Unsanitary Bathrooms: There is consistently standing water on the bathroom floor, which is both gross and a slipping hazard. Zero Visible Maintenance: I have yet to see a single maintenance staff member wiping down or sanitizing machines on the workout floor. The equipment isn't top-tier, but nobody is expecting a elite university recreation center, so the machines themselves are fine. The core problem here is basic cleanliness. You would expect management and corporate leadership to take far more pride in how their business is run and maintained for paying members.

Not after long I caught myself jogging on the treadmill with a weighted vest, while listening to some Toby Kieth and Jimmy Buffet. This dojo soon became my own personal Margaritaville. It's got a nice room to warm up in with large mirrors and dumbbells as well as a cardio area and the weights area. They have a small amount of machines (only 1 of each thing) and they don't have every type of machine so you may need to revise some of your workouts to fit what they do have. The locker room was really nice with big mirrors and showers and lockers that already had locks on them. They also offer hair ties and cotton balls at the vanity if you need them. My main issue was that the gym was kinda dirty at times. There were two days specifically where it looked like someone had a nose bleed and it just was not cleaned for two days. Same with the floor always had hair and dust balls. It's also pretty expensive. I don't live in these apartments so it was 65 a month. Which for me, the gym did not justify that amount. I will say in the summer you get access to the pool that is really nice but always pretty crowded.

Solid gym. They have a new flagship location called the armory a few miles up the road. This review…read moreserves for both. GPF is 24/7 and has plenty of equipment, just about everything you need. Really nice in the warmer months as they open up the garage doors and air the place out. Can get crowded though in the late afternoon/ early evening (like most gyms) especially with space being a little tight. Cost is 60 a month plus initiation. The armory is a much larger facility and literally has every piece of lifting and cardio equipment possible. Is not open 24/7 but is from 6am to 10 pm most days. Staff has always been quite friendly. Cost for this place is 100 a month which also gives you access to GPF. This was one of the main reasons I left as the cost was prohibitive for my friends to join. They opened this facility about a year ago so I was grandfathered with my GPF membership. Another thing to note is in terms of facilities they had been open about 9 months when I left and at that time didn't have locker rooms and as fast as I knew no plans for when they would open (but they did prioritize opening other more expensive training areas). As of when I left, they had 2 bathrooms to share with the entire weight floor and the basketball court. The armory does have a basketball court but they share it with a grade school as well as several other groups so there is virtually no open court time regardless of the time of year. Big downside of the armory is that to access any of the nice recovery equipment (massage guns, cold tubs, etc), you have to be a shield member which is 195 a month plus initiation. That price point is frankly excessive in my opinion. Both gyms are pretty serious lifting gyms, so if that is the vibe you are wanting then this is definitely your spot. Probably less suited to the more casual lifters (like me). Certainly not a bad thing, more just an FYI. All that being said, solid facility, great place to lift if you are willing to pay for it.
