It's not crowded and very quick for check out. There are a variety of items that they also sell in the main store. Yay! Trader Joe's Pronto, offering a more limited ready-to-consume or ready-to-heat-up selection, perfectly reasonably priced, that you can quickly pick up and get going! When I arrived, (which may be rare,) it was completely empty! I walked over to first grab a drink and saw the refrigerated, fair priced, individual 48 cent 12 Oz. cans of Sparkling Water. Talking to the TJ team member stocking the shelf, we discussed the two unique flavors (which my FOMO made me try both) Blueberry Lemonade and Winter Sangria Sparkling Waters. (Note - Winter Sangria has no alcohol... it's naturally flavored, carbonated water.) After a few minutes, a few more customers entered. While scanning the rest of the stores shelves, noted Turkish Inspired Stuffed Eggplants, which I'll pick up from my own full TJ's in Harlem. Their reasonably priced gourmet sandwich set was where I found the "eats" portion of my shopping - TJ's Turkey Apple Chedder Sandwich, with Baby Arugula and Dijon Mayo on a Multigrain Roll. The people there are friendly and nice and some have been working for years. I can always count on them to be open because they're open for 24 hours.

Ended up getting a peeler gadget for my salad, snacks and the rose hand cream. It smelled so good that I couldnt' resist to put it back on the shelf. Overall, very please to see them in midtown. They also have prepared food as well so if you're looking to grab, go and eat, it's perfect esp when they are close by to Bryant Park where there are plenty of tables to sit down, eat and enjoy.

You'll see 99 cent Fresh Foods or something on it, and you'll think it's a 99 cent store. It is a 99 cent store, but most things are at least 1.29 or more. They have a ton of household goods here and your typical dollar store items. They're actually pretty good quality for what you're paying. I paid $3 for a 6 sided cheese grater that easily would have cost 20 bucks at Target. I would even have to say the quality of the stuff here beats Jack's 99 Cent store hands down, however almost nothing here is 99 cents. I'd gladly pay the extra 25 cents or more to make up for the quality and have a better selection.

There are scales for you to weigh your containers, and containers available to purchase if you don't have any- such as jars, glassware, bags and stashables. They provide stickers, tapes and pens and allow you to freely refill to your heart's content. They have snacks, oils, herbs and spices, coffee, and home and cleaning products. Their fresh produce is a plus too with eggs, milk and other things provided by local vendors. There were even pickles, different varieties of mushrooms, coconut yogurt, vegan mozzarella and butter. I was so pleased to be able to refill my olive oil and white vinegar, along with grabbing some wasabi peas and popcorn snacks along with pinenuts! The staff is super friendly, and the owner Lara is naturally French and a huge advocate for sustainability and food. They are open to suggestions and feedback, and are actively looking to add more to their assortment. It's worth supporting businesses like this, and I will be proudly returning for more!

I spent a total of $95 dollars. Mostly dry pantry goods that have a long shelf life. I also pretty much only cook for one, so my haul will last me for probably the majority of the year. A lot of people see the price per pound on some items, and freak. Black peppercorns for example, are 30-ish a lb, but nobody is buying that much. I got a giant refill for seven bucks. My most expensive buy was olive oil-I refilled a giant container that came to 25 bucks. However, it's quality oil, it'll last me most of the year, and it's a giant bottle. If you ask me, the investment is one THOUSAND percent worth it. Try it. If you're concerned of about cost, you can bring small containers/Tupperware and sample a few choice things. I'm a fan. Big Cheers is a small shop, parked on Broome Street. the store is filled with mostly UK snacks…read moreneatly arranged on shelves along with a refrigerated unit filled with soft drinks. while the shop is limited in size, there's still a nice variety of salty savory bags of chips and other snacks as well as chocolates and candy from Tim Tams, Cadbury chocolates, Aeros, and gummy candies. prices on items are on the higher side but everything here is imported from abroad. while the store isn't cramped...it's would feel that way if 6 or more people were shopping. luckily, i was here when there wasn't a lot of foot traffic. the service was helpful and nice. and ended up picking up a bunch off items for a gift of sorts. if you are missing British snack foods, this might become your new haunt.

My mission: forbidden rice (black rice that has a nice nutty taste and is more healthy than white). I also saw red rice for cholesterol, which apparently works similar to a statin. There were many congee packets, beans, nuts, herbs, spice, noodles, sweets, the usual. There are very few price stickers on the merchandise, though. Decent prices.
