The people at Excel Propane treated me with complete professionalism, but with a Home-Town feel. There were several obstacles to overcome getting Propane to my house, which included an old tank and many buried lines to appliances which were no longer used. Excel came up with a great solution. They relocated my 1000 gallon propane tank to the back of the house. Then worked closely with Bel-Aire HVAC of Portage to run new lines from the tank to the new house Regulator and also to the Generac generator, while Bel-Aire ran new pipe inside the house to all three appliances. The result is peace-of-mind knowing we have All New Lines from the tank, into the house, and new pipes inside going to the appliances. My thanx and gratitude go out to all the people who make Excel Propane a great company to work with. Excel Propane is at the Top of their industry, and has no equal.

With no identification on the tank, serial number illegible, we went with our current supplier. Signing wavers to allow them to use this tank and having it repaired, we started using it with a great company. Again, over a year later, I came home to find a tag from Alto Propane on my door stating the tank was illegally tampered with and we removed the stickers so therefore service was disabled. They disabled the home and it could have created a serious situation for one with poor health per se. I will NEVER recommend any company that demonstrates such ignorant calloused standards. Even Consumers Energy will provide notices and even financial help to people in need before discontinuing a life dependent service.

I have never had more peace of mind going into a winter. I was with a company for many years and…read morethen when I would call to get my propane filled my calls were routed to Kansas. Then I was told that they don't have enough trucks to deliver so it would be up to a week and a half for my delivery. When my tank was getting low I knew I needed to make a change. Change is never fun and I didn't have a cell phone or land line but I used messenger. I had to do it and I sent a message to Scotland and Jake Garcia was sending me a message in less than two minutes!! From the beginning I felt like a family member and have never been more happy to have made the switch!! Jake took care of everything and when I gave him the information about who I was switching from he told me I was paying $2.79 for a gallon of propane...I thought that was the going price...I was being taken for a ride and didn't even know it. My first fill with Scotland was $1.59 and locked in thru April 2025 at $1.79. That means I'm saving the price of a tank of propane this winter!!! How could I not be excited!!! Jake...you are the best and your company should be proud to have you on their team and I'm greeted with an amazing smile and hug every time I see him!! He comes to our church in Hope every month and helps us hand out food to over 500 people every month,never lets our women workers do the lifting,everyone asks me is Jake coming and the answer is always YES! Weeks went by, I filled out the online…read morepaperwork twice, and then my tank ran out. it was 55 degrees in my house. they finally came and filled it. prices are very high compared to other companies so I decided to switch companies. You CANNOT get ahold of a person, so I wrote emails and basically they told me they couldn't help over email. when I finally got a person, they said 4-6 weeks for picking up my tank and the tank sat on my property for about 5 months. I was only able to communicate through their Facebook messenger. Terrible customer service, terrible online service, terrible prices. Basically not a good company for propane services. Crystal flash is amazing though!
