We had a full kitchen with oven/range, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, etc. Situated in the heart of Faribault's historic downtown, with it's beautiful old 1880's to early 1900's buildings along Central Avenue, it's within easy walking distance to an eclectic mix of shops and restaurants and several miles away from the Walmart and the ugly strip malls. You definitely want to reserve in advance as there are limited suites, only four or five, and the price is very reasonable, so I imagine they go quickly.

Immediately the kitchen manager came up and told us we weren't to do that. We had asked previously and had the go ahead. Not a problem. Miscommunication. We said the lights could go back on and this was the response, "You turned them down, you can down them back up". 2) Bar refused to open before the ceremony had begun for fear of, "people clinking their glasses". WTF?! Rude, intolerable behavior on a day that should of been a celebration. Potential brides: Look elsewhere.

The space is updated, and a number of people mentioned how nicely it was decorated. There is street parking all around, and a couple of lots further down the street. FYI: As with other rental spaces, there is a list of items that you can't use in the space - candles, confetti, etc . . ., but they have it all listed on the website under the FAQs, so you know upfront what you are getting into. Also, you have to clean the space when you are finished using it, not a big deal, just make sure you factor that into the rental time. If I were in need of this kind of space again, I would definitely use this space again.

Next you'll want to pick a nice spot to have dinner, it's all first come first serve so make sure you're on time. They have plenty of open grassy areas or a covered patio above the bar. They have multiple options for pizza and even have their liquor license now if you're in the mood. Plenty of room for the kids to play and you can stay as long as you want after you order. He also gave us a wood ring that we could fill up with any lavender and this was included in the price we paid beforehand. When we went there was tall and short lavender plants (the names are escaping me) and a white lavender which was unique! It was extremely hot but we enjoyed taking in the smells of the lavender and admiring all the busy bees. There is a cute shop onsite with different things made from the lavender grown just feet away!
