The space is updated, and a number of people mentioned how nicely it was decorated. There is street parking all around, and a couple of lots further down the street. FYI: As with other rental spaces, there is a list of items that you can't use in the space - candles, confetti, etc . . ., but they have it all listed on the website under the FAQs, so you know upfront what you are getting into. Also, you have to clean the space when you are finished using it, not a big deal, just make sure you factor that into the rental time. If I were in need of this kind of space again, I would definitely use this space again.

I can no longer eat dairy and they were super responsive to my needs. The food is incredible!! Dairy free chicken pot pie-what?!? Yes please!! The rooms are comfortable and the grounds are beautiful. I always find a new path, or swing or something. Additionally I could sit and watch the birds all day! The cardinals and big blue jay and woodpecker and the list goes on and on. The birds flock to the feeders and I could sit and watch them all day. The also have a pool, hot tub and sauna which are a real treat! It is also conveniently located to the Minneapolis and a super easy drive. I'm looking forward to going back in the winter!

Chris (yes, we call him Chris now) is a fantastic DJ and a great guy. We were planning our wedding from the East Coast and had two meetings with Chris (one over the phone and the other on Skype). He came to our reception venue the day before the wedding, in order to see the facilities ahead of time (since he hadn't done a reception at our venue) and he was set up way ahead of time our guests arrived. Chris is ultra organized. And, he answers all your questions before you even realize it! He has an 11-page packet where he dives into everything: do you want a bouquet toss? are there family sensitivities? songs you don't want me to play? games you do want to play? All those questions are covered in the packet, and he goes through them with you a month before the wedding. He keeps the reception moving, and watches the clock so you don't have to. Chris made sure he had all our "must play" songs-- and even downloaded one our groomsman requested right there. We've heard horror stories of awful DJs. From what they wear to how they act. Chris couldn't have been more professional. (He was even in a tie, despite the fact he had to set-up and take-down his equipment.) If you're planning a wedding- or any other event that requires a DJ- give Chris a call. He'll reply promptly, and he is a joy to work with. We cannot recommend him enough.

We are members of the Cannon falls Winery and they have grape picking events in the fall. I have…read morenot gone to one but plan on it this year. This latest wine pick-up party was held at their vineyard. They bused us all over to the vineyard from the winery, they had 3 buses going to and fro. Mask were required. They signed people in outside with a line that had social distancing, which was appreciated. They didn't cram the buses full and left plenty of seats open for distancing. This was our first time seeing the vineyard and it was in a nice location, not far from the winery. They let us walk around and see the grapes, they were just turning from green to purple so they were a bit tart. They had Nick's Diner cater food in for this event. It was walking tacos and they also had some wine tasting out there for the club members. We had the option of buying a bottle of wine at the Winery before being bused out there, so that is what we did. The walking tacos was the best food set-up so far since we have been members. They had the event out here to have more space to social distance. We enjoyed ourselves and signed up for the wine picking this year! I hear it is a good time! They also have events out here. Now I…read morewonder what all those bouquets to my sister looked like since I was able to see them in person at her funeral this week. The spray that cost $200. was sparse and some of the flowers were wilted on the day of delivery. I wish I would have taken a picture. I was so disappointed and embarrassed. Others also commented on the sad shape the bouquets were. I contacted the shop immediately thinking they might send someone to fix things but all I got was an apology note. Bloom has lost my business forever. Think twice before you order from them.
