After waiting a few minutes the operator and another employee came in saying that BCBS Medicare insurance wasn't going to approve the scan for today. I would have to reschedule. What about my copay? The woman said they could hold it until the rescheduled date or they would refund it. I got angry and frustrated with this situation and blew up at the young woman. I am very sorry that I did that to her and I'm not happy with my conduct toward her. I simply didn't tell her this is the 3rd time in the last month I've been rescheduled. I want the scan done in a timely way. The last scan 7 months ago revealed a mass and my doctor ordered the scans to be done every 6 months. We're behind. I took the young lady's advice and rescheduled for November 5. I didn't ask for the copay refund. The young lady offered to handle the reschedule but in my anger I wouldn't let her. I called Chattanooga imaging after I cooled down. Patient's need to have patience.

The counselors, techs, and nurses met us where we were and gave us the support they need. My counselor was very beneficial to me, I wish I could see them now after leaving the facility. I always felt safe with the nurses and the techs; when I would report a concern about a med, etc. to a nurse they were receptive and listened. Admissions team was really helpful and answered all of my questions. I can't say enough good things about this place. It changed my life.

The wait times are abhorrent so when we have an appointment here we have to take our kid out of school for the whole day even scheduling first thing. Update: I spoke with someone at the center was assure things would be better. I do not have a problem with the wait times as each surgery is special and can have complications. As a reminder the drs are doing delicate procedures so they do get behind but wouldn't you rather they are slow and precise rather than fast and possibly make a mistake?

She copied information from intake form over 1 and a half hours previous-approximately 8am it was now 9:20+/-. She never checked my BP, nothing. In procedure room i couldn't move anything but my right arm to shoulder while she kept harping "we need you to roll onto table". I couldn't. Imagine hurting so excruciatingly bad that all you could move was one arm and no one would help you. Finally one nurse offered her hand and I face planted on the table to which Amy Klhaun pulled my head up by my forehead and shoved a rolled up pillow under my throat! It took everything I could muster to raise my head enough to remove the pillow from my throat. I'll never go back. Her name is Amy Kleahn anesthesiologist for Chattanooga Pain Surgery Center, not Klhaun.
