I ask if he is closing and he replies "well, yes ma'am". So naturally I jump out and hustle inside to find something to buy quick. I spied pie. I ask "who makes the food" and Larry said he bakes the pie and the carrot cake from scratch. CARROT CAKE. Oh I'm so on it! I have pulled into parking lots and watched clerks lock the door and run and hide as I walked up. NOT HERE. Not at GRASSHOPPER JUNCTION DELI when Larry is on duty! I think that's awesome. And the carrot cake is very good too! Next door to FAT TONY'S Pizza open FRI SAT SUN 2-8. Both are owned by BOB. A friendly gent who enjoys chatting. I've actually entered this deli and pizza place into my contacts so we can actually time our next drive this way, and eat pizza at Fat Tony's and top it off with carrot cake made by Larry...FROM SCRATCH!

I slipped on some unmarked substance that appeared to be donut filling from the nearby donut container, but the staff were nice about it. You can redeem Safeway and Albertsons points here for gas. Then I saw Bonfire Grill, they had huge slices of Supreme Pizza for $3.00! This pizza wasn't just good for gas station pizza, it was good pizza period! It was a bit thick but it was light and buttery, the crust was delicious! The toppings were your standard toppings but they were well distributed and tasted pretty good and fresh! After I used the bathroom I decided to check out the store & get some candy. I have the Terrible's app & when I went to check out the cashier, Jeanine was super nice! She had told me that every Tuesday the app has a free item you can claim. She told me it was a Link Beef steak teriyaki stick & brought me right over to where they were. She told me she likes the teriyaki one vs the plain one so that's the one I went with. I gave it to my friend but had a bite & we both thought it was tasty & liked it. Thanks Jeanine for letting me know about the Tuesday deal cause no other Terrible's has told me about this. I could tell that they redid their bathroom because I've used it before in the past. It was pretty much clean besides some toilet paper on the floor. Jeanine had to unlock the door for me, it was a key pad lock. The location is open 24/7 with the Truck Care area open from 6 AM to 11 PM daily. The Subway is 24/7 and the Chester's is open daily from 10 AM to 10 PM. Judging by the Mark XIX Desert Eagle the guy in front of me had stuffed in his shorts, I'll say no.
