My husband and I bought a pre-owned Malibu boat at Grandpa's and had a great experience. Mike took us out on the water for a test drive. He was extremely knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with us to make sure we knew about all the features on the boat and even gave us his cell to reach him anytime we're out on the water and have questions. Mike was great to work with throughout the buying process. I wouldn't hesitate to send anyone to him for a new or pre-owned boat purchase. The store is nice and they also have lots of wake surfers, wakeboards, and everything you need to have fun in the water. It's worth a visit if you are gearing up for the summer. read more

Dropped off my boat with my wife on Saturday. During the introduction I shared with the service guy this was our first trip into this dealership for service. We discussed this even further because we were not in the system as a previous client. We were told they would check the boat out and call us with an estimate. We received a written document that listed absolutely no charges. There also was no notice on the page or in the store of a charge to diagnose the trailer light issue. They called me with and estimate 2 days later of $200.00. which is interesting because these were very expensive led tail lights that worked and were less than 1 year old. The bracket had broken off and broken the wiring circuit. We were told that we needed new lights now. I told them to put it back together and I would pick it up. They then said there was a charge to assess the issue. This is a normal fee except when it is not discussed or agreed to in advance. No amount was given. In fact they told me to wait for them to call me back. 5 days later I called and they said just come and pay the fee and I could have m boat. After a heated conversation they said the fee is only 54.00 for a half an hour of labor. So their labor is $108.00 an hour? I refused and told them to contact my family attorney. They then said to just pick up the boat and promise not to bring it back to them. I will not be back and I urge you to look elsewhere for service. I only tried them because their hours were convenient and location. Rip off ALERT. GO elsewhere. read more

IF I COULD GIVE THEM A ZERO I WOULD!!!!!! My father purchased a sea ray from Grandpas in February. They told him that the boat ran fine and there weren't any issues. Based on THEIR word because it would not be "good business" for them to sell a boat that isn't running properly my father made the purchase. Took the boat to their home at SML, VA only to find THEY LIED. Couldn't get it started. Took it to his mechanic. Dead battery, bad starter and bad manifolds on both sides and risers that are leaking and the mechanic can see this has overheated before. All my father was asking was to split the cost. They want to get the boat and have their mechanic fix it. Your mechanic let the boat go in the condition it's in!! How can he trust them now!!? So either they lied to my father and my mothers faces OR their mechanic is CLUELESS. Either way, SHADY AND BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!' read more

Our home was tidy, but our previous (nationally franchised) maid service seemed to be getting less thorough with each session so the deep clean gave us peace of mind and a great reset. Lucy was wonderful with scheduling us for a time that worked for my family, and we appreciated her flexibility! Yesterday was our deep clean and OH BOY did her team go above and beyond. Lucy and her associate arrived on-time, fully stocked with cleaning products, and great spirits. They spent over five hours in my home scrubbing things until they sparkled. They cleaned items never touched by my old service including ceiling fans and under the couches. Additionally, they were able to remove stains on my walls that I had given up on. The kitchen and 2 1/2 bathrooms have never looked better! Sinks and appliances look brand new despite being almost ten years old. I bought used jet ski from them during boat show in March, did not get to put in water until May. Had problems immediately, thought bad battery or starter, after checking discovered major issue with engine. Called them up they said consignment sale and they would help all they could. Took ski back to them they kept 10 weeks, never looked at it, would not return my phone calls. Had my wife call them on her cell phone and leave message wanting information for new boat, they called within five minutes. I answered the phone and they were so surprised, had not had time to call, major BS. I did not want a free ride, but they did sell a product that would not function as it should, they misrepresented the jet ski claimed they didn't know anything was wrong with it and then jerked me around 10 weeks. I did take to another repair shop, pump and bearings were blown - something that happens over period of time, according to tech working on it. BUYERS BEWARE WORST THAN ANY USED CAR SALESMAN I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH - THERE IS EXPECTATION OF REASONABLE PERFORMANCE OF ANY PRODUCT YOU BUY- IF YOU BUY FROM THESE GUYS YOU MAY WIND UP WITH BIG HOLES IN YOUR POCKETS -I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE TO GO ANY OTHER PLACE BUT THIS ONE. read more
