We rented tables, chairs, nesco's, and the nacho cheese machine. Everything was delivered early and in good condition. I changed my order about a week beforehand and they were very helpful. Had trouble getting the nacho cheese nozzle on but that was us, not them. We put everything back in the front and they picked it up Monday morning. I even accidentally kept one of the nesco pans and they called looking for it and were very nice about it. I would definitely use them again! read more

My wedding reception was coming up and I needed to reserve some tables and chairs. I put in a big reservation order and paid the security deposit without consulting with my wedding party and family. It turns out that my family have already prepared the chairs and tables for the reception. Grand Rental Station was so kind to return the whole deposit back with no penalty and even wished me good luck on my wedding. If this is not phenominal customer service, I don't know what is. Disregard other negative comments about David (owner) because if it was anyone to train such amazing staff, it would be him. read more

Unreliable and Poor Customer Service If you want reliable and courteous service this is NOT the place to do business. Two years in a row we did not get the items we reserved (one year item broken, one year didn't have the item) and we got no apology or accommodation from the business. Our experience was renting a Karaoke machine was horrendous. We received the machine and when we set it up prior to the party, the play button was jammed and we couldn't get it to play. We called and Dustin stated they were closed and there was nothing he could do. Thankfully he then said he could meet us back at the shop in an hour and a half to exchange it. My friend waited for 15 minutes and he didn't show. Thankfully he then dropped it off at the party location. We set up the machine and it worked, however, the machine was very old school. Flipping through a CD case to find a song, awful sound, feedback from the microphone and barely able to hear the music/singing. When we called to complain their response was that it works fine and nothing is wrong with their machine. I think their equipment is sub-par and their customer service is even worse. Horrible customer service! Rented a slushee machine. THEY loaded it in our car. Got to our hose and took it out to put together and immediately notice the tab on the drip tray was broken. We took a picture of it and had six people witness it. When we returned it we informed them of it and even showed the picture. Lady claimed it was a fresh break and she cleaned and inspected it before we got it. Told them it was broken when we took it out and they said it must have broke during the transport in our car which was physically impossible. They charged us an extra $35 for it. BEWARE when you rent from them! Make sure you go over everything before you drive out. Plus they just loaded the machine with no instructions how to work it. Very rude people. read more

The equipment they rent seems pretty beat up. The equipment we rented had a defective cord. When we first started using the sander, thought we were throwing breakers. The sander just stopped working. Found the cord attached to the handle was soooooo worn that it would run when you moved the cord. SCAREY. The sander itself really did a great job on the deck. Once you wiggled the cord enough to get power it did a good job. When I returned it one of the things done was to check if it worked. Even the staff person needed 3 outlets to get power, and only when the cord was jiggled. This sander had a tag on it that stated it had been checked, and was ready to rent. When I pointed out the problem we had, the sander was put in the "repair" section. No way this wasn't known before renting to me. There was a clump of electrical tape with parts of the wire exposed. BE WARNED: they never showed there was a 6% damage waiver charge that you could WAIVE! Kind of sneaky to include on bill w/o asking you about it. Buyer beware. read more

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED. A nightmare for any bride on the day of her wedding and here is why: 1. They could only guarantee a delivery time between 7am and 3pm. Wedding ceremony began at 3. Not sure how they thought that would be acceptable. 2. Charged my credit card without prior approval. 3. In order to guarantee that the chairs would be delivered for my ceremony on time, they could only offer a 6AM DELIVERY TIME. 4. When asked if someone needed to be there to receive the chairs, they said no as long as there were detailed instructions on where to set up. Gave them detailed instructions and marked the location and STILL WAS SET UP IN WRONG LOCATION. 5. Would not come to fix their mistake because they were overbooked and then proceeded to BLAME ME, THEIR CUSTOMER, THE BRIDE, FOR THEIR MISTAKE. 6. We had to move 100 chairs on the morning of my wedding. Then they required exact details as to where the chairs were being moved so it was CONVENIENT FOR THEM to pick up. 7. Offered only a $52 refund for the mistake with a TOTAL BILL OF $700. 8. RUDEST PEOPLE TO EVER WORK WITH. If you are a bride and want to save yourself from some headaches on your wedding day, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM! read more

We rented a Karaoke machine from them and the first unit they gave us did not work at all. The disc would not spin when play was pressed. They said they would meet us after hours to switch it out and I waited 30 minutes for someone to show up at the designated time and no one did. I even called the cell phone number they gave me twice and no one picked up. They eventually brought out a second unit and that one didn't work well either. The machine they rent out for $90 is probably from 1995 and wouldn't even be worth that much today if they tried to sell it. When I complained that neither unit worked properly I was told that it was working fine for them and that they bent over backwards for me. If they had truly bent over backwards I would have had a functioning machine at my party. As it was no one was able to use it the night of the party. They refused to refund our money so we ended up paying for a broken machine and our wasted time. ** As a side note you don't argue with the customer. The customer is always right and they could stand to learn that. DON'T rent from them. You are better off driving a bit farther to get better quality. read more

HORRIBLE customer service when it comes to the owner David. If I could give 0 stars on him alone, I would. I own and operate a home servicing business and rented a pole saw last minute which didn't work properly and the chain wasn't sharp which resulted in immediately returning it. While explaining to David the issue my contractors were having he became very rude and angry and made a comment insinuating that I was lying because he "just sharpened the chain and it worked just fine before". David took the saw in back and later came out and blamed us for breaking it. While trying to explain to him again that it wasn't working properly when we got it, he continuously interrupted me making rude comments. I then said I wanted a refund which he stated I would not be getting one and that he now had to have his mechanic look at it and fix it since we brought it back broken. What a jerk!! I am surprised he is still in business after reading all the reviews. Every single bad review references David as being rude and unprofessional. Another thing I noticed is that all of those reviews are from women. Clearly he has issues with how he treats and speaks to women. I will NEVER step foot in that store again. I would rather pay double elsewhere than get treated like garbage by that guy. The only positive experience I had was dealing with Shannon initially when I reserved other equipment, and Dustin the mechanic. They were both veey courteous and professional. Its pretty sad when an employee apologizes for their own boss's inappropriate behavior. way over charge was told one price over the phone and that my truck would be no problem to tow item back they called me the morning i was supposed to pick it up and told me the owner had it at his house and it would be a while to get it back 1.5 hours later, when i got there they said because my truck did not have trailer brakes that they would have to deliver it which they did not say anything about when i reserved it and asked if my 1500 truck could tow it. then the price went from what should have been just under 300 to almost 600, because of a delivery fee and a trailer rental fee etc etc. dont use these guys use the other guys on the south side of town. read more
