When I pointed this out to the female owner, she very rudely retorted that that is why the item was discounted. That made me recollect that about a year ago I found plain lachchi (yogurt drink) outdated by about a month. At that time, I noted the expiration date after the rotten taste in trying to drink it. Glad I recently discovered "Spice Bazaar" nearby. Plan to not only more carefully check for expiration dates, but also minimize groceries from South Asian stores.

Not great, but fine. The problem I had was mainly the person working there. They weren't rude, but they were definitely not even getting close to friendly. They also not only did not have a sign asking patrons to wear masks (as is currently the law) but the employee working was not wearing a mask either. He did not even attempt to correct it. He went into the back a couple times while I was shopping and, at no time did he return with a mask on. Lastly, one of the things I love about Spice Bazaar is that, the instant you walk in, you are hit with the wonderful smell of all these spices. Little Indian just kind of smells musty, leading me to believe the spices are older or not as fresh. I'll go back in if I absolutely need to, but plan on being more organized with my grocery shopping so I don't have to.
