I booked the free three-day trial online, but when I arrived I was told I needed a local ID--a requirement I never confirmed during booking. As a result, I was denied both the trial and a week pass and offered only a $20 day pass. To make matters worse, this location doesn't even provide towels for the showers. It's hard to justify the pricing when the amenities don't match. By contrast, The Athletic Cos (Italian Village) offered a free one-day trial and a week pass for $35, making the experience far more welcoming and reasonably priced.

READ: - the best part about this gym are the huge windows,…read morethere's a lot of great natural light. There's also a million treadmills......so many.... - A lack of equipment which was made worse when they took away their first floor stretch/focus room and replaced it with personal training only. This not only took away extra lower extremity equipment which can already be hard to come by on floor 2, but now I have no place to do a quiet work out. The dim lighting was great. -They do not have enough benches. Barring floor 1 off now means 3 less benches. - I'm still paying the same monthly price for 1 less floor of equipment. Shrinkflation? Idk, I just want my space back - plus it takes like 2 months to fix equipment.

Upon entering the dojo my stoke dropped a substanch amount as I realized this gym was mainly for weenies who like climbing rope and doing sit ups. With this being more of an upset than Woodstock 89' , I was fairly bummed. However I began to drift towards the dark side as I often found myself peeking into the CrossFit side of the gym as my curiosity grew... Taboo, I know. After a turn of events, my stoke-meter began to rise as I slowly started to use some chalk and utilize my shirt as my own personal sweat towel. Not after long I caught myself jogging on the treadmill with a weighted vest, while listening to some Toby Kieth and Jimmy Buffet. This dojo soon became my own personal Margaritaville. Since my initiation I have became severely addicted to ankle socks and completing the Workout of the Day. I totally recommend this place to anyone who wants to voyage to the dark side of the moon.

Grandview Barbell's 24-hour access allows me to workout when I have time, whether it's at 7AM or 9PM. The gym has everything I need to get a great workout in. I typically work on snatch or cleans on the lifting platform and do jerks with the awesome jerk blocks. Other equipment I typically use at the gym includes rowers, squat racks, kettlebells, and pull-up bars. I highly recommend this gym!

I think they are $7 as a drop it, and it is a full hour of fun dancing and moving. It is truly a workout, and though there are many regulars who know all the moves, there are plenty of people who are there for the first time and just follow the instructor and everyone else. The space is really nice and the people there were all extremely friendly!

I cannot tell you how much I love this gym. First - let me extol the virtues of my pt Dustin Kelch…read more Dustin is a fabulous trainer - super thoughtful, smart, creative! I came to him with knee problems and some other strain that previous trainers seemed to ignore. Since working with Dustin I haven't had a single knee flare up, and my legs are a lot stronger! Plus my overall fitness has quite improved and Dustin has helped me with my overall wellness. But Dustin (and the other staff who are friendly and totally awesome) aside - I really love this place because it's diverse. A typical morning includes new parents with their kids in car carriers, older women lifting weights and practicing balance, boxers, marathoners, teens, even kids with special needs. Everyone fits in here. The place is basic but totally efficient and has better equipment than the rpac at Osu. The sweat box is fantastic and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It's a true place of wellness.
