    Grand entrance!

My wife and I stayed here four nights and we really enjoyed it. The location on the cliffs provides sweeping views. The rooms have a large private balcony overlooking the sea and is quiet. Amazing pool. What makes it exceptional is the helpful staff who are friendly and take initiative to help make your trip smooth, from arranging travel to minor details that need attention. And the price is very reasonable.

Again, love love love this hotel!!!!! My fiancé and I came again this year and loved it and we got engaged!!!!! They remodeled the pool and it now has a beach entry, very cool! Staff is so accommodating and attentive. I honestly don't know why people are giving such bad reviews. The rooms are nice, gives a true authentic Italian feel.

While the concierge was very helpful once we asked if someone could come to the hospital, management at the hotel did not care. I only heard from management after the day of the fall once I was checking out a few days later to tell me this has never happened before at the hotel. My room rate included breakfast and I could not walk easily the next day so ordered room service for breakfast, was charged for that since room service breakfast was not included (to give you an idea of how the hotel dealt with it)

It was worth it though because the place is beautiful. Our amalfi coast tour guide told us that the place is divided into roughly 5 sections with a glamorous wealthy people area behind the big main town. The island is also closed for a few months after Christmas because not very many visitors go during that time so everyone gets a break. He explained that amalfi pretty much survives only because of tourists. The area is known for their lemon products..especially the limoncello. The main area has quite a few shops and eateries as well as a few name brands. I got a lemon gelato at one of the gelaterias and I'm pretty sure they overcharged me at 5 euros. None of the gelaterias had pricing available though. There's a public restroom right outside the main area but other than that bathrooms are a bit scarce unless you dine or have coffee somewhere.

Stretching along southern Italy's coastline, it delivers a mix of natural beauty, historic charm, and Italian elegance. Each town along the coast has its own unique personality. Boat travel is one of the best ways to experience the coast. Ferries connect many towns and islands. The Amalfi Coast is a destination that lives up to its reputation.
