You just have to have patience and be kind to people while waiting in line. Several people on here claimed they waited in line for 45mins and the employees were rude....Lol....I only waited for 10 - 15 minutes each time. Time flies fast when you are talking with people next to you. The employees were very helpful and nice. One of the cashiers gave me a free small ceramic Christmas tree set because the tip was broken. I guarantee the people who are complaining are liberals and don't like Hobby Lobby because they are Conservative and Trump supporters....,Lol

However, the customer service I received from Carina, the cashier, was so herrendous that I will not be returning. The 1st incident... I stood next to my mom with my shopping cart as we were discussing other items I needed to purchase from another nearby store. Right before I could finish my sentence, Carina LOUDLY said, "Ma'am, we only have one line so please get behind her." I mentioned we were together and she ignored me. 2nd incident... While I was shopping, I found a toy in the clearance section that I wanted to buy for my Special Education class that would have been a GREAT non-edible reinforcer. When I told her I got it from the clearance section, but it didn't have a tag... Right away her response was, "Well another customer put it there." I responded with, "Well there were about 3 or 4 of the same toy in the clearance section. So, if it isn't clearance I don't want it." She told me she'd check. She called someone and hung up and said, "Like I said it isn't clearance and someone put it there." I let her know again, "Then I don't want it." As she finished ringing me up, I asked, "Do you have a teachers discount?". Very rudely, she said you need a teachers card. So, as I reached for my ID badge and said, "Like my ID?" She rudely said, "No, a teacher debit card." I explained to her that wasn't a thing and the majority of school district uses PO's. She completely rubbed me the wrong way from when I first got in line until I left. Tried to see if I could contact Hobby Lobby, but they only take phone calls or you can physically write a letter. Maybe you should have a survey on your receipt, so Ya'll know how your employees are treating customers. The people stocking the store were much more helpful and cheerful than she was. Maybe Carina should be pulled for a bit, if she can't show GREAT customer service.

I've stopped in here multiple times to poke around and each time I've said hello to the woman working behind the counter and she's ignored me. Fine, maybe she's had a bad day or didn't hear me...but she watched me intently as I walked around. I made eye contact with her, smiled and said "hi" and she ignored me and looked down. Now I don't think I looked like a shoplifter and in fact I'd be right in her target market since I'm very much into kitschy vintage home decor, but I won't be visiting or buying anything from this place because the employees can't be bothered to be decent to the customers. I'd much rather go to any of the downtown antique stores where the customer service is friendly and helpful and the items are more reasonably priced. 2* because their stuff is cute but attitude is unfortunate.

I want to start off this review by saying I am a lifelong resident of the Turlock area and have…read morebeen a Woods Furniture Customer for most of my adult life. Now, A few years back my wife and I were saddened by the possibility of Woods Furniture closing as they had all kinds of "going out of business" and "Retirement" banners around their store. We needed a new living room set so we stopped in. Come to find out it was one of the brothers who was "retiring" and "going out of business", nonetheless we purchased a very nice, very pricy sectional for our living room. This transaction and subsequent delivery/setup went well. The beginning of October, my recliner, which was also a Woods purchase, was not working out for me, so I went in to purchase another. After much consideration, I special ordered a recliner. Due to the current outbreak, the order would not be here for 4-6 weeks. In late October, my wife decides to replace the bedroom furniture and we go to, of course, Woods. Again, nothing is in stock and we order what the wife selected. 2-4 weeks we were told. November 14, 2020 my wife had spent over three hours back and forth on the phone with Woods to get a status on our orders. She was told the bedroom furniture was ready and they had pulled pieces from other orders to get it ready for us. I was not happy with that since someone else would be left waiting, possibly longer than we have been. We were also told the manufacturer of the recliner (Flexsteel) did not have the material in stock to cover the recliner and had no idea when it would be in stock. At this point we were at the 6 week mark on the recliner order and WE had to call to get a status. Before, communications were always top notch and we were notified of any delays. We decided to cancel both orders and get a refund and I won't get into how that went. Long story short, I went to another long time furniture store in Hughson and bought a recliner, which was a match to what I had ordered at Woods, but at half the cost. We went to a newer furniture store in Downtown Turlock and found similar bedroom furniture for cheaper too. Needless to say, I won't be back to Woods Furniture. Just a different, bad vibe and absolutely zero customer service after the purchase.
