I enjoyed the exceptionally friendly service and the helpful staff. Seems like everyone working there was indeed happy to be there. The one constructive piece of criticism I would give would be in reference to the fitting rooms. The doors are saloon style, don't really close securely and are right off the main store floor. So, there really isn't a sense of privacy, and I felt like anyone shopping who might happen to look in just the right direction might actually be able to see me in the changing room if they wanted. Other than that, it's a great little shop with a large variety of unique and local clothing and wares. I highly recommend stopping in and giving them all your time and money.

I wanted to buy my daughter a nesting doll (matryoshka), and they had soooo many to choose from. I found her one on a sale rack. I also got myself a beautiful cross from Russia to add to my collection of crosses. I am kicking myself, however, for not getting the fur hat. They had several and they cost about $75-85 bucks, but would have been such a cool souvenir to have during the winter time here. Even though it doesn't get THAT cold in Paso Robles, they looked really fun. I won't pass up the opportunity next time! Save your shopping dollars in Alaska for this place. Really cool stuff.

People will tell you to bring an umbrella to Alaska. No, you should really just bring a really good waterproof hoody coat. It was bulky, but it protected me from the elements. It's just too windy for an umbrella. Anyway, I thought about trying the spruce tip latte. I ended up getting a Dirty Chai. It was very good. I didn't get to try my husband's Mexi-Mocha with cayenne pepper. He really liked the flavors. He's never had a spicy latte, so it was a real treat for him. The shop has some moose chocolate treats, gifts, flowers, and unique gift items. It was my first time seeing Alaskan sea otter fur earrings. An Alaska native artist makes them. The flowers that they sell here look fresh and beautiful. It's very close to the public library and Harrigan Centennial Hall. It was the perfect stop before getting on the bus back to the Sitka Sound Cruise Terminal. It's also a great stopping point after visiting the Baranof Castle State Historic Site on a cold day. They are cash-only, but there's an ATM conveniently located inside. They also have a huge retail section with lots of unique and interesting gifts, and it's a really neat place to browse. We were very happy with our flower purchase, and they even offer a shuttle to and from downtown. Overall, we highly recommend this dispensary, especially if you're looking for great products and unique gifts.
