I am new to the area and looking for a home base for a nail salon. The inside of this place is gorgeous however the finished product was a completely different story! I asked for a pedicure and full acrylic set manicure, I've stuck with the same color for years. The pedicure chair was nice, relaxing and enjoyable, then a gentleman came over to start my acrylic nails at the same time. I asked for short "to the ends of my fingertips", however after 3 times of asking I finally said "okay" with the length. I proceeded to let him know "the nail on my thumb is crooked, is there a way to fix this?" He told me multiple times "yes" but never did. My 6 year old daughter told me it was crooked when I said "what is wrong with my thumb?" When I got home! My pedicure finished and I was attempting to put my boot on when the woman who gave me a pedicure was trying to "help". I was trying not to mess up what the man had don with my nails and she proceeded to try and shove my leg in my boot, laughed at me, spoke to another employee who came over and laughed and then tried as well. Finally I moved both of them away and put my boot on with no problem. He continued on when he proceeded to use the drill on my nails, he cut my middle finger nail/cuticle to the point where I continued to bleed even after holding tissue on it for a minute. His solution? Put nail glue on it WHILE it was bleeding and pooling blood still. After this I was so upset I just wanted him to finish so I could leave. Over a $100.00 spent and just over 1 week my acrylics started falling off! Please avoid. Again beautiful on the inside but not a good look experience. read more

I took my mom here today. The place was clean nice and open plenty of chairs for pedicures and manicures and a nice waxing station set off to the side. The pricing was fair given the location. The young man who did my mom's nails had a great attention to detail although he wasn't much for conversation. At the end of the day we were in and out in about an hour for a shellac manicure for about 50 bucks. read more

I used to love this place! I went in a couple weeks ago and the manager was rude. He did my nails and they are too thick and crappy looking! He was up and down constantly taking care of other issues, took him forever to do my fill. I think if you're gonna manage a place maybe you shouldn't do nails too! Several people called in to make appointments and they were never written down! People walked in with appointments and still waited over an hour! I'll be finding a new a new place. read more

I just left the salon after getting a pedicure. The entire process took only 20 minutes, and it was very basic. The paint job was terrible! Since I'm from out of town, I had to go to Walmart next door to buy nail polish to redo them myself. I also took my niece for a manicure, and all they did was paint her nails without performing a proper manicure. I do not recommend this place! read more

Came here for a UV Gel Fill and pedicure, left with a Powder Gel Manicure and pedicure. Pros: This establishment is very clean, newly renovated (they're only about 5/6 months old) and they have high-tech chairs that are very comfortable. The nail techs take their time on any service they offer, there was no point where I felt like my services were rushed. Cons: This Place did not have UV Gel so I couldn't get a fill, I just had them take my old UV Gel overlay off and I went with powder gel. Was a slight inconvenience, but powder gel is better for your nail bed. They're also a bit pricey compared to their competitors in the market. read more

I know I can always get a solid pedicure from here. The only down side is they don't have Wifi it's 2019! EVERYWHERE should have WiFi! The last time I got a gel manicure it peeled in one day. I was not happy as I was on vacation so couldn't go back to get it fixed. They do a good good with the pedicure and the price is right. The interior is nicely decorated and clean. One tip... make sure to bring cash because they surcharge you for using a card. read more

I wish I would have read the reviews before going here. I was at Panera and thought I'd stop by. There was a long wait, and then I was seated at Marie's station. She never looked me in the eye and never said anything like "hello" or anything. Okay, I figured, it's really in the nails anyway, right? So then she did my nails. Marie apparently doesn't know she needs to paint the sides of the nails, too. Take a look at the photos and be sure to click on them for larger view so you can see that ALL of the nails are lousy. Also, the massage she gave was pathetic and painful. She massaged the TOP of my hands where the veins are instead of the palm side--dumb. I left her a nice tip, prepared ahead of time, but later I noticed what a sloppy job she did on the manicure. The manicures themselves are extremely overpriced. I didn't get a gel manicure--just the regular. I'm glad I didn't pay more. I won't be back again. read more

Finally!!! I have lived in Grand Blanc for a year and had my eyebrows waxed at the handful of places that do waxing, and never went to the same one twice. I just wasn't happy. I went into Grand Blanc Nails & Spa today a werewolf and walked out a fox! I am so pleased!!! The establishment is very well appointed, relaxing, and pleasant. My wait, without an appointment, was less than 10 minutes. My esthetician was friendly and efficient. The chair was comfy enough to nap in if you were having a longer treatment of some kind...one in which hair is not being torn out. I will be back regularly because while "natural" brows are back in style, the beauty magazines and social expectations never mean THAT natural. It's a relief to have a place to go get my naturally full brows browscaped to perfection! read more

The first visit was great. Came back a second time and my pedicure was awful. My shellac manicure was great. The lady kept telling me to hold my leg up as she did my feet when normally they do both. So happy with my nails! I got acrylic fills with polish change. My friend and I went in in hopes of getting a nails fixed from the previous place we went to. We were greeted right away and signed in. The set up is perfect you can easily sit next to a friend your with and they have enough stations and nail techs working. I've been a regular client at this nail salon for the past 8 months. As a recent widow, and recently moving to the area, I normally thoroughly enjoy my salon time. Although I don't have a regular nail tech and usually walk in, they are usually really prompt and efficient. As a long time cosmetologist, now retired, I ALWAYS leave a tip for the nail tech. ... I'm a very particular person and also a self proclaimed germaphobe which causes me to pay close attention to EVERYTHING. There have been a few times when their male nail techs were doing my nails, I noticed they didnt implement cleanliness or sanitary practices as well as the young ladies that work here. A few times Ive asked them to please wash their hands, or please use a new file on me, not a used one. I usually get polish removal, a manicure, and shellac nail polish every 2 or 3 weeks. During my last appointment about 10 days ago, I noticed a slight discoloration and thickness in my nails. I brought it to the attention of the young man who was doing my nails. This was his 2nd time servicing me. He assured me it was nothing to be concerned about especially since I was getting my nails cut down during this appointment. Once I got home, I still noticed a difference in my nails. After a few days they seemed to be lifting like something you would see in toes that have a fungus. So one week later, and constant worry of my nails, I went back in. This time to only have the Shellac polish removed. And just as I thought, once the polish was removed, I could see a full blown fungal infection on several of my nails. This time I received nail service from a very attentive young lady. When she realized the intensity of my concern and the very obvious infection, she called over the female manager whose reaction was "She put her hands in a chemical and it messed her nails up." Huh??? I said, "No, my hands have not been in any chemicals. I obviously got an infection from here." She continued to say very loudly that I've been putting my nails in chemicals and that's what caused me to have an infection. She continued to repeat this while returning to her station and working on her client. Never speaking to me personally. Never apologizing. Never offering any suggestions or any treatments. She's a professional nail text and a business owner/manager who obviously wasn't concerned about trying to keep a regular client. But instead continuously shouted out I had put my hands in a chemical. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON FOR NAIL SERVICE!!! I am mortified at the current condition of my nails. The people at this salon do not care about their clients and are obviously spreading a fungus throughout this salon. read more

usually when i go here my nails turn out so good, today they turned out horrible i quite literally cried out of frustration. i showed the girl doing my nails a simple reference picture and she didn't even do anything remotely close to the picture. i also asked for the letter K on my ring finger 6 times and to NOT do french tips and she completely ignored that and did what i asked her NOT to do...she put a french tip on one finger. one. she also painted my nails pink? when the reference photo didn't have any pink in it at all, i told her before she started that i wanted the base color neutral. to say i'm disappointed is an understatement. wouldn't recommend. read more

If the express tag team mani pedi is what your looking for, this place is for you. If you're looking for a relaxing spa type of experience don't bother. They tag team you from the time you sit down. I called at 12:30 from 5 min away according to my GPS. I drove here, signed in sat in a pedi chair, had a shellac mani and regular pedi and was escorted over to sit for my toes to dry all by 1:09. I was seriously in the chair for less than 30 min. The ladies were nice enough but when they started to talk between themselves and ignoring me I decided to place a call to make a hair appointment. The women doing my nails seemed annoyed that I had the phone in my hand when she was ready for it. Since they decided to do my manicure while they were also doing my pedicure. Mind you I would never normally never talk on the phone while getting a mani pedi, however I figured they weren't paying attention or speaking to me, they were busy with their own conversation and seemed to be in a race as to who could finish first. I hate saloons who tag team you like this in the first place. I pay good money for some pampering and I just want someone to rub my feet, even if it's only five minutes. I can honestly say it was the most rushed non relaxing experience I've had in any saloon in the four states I've lived in, in the last 5+ years. They were efficient and quick so if that's what your looking for they're great at it. If your looking to relax and be pampered find somewhere else. read more

It pains me to leave this updated review but it's been a year in coming. After 9+years of coming to see Nancy at her other location in Burton Walmart. And then again when she opened Grand Blanc nails. I was thrilled for her to open her new place.& I had been happy with her & recommended her to more than several dozen people. Well No More. All my allegiance to her was paid back with progressively lousy service in the form of making an appointment which shouldn't take more than an hour then having had to wait up to 3.5hrs in her chair while she did other things for multiple people. THEN she started upping her prices. Over the last year I never knew how much to expect. Just when I thought I could budget what it'd be, INCLUDING a nice tip! She'd up the price again. The last time was when another customer got what I usually did for $38. Which I questioned. Because I had been paying $45 at the new salon. At the other salon it was $38 for a few years. Now I can understand prices go up & you have a new salon to pay for but charging an outrageous price to your oldest customers does not make for a happy customers who will continue to come to you. I was completely outraged at my last visit. She charged me $55 for a full set which I DID NOT NEED. But her husband insisted I did & had already started taking off my nails while she went off somewhere. He said to grab lunch. Ummm, HELLO if I have an appointment with you I EXPECT to be taken care of at that time....not when you can fit me in between other nail & waxing customers & your lunch. When I questioned him about the price he gave me several excuses about the other customer coming from the other salon. Hmmm really? So did I !! For almost 10 years! And then he said well you come in with broken nails all the time. Ummm --NO I DO NOT! I have one finger that lifts about every other month. No big deal, it's still just a fill. I came in to both their salons faithfully every 3wks like clockwork for over 9 years. I love having nails. I've had them for 30+ years! I am NOT someone who let's them go & comes in needing a new set or multiple repairs. So after my last visit with the $55 charge that was the last straw that broke the camel's back. I've found another salon closer to my home who charges a NORMAL fee for great service & fast work! My 1st appt took only 45mins & the person did not leave me for 1 second. I've waited to post this review to be sure the nails stay on & they have been beautiful & stayed on even longer than 3 weeks. Bye, Nancy & Huy. I suggest you change how you treat your oldest customers or this new business might not last. I've already seen some other negative reviews about your fees & treatment of new customers. I think they do a decent job looks wise. My nails looked great, however the gel/shellac began to peel 1 week after they were done. The thing I'm most upset about is the infection in my toe nail... the two times I have been one of my toe nails have gotten infected. Will not return :( read more

I walking in for my appointment and was told to sit in the pedicure seat. It took 30 minutes for someone to come and turn on the water for me or to ig knowledge I was still waiting. After a pretty relaxing scrub and massage the man came over to paint my toes and do my acrylic. The man drilled my nail and cuticle so much and so many time it became tender and now aches. NOT TO MENTION THEY DONT SANITIZE THEIR TOOLS. He left glue all over my toe and kept pulling my skin from the acrylic. After telling him my toe looked crooked he proceeded to file til there was barely any acrylic left and yet it was still crooked. I told him that, and he handed me the file and told me to FILE IT MYSELF. He then place acrylic powder between my toe and my skin making it feel so uncomfortable. WILL NOT COME BACK! read more

I went to the salon today to get my manicure done and I had a previous acrylic on my nails and although it was grown out it was not lifted. (because it was not done in that salon). The gentleman there proceeded to take a nail and force it between the acrylic and my nail. Rips the acrylic off my real nail and he did this twice!!!! I was visibly upset because of pain. When I look down at one of my nails in the middle of the nail was red because he ripped off a lot of the top of the nail and then he proceeded to get mad because I asked him to soak my nails off (instead of just ripping them off and hurting my fingers). Then he proceeded to leave me for 15 minutes without coming back with my hand soaking in acetone!!! Now I've been getting my nails done for almost 20 years and I know that you're not you can't soak nails in acetone for that long and not expect to have to scrape off the acrylic or having to do some work on them. Again I only had an overlay. He proceeded to argue with me and go back-and-forth and saying that he actually tried to help me but I decided to do things this way when in all honesty this was the correct way to do things... because my nail was not lifted at any part!!!! So then he never returned to me to actually do the work they claim that he was providing for me he was very rude. They ended up putting another nail tech with me and she completed it with no problem... by simply just filing off the acrylic. When I left and no one even say goodbye for me ... all the while they were saying goodbye to everybody else and happy holidays. This is been like the third or fourth time that I've come here and had an incident where it was either very rude and uncomfortable for me or just not exactly right. I moved here from over an hour away and I've had better service in the metro Detroit area and just because you have a lot of people does not mean you have quality of service quality of service !!!! I will not be returning to the salon I don't care if I have to drive back home over an hour!!! I rather go somewhere where I'm treated respectfully!! Also being that there is only one male there and he talks down to women is a disgusting and the women of the salon should address this and make the salon more a safe environment. Also being the only of person of color in the salon at the time also made me feel very uncomfortable that no one even said anything for how was I miss treated! This place sucks!!!! Every time I go here my nails are done horribly, break the next day, are either very thin or very thick. They're always rushing when I'm getting my nails done and often are doing not only my nails but others at the same time UNSANITARY???? The kids throwing pillows at me and other customers. I am still so frustrated with this place. I got a manicure and pedicure two weekends ago for a friends wedding and this may have been the worst customer service I've experienced at a nail salon. Certainly not worth what they charge. For starters it took 2.5 hours for a basic mani and pedi. Apparently my pants wouldn't roll up high enough for the pedicurist and instead of just accommodating it, the guy decided to rub lotion all over my one pair of jeans for the whole weekend. Even when I asked him to stop he kept doing it and completely soaked them on top of it. They were up mid-calf for crying out loud! So unnecessary. My toes dried for over an hour (while I was waiting for my half-assed manicure to be completed) and when I put my shoes back on after, the nail polish smudged really badly. They obviously put the polish on way too thick. The manicure was all over the place. Two different people did my manicure because they were so distracted trying to service people who came in hours after me, no one gave me any lotion and the shellac started to chip/peel within two days. They were waaay understaffed for a Friday afternoon so the service was horrible and distracted. Not to mention their kid was there so they had cartoons blasting through out the salon. I wish I could rate this place a ZERO! Today was my second experience at the salon. The last experience I had was fine. Today I went in with my mom to treat her for her birthday. I went in three weeks ago to purchase a gift card. I spoke with the manager, and asked him for a price on a Mani-Pedi. He gave me a price of $65 or $67..I can't remember...I said that was perfect and that I would like to purchase a gift card for $65. After my mom and I were serviced, we went to pay and they charged her almost $90 for her Mani-Pendi. I have never been to a nail salon where I had to pay $90 first of all. The service was OK... But they didn't talk to us at all, and they missed a bunch of stuff on my toes. Not only that, but I confronted the manager about the cost and he told me I was lying and that I was wrong, and that nobody would ever tell me that. We went back-and-forth for a while until I decided to walk out. I paid for my service. I did not tip and I ended up not getting my manicure. This place lies about prices to your face, and they are very rude. I will never go back and I will never recommend this place. How dare you tell a customer they are lying about how much money they purchased a gift card for. People don't just buy gift cards with random amounts on them. Especially for a gift to treat somebody for nails. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

During my nail appointment my manicurist was on the phone for 30 minutes. I was then moved for a pedicure and sat for 18 minutes with NO acknowledgement whatsoever. I eventually left with no pedicure, misshaped nails and bloody cuticles from being cut during the filing process. I will never return. read more

I had my nails done here. I get dip powder which is difficult to find in the area. They have a lot of colors, were very friendly, and I have had them on six days. My nails are not showing growth showing and they still look perfect. I highly recommend. read more

I went there because we are traveling from out of town. We had lunch at Panera and I stopped in to ask if the could do a full set of nails, pedicure and eyelashes. The lady said no problem . I went back after work at 4 on a Thursday. The pedicure started out with "No Menu ofserviced" a Lady Geri g a pedicure giving a description to me. I chose the $45.00 deluxe. The girl that was performing the services was on her I phone with ATT talking while filling my pedicure bowl with cold water. After adding my extra product to cold water , I finally got her attention away from phone & asked for warmer water. She had to scoop out cold water with a bowl. Actually took 3 times to get it Luke warm. I was looking at colors being rushed as another girl came to do my nails. Tried to work chair for lumbar support and didn't work. So uncomfortable. The lady doing my nails worked on 2 sides while trying to relax for my pedi. My nails were filed all different shapes and not painted on sides & ends. I paid extra for shellac . Asked that she repaint nails while waiting for eyelashes. She was clearly aggravated. After this a lady brought me into a room to do eyelashes. I was shown pictures of eyelashes , they looked great. I choose my look. The head lady came in and explain to eyelash lady. They asked if instead of filling in on my existing eyelashes they could remove and start from scratch. I agreed. She taped my eyes up and began to remove my lashes. As she scrubbed my eyes I was being poked with her nail. No gloves. I am a astetichian and this is a health violation. Also she touched her phone answering it while touching my eyes. I was place on the table at 5:15. After 3 hours of pain and constant poking & rubbing of the eye, she sat me up on the table. My eyes were stuck together. I figured after 3 hours , now 8:45 these would be best eyelashes ever. I had swollen eyes and large hard glue chucks on my eyelash line. The lashes were all stuck together and felt like concrete. Then I asked to speak to head lady and told her this was completely not the proper application . Then the lady who applied then started screaming in a foreign language. I told the head lady that I was a astatichian and this was improper application. The lady grabbed a metal twezzars and was trying to pull up on my lashes. I told them I wanted them removed but my eyes were to sore. They said come back tomorrow. I am so upset. I will be reporting to state board. Clearly I was a practice dummy. DO NOT Get you lashes done there. I am home with swollen eyes. read more

I was excited to get my nails done today. Son was at daycare just wanted to relax. Unfortunately as tely my experience was not wonderful. Get there and they get a pedi chair ready for me, I sat there for and hr, 2 woman walked in after me and were already getting there nails done. What because I don't know owners by there name I wiat longer to get a maid or pedi. They walked by me multiple times and nothing. I've gotten my nails done a few times at this place and the first few times I had a good experience but my last time there was about a week ago on a Saturday, they were busy when I got there so I expected to wait for a little bit but they got me to my pedicure chair pretty quick and then I had to wait at least 30 minutes before anyone came over. I was also getting a fill with shellac ( while getting that done, they had seated at least 8 people in the pedicure seats and only had 6 people working, 4 of which were doing nails) and that was where it went really down hill, the guy I had doing my nails was very heavy handed and I felt the heat of the drill more then a few times and then when painting my nails he used his thumb nail to push my cuticles up and continued to do so even after I said it hurt ( I was shocked my cuticles weren't bleeding) and when I was paying ( it cost $67 and I gave $80 cash) he wasn't going to give me my change, he assumed I was giving him the whole amount, with any job that a tip is normally given you should always give the change and not assume what your tip will be. When I did ask for my change, he looked at me like I was crazy and repeated the total to me and I explained that I understood and wanted my change. I gave a $10 tip (15%) and he treated me as if I had given him $1. read more
