I took videos first day and turned on the move in paper (that somehow now has mysteriously vanished now that I've moved out and they're trying to charge me for an obviously old stove). On top of them forcing me to pay for a ESA animal (iam a 100% disabled vet) because I informed them that the 3rd party screeners wanted a ROI (release of information) to approve it and nobody in their right mind would agree to that if they knew what that actually means. When I informed them they basically told me they knew it was illegal but oh well if I don't do it I'll automatically be denied so I was forced to pay a $400 non refundable fee and a $250 refundable fee and $20 a month for my ESA (money hungry right). I always paid my rent on time and never had any issues or complaints. Upon moving out I asked to do a walk through with them and they refused and sent out a email saying "it will take 2 weeks to get to the apartment because of a high influx of people moving out" (hmmmm) I moved out on the 26th they did a walk though on the before or on July 2nd. I didn't get a email till July 11th stating that I'd be getting a portion of the security deposit but minus $410 to replace a glass top stove (I remind you was not new or even "like new" THERE WERE ROACHES LIVING IN IT that I reported even have video of) nothing was wrong with the stove outside of normal wear and tear but they had already purchased the top and charged me. So when I asked if I can come look at the damage they claimed the job had already been done but the part had not even reached them (i was able to obtain the tracking number for it) PLEASE do not trust these crooks and don't live somewhere that would force you to live with roaches then charge you for the inconvenience.

It's clear that management has no interest in addressing basic maintenance issues or providing a decent living experience for their tenants. On top of that, the property feels completely unsafe. Packages were frequently stolen, cars were broken into, and I even heard of motorcycles being stolen right off the property. The lack of security is alarming. If you're considering moving here, I strongly urge you to think twice. Between the lack of basic utilities, unresponsive management, and the constant feeling of insecurity, this place is not worth it. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. The construction of the units is great, and noise from neighbors above, below, and around us has not been an issue as it can be with some newer units made of thin walls. People park in your paid spot and no one enforce the rule to make them move out of your spot. Mostly Middle East residence and there is dozens of people in the same apartments. They make the garage into a sleeping area. They park in handicap so the handicap has no where to park. I've lived at AMLI Grapevine for over 4 years. It's always been great for maintenance response…read moretimes, and overall, the place is kept clean. However, compared to when I first moved in, there has been a noticeable decline. Management isn't as good as it was previously. We used to have monthly resident events, and now we are lucky if they are once a quarter, and it's always the same food and drinks. The management made some key mistakes that greatly impacted the resident experience. They got rid of most of the pool lounge cushions before ordering new ones, ordered the wrong ones, and now it is the end of June, and we haven't had pool cushions all summer. Management also does things like schedule a bug-spraying on a holiday weekend in the summer around the pool, which means the pool was closed on a Saturday in June. This seems like something that could have been handled on a weekday. As someone on the first floor, I also find it inconvenient that I pay more rent than the apartments above me, yet when they hired window cleaners for the exterior, they did not clean the first-floor windows. My windows haven't been cleaned in 4 years, so I had to do it myself with Windex and two rolls of paper towel (who owns a squeegee and bucket in a one-bedroom apartment. I still couldn't reach the top of some of the windows either, since I also don't keep a ladder in my one-bedroom apartment. The TVs in the club room no longer have sound, and they pay for fewer channels than previously, so now none of the residents hang out in there anymore. They also have a fireplace in the club room, but you can no longer turn it on. It seems that, given the higher-than-average rent in the area, we are not getting much less than we used to, and I no longer think it is worth the extra cost. I used to really say how much I loved living here, but I'm underwhelmed now.
