I had an amazing initial experience with him to then be treated completely horribly and inhumanely by him in a number of ways. He left teeth 26 and 13 unfinished, causing me agony and suffering, and was completely negligent of my treatment as his patient. I am going to LOSE the teeth he started treating because he left them unfinished and no one would help me since they kept telling me to go back to him and he wouldn't help me even though it was HIS problem to treat. He treated me like I was the lowest human being on earth, and his justification? I was/am extremely depressed. So he gave up on me and treated me like I didn't exist and didn't deserve treatment. Because I was struggling. That was his justification. If you are ever struggling with these feelings, know that he feels you are beneath him. I hope one day he himself or one of his loved ones experiences that because he deserves to feel it first hand. I have been having extreme cold and hot sensitivity with 13 (which I should not be, indicating he likely left nerve tissue still in there or it's reinfected or cracked). I cannot eat and drink without suffering and he should be charged as far as I'm concerned. That is taking away basic human rights to physical nourishment, and he already knew I had an eating disorder, and I think he was intentionally doing that to starve me further and harm me intentionally. And he knew the physical agony I had been having with 26 and he left that unfinished to get re-infected as well. I am going to have to get a biopsy of it and get it extracted, and I very well could have osteomyelitis because of him leaving it open to infection. It was malicious intent. He knew EXACTLY what he was doing, putting me in harms way intentionally. He purposefully didn't finish these teeth so they could get reinfected and cause me harm. He not only didn't care if I had complications, he wanted me to have them. When I called to tell them that I was having problems with the treatment HE did, they told me they wouldn't see me. He never cared that I am suffering and struggling. Someone else tested 13 last week and told me it's still responding to cold and was basically a partially done root canal that is causing problems, and could be cracked at this point. I am taking this to LARA and I have already taken it to the MDA and I want to do more than that. I will take this as far as I can for the suffering he has caused me and the horrific feelings and thoughts running through my mind. He doesn't care about you. He's in this for the money and nothing else. I wish I could make it so he never touched another patient ever again. They ignored me when I called, refusing to call me back, and hanging up on me. One of the most unprofessional offices I have ever encountered and one of the cruelest doctors I have ever seen. Because I was struggling, that's how he chose to treat me. Like I wasn't worthy of care.

At the next appointment, that I had gone into thinking I was just having a normal filling appointment, they told me while I was sitting in the chair that they may have to do a root canal on the tooth that they were filling a cavity, but they wouldn't know until they were inside my tooth. They were essentially telling me that my $200 appointment (I did not have dental insurance) could possibly turn into a $3,000 appointment, but they won't know until they are already doing the procedure. I know people who have gotten root canals, and I know that you can tell beforehand if you need one or not. I'm only giving 2 stars because once the hygienist realized I was internally freaking out, she told me that maybe I should just think about it and come back another time. Thanks to her I did not have an unnecessary root canal. I have been to a different dentist several times since then and the word root canal has not once been said to me since.

The dental association gave me a little check but that didn't cover the major mistakes that the doctors from Grandville Dental made. I was fooled by all several fake stock photos that was used on their Facebook and their Incentivized google reviews. I though this office was able to perform a full mouth restoration of all porcelain teeth but I couldn't be any more wrong. This company keeps suppressing honest truthful reviews. Why would yelp hide a basic review that doesn't break guidelines. Maybe they are paying yelp of something I dunno but its confusing and hard to trust any Yelp reviews when I know they are allowing this company to wrongfully flag reviews and have them removed for no reason other than the owner of the company simply doesn't like it, that shouldn't be justification to have a review removed.

Update: I have been receiving services from Grandville Dental now for two years. The facility has…read morebeen clean everytime I have arrived, I am greeted kindly, I make sure to ask if money will be due to avoid any issues at check out, and things have been going much better.
