Check out Grand Ravines! . . Worth the trip for the dog park alone, but we also enjoyed woods, wildflowers, the Grand River, plus suspension and covered bridges along the mostly paved trail.

I can't rate for a dog but it looks like a fun place to meet and make new dog friends! I do know the trails behind the dog park are my go-to place for a peaceful walk! Today I completed a 4.5 mile walk/run along paved and unpaved paths through lush green trees and rolling fields. The breeze rustled the leaves and made the wildflowers come to life as I ran past. The suspension bridge over a deep ravine sways and moves underfoot and transports you out of the hustle and bustle of the city. Keep following the trails and you'll find interesting informative overlooks discussing local foliage and the history of the area. I particularly enjoyed the path following the river complete with a covered bridge! What a lovely getaway! The bathrooms are clean and there are benches to rest throughput the trails. Do be prepared for some muddier areas after a rain.

One of the nicest dog parks I've ever been to. The facilities are immaculate. Everything seems to fresh and new. There is a large field for dogs to go off leash, and then trails to walk outside the fenced in area. We did the 1 mike loop that goes to the suspension bridge. It was awesome! If in the area, I'd go back in a heartbeat. For how nice it was, it wasn't overly crowded either!

Very large dog park with plenty of space for big and small dogs alike. Off-leash, fenced-in trails make for an enjoyable walk about through nature. Park does tend to be muddy after big storms and in the winter.

Great dog park and very clean! The trails that run behind the dog park are also worth checking out. Every visit is fantastic!

I'm certain that this will be a five-star destination when it's complete. Right now--it's badly in need of some shade. The construction trucks were also a bit loud. The off-leash trail (on the right) was fun--I was careful to check for ticks when leaving, though! The grass was so high. We'll try again in fall when it's cooler.

It's definitely plenty of room for my 96lb pup to roam. Well kept up. Appreciate the waste bags kept filled. Great parking.

For the most part there are responsible owners. It's a large and well kept park. It does get muddy easily but there is a shower station.

My pups favorite spot. Nothing wrong with the facility. Just some of the patrons neglect rules such as; no food and no small children.

This park is AWESOME. It's always busy too! One pen for large, one for small. Dogs can get of lead and run their hearts out.

I come here a lot and sometimes it's super chill and quiet and other times the dogs are all rowdy and loud. They also do special events like trivia, comedians, and foam parties for the dogs!

Located on the East End of town, the dog park was a little tricky for me to find out how to get to it. Not being from here originally, I'm not quite familiar with everything. I figured it out though by entering the park off Franklin and driving towards the boat ramp. The entrance to the dog park is right next to the boat ramp. Separate areas for small and large dogs, although while I was there, the small dog area (which is also smaller in size) was the only area with dogs in them.. and they were larger dogs. My guy will play with anyone though and he was happy to have someone to play with. Great little free park and I'm sure I'll be back quite often.

However it's also located right next to the sewer treatment plant, so if there's a stiff wind, watch out! The large-dog area is HUGE and has a nice rolling hill for dogs to run over. It doesn't have water stations like other parks in the area, but just outside of the fenced area there is a dog water station. It could use a bench or two for seating, but it's nicely maintained and a spacious spot for dogs to burn through their energy. I would recommend visiting!
