Heading to Vegas and needed to stop. This place is in the middle of nowhere! We pulled up and there wasn't anyone there. But the guy working there was the nicest! He opened the door for us and welcomed us. He pointed us to the bathroom without us even asking! I was pleasantly surprised at how clean this place is! The entire store was spotless and the bathroom was so clean! They had a variety of all different snacks and drinks. As the clerk rang up others who had stopped in after we arrived, he was telling great stories and including all of us in on the story. He was sweet. GODDAMN! this place has high quality gas that's really inexpensive. If that's not awesome enough they also have a snack selection that will melt your face. Then the icing on the cake: when I rolled up it looked like a Vegas nightclub... Good looking peeps just chilling, sipping, and enjoying this oasis in the middle of the desert (cliche I know but it's the only way to describe it). It's a little hard to get to as there's not a paved crossover on this section of Highway 93. But if you're heading to Arizona from Las Vegas to buy lottery tickets consider stopping here. You'll find friendly service, and during the record Mega Millions madness the line was barely 15 minutes long. Compare that with the lines at Rosie's Den or the 4 hour wait at Primm at the CA / NV State Line. It's not fancy but if you want a cold bottle of water, a Coke, or need gas, you can get in and out fast. And that's what counts. Also Arizona sells BOTH Powerball and Mega Millions tickets, and this location also lets you pay with a debit card. Many places are cash only so this is a bonus. read more

I travel through this area often (Vegas to Phoenix and back), and I find myself always running low on fuel. When I do, I head to the Texaco convenience store and fill up my tank. The fuel prices are reasonable compared to the rest of the gas stations in the area. Its also nice to be able to grab an energy drink in the middle of the desert when you've been driving for hours on end, something the tourists from Las Vegas can definitely appreciate I'm sure. I have gotten to know the cashiers by name, and they always greet me with a smile when I come in. If I were to ask them to improve anything, it would be to stock more Twinkies. I have a ritual of buying an ice cold water, a bag of beef jerky, and Twinkies when I stop here. In the end, I'm happy that I can get my petrol here, grab some snacks and soda, and use their nice bathrooms. read more

Stopped in for your typical pit stop, grabbed a bite, loaded up on more snacks and filled my tank. The owner was really accommodating and we chatted for a couple minutes, super nice guy! Also a very clean establishment. Rarely do you see a spotless gas station bathroom. read more

So my first encounter with this establishment was pretty dissatisfying. The access to this location is limited, the property was disgusting & the bathrooms were atrocious. Worst thing was they were ridiculously overpriced on gasoline. So much that The term highway robbery definitely apply to them. Obviously reviews as well as sales were not important for the owner(s) by the lack of maintenance to the property. Several months had passed since I wrote my initial review and put this stop in my rearview mirror on the road to never stop here again when I received a message from the new owners of this Texaco. By the sounds of their message they were appalled by the quality of service that was provided prior to their purchase and they asked me to stop by and see the changes they have made. Once again I found myself on that desolate road between Kingman and Sin City so I decided to drop in for a surprise inspection. The one thing you do when approaching gas stations in the middle of nowhere is cringe in fear of the ridiculous amounts they charge for fuel. The first thing I notice driving into this location was the fact their gas pricing seemed reasonable. As I arrived closer to the pump I noticed the trash cans were not overflowing with trash. I think I even saw somebody cleaning their windows which if I recall last time I was here the window wipers were bone dry and destroyed. Optimistically I headed it inside and I've got to say I was pleasantly surprised at the transformation of the store. Clean and remodeled, clean bathrooms, plenty of beverages and snacks to choose from-A more inviting atmosphere that's for sure. I'm hard-pressed to get 5 stars unless my experiences are amazing. 3 stars are for average locations but I'm willing to give this place 4 for their hard work and dedication in transforming this catastrophe into a worthwhile place to stop. For all the gas price searchers out there they weren't too far off from Kingman and they were the same price as the Chevron a mile from them. So if you find yourself riding on E because you forgot to stop don't worry about having to take out alone to buy gas here. Hats off to the new owners for stepping up to the plate and making a difference for the consumer. read more

Cleanest gas station Ive ever been to. Large food market for a gas station and restrooms were super clean!

Employee of this place used the restroom and never washed their hands. The worst part is after they left they came back with paper towels to replace in the dispenser, dropped the keys in the trash, dug through the trash, and then replaced the paper towels with those same dirty hands from before!
