    Fire pit on the patio!

We have stayed here several times and always had a fantastic stay. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Our first tow stays were in the 1000 trails side and this last time was on the KOA side with a patio spot. We will absolutely be back many times!

Kim, Lynn and Brice really worked as a team and helped make this an enjoyable stay. To me, the biggest amenity is kindness and welcoming and they provided this in tenfold. I will always recommend this KOA! Thank you for good home hospitality :)

We had a great group event at Grandy Creek, and I'm just sad that adults aren't allowed on the jumping pillow!

Wow! We've been wanting to try this literally brand new RV park recently added by the Port of…read moreAnacortes, and we weren't disappointed. Featuring 25 full hookup sites, each professionally landscaped and with its own picnic table, the sites here are large, level, and you don't feel like you're right on top of your neighbors. Most of the sites were back-in, but there are a few pull-through sites too. The on-site bathroom is not only one of the nicest campground restrooms I've ever visited, it's one the nicest restrooms I've ever visited in general. There's also a small coin-op laundry area, utility sink, and even a water bottle filling area inside. The park was clean and quiet during our two night visit. It's also just a few minutes walk (or a level bike ride) to several restaurants and grocery stores. We will definitely be adding this to our regular weekend getaway rotation! I definitely recommend getting a reservation, as the park appeared completely full this weekend.

We stayed for three (3) nights and every night we wanted to stream something and relax but it was so frustrating that we just gave up. This place needs to update their band width or research what the exact problem is. After a nice long day of enjoying everything this RV park has to offer, one wants to relax and chill by streaming a program or movie, but this internet makes it impossible.

The tent sites are all clustered along a busy internal road where cars often drove quickly, even late at night. In a canvas tent, that's a lot of noise. There's also just not much between you and the road, which made us uneasy. We were advised to move sites because of possible septic runoff, and did relocate, which helped, but the traffic remained the biggest issue. Sleep was also tough between that, a 5 AM rooster, and coyotes chiming in with ambulance sirens. That said, the staff were excellent, kind, hard-working, and clearly stretched thin. My comments aren't about their effort. The bathrooms were consistently clean, though things like paper towels weren't always restocked, which again feels like a staffing level issue. The pool was clean and a highlight for my kids. We just wished the hours were longer. Ice and firewood on site were convenient, and the sense of community was real. The mini-golf is a fun idea, but it's in rough shape, with broken wood on some holes that stops the ball from getting through. Overall, there's a lot of heart here. If the tent sites were quieter and felt safer, and some amenities got much-needed repairs, we'd be back in a heartbeat. I sincerely hope that happens.

I'm sorry someone is vandalizing but I have a job and grown up things to worry about like the water leaking from my roof and the black mold I sleep with! Tomorrow I will work without shower. It was still overcast, but no rain can be a plus when out hiking. The entrance to the park is well marked and there is a parking lot for those who are at the park for day use like we were. After parking our car we set out to explore the trails down to the river and back. Informational signs spot the trail and provide background and helpful tidbits if you are on the look-out for wildlife or their tracks. The mosquitos were fiercest at the parking lot and a number of them bit me through my clothing. Coming back I'd wear more layers or insect repellent if trying not to get bit. The trail we walked ran along the Skagit River for a short bit then twisted through the woods and back to the parking lot. On the way out to the Skagit River we passed a clearing. The grass was tall in the clearing center, but around the edges the grass had been cut to provide a walking path if one so yearned. We encountered mostly birds on our visit in terms of wildlife. The park itself wasn't too busy when we arrived, but we started to see more people by the time we departed. Restrooms were clean and we maintained our social distance.

The Skagit River is emerald green and beautiful huge Firs and Cedar line the River and a nice path along the river also . Minuses Do not go Berry picking down the road as the natives are paranoid I was on the side of the road and ran off and threatened. When I complained to the Park Ranger He said @ that's just how they are here". Hmmmm scary right? The Bathroom curtain was black with Mold and dirt The Loggers come down and use the Showers and track mud. The 50 cent a minute shower gets you 3 minutes of hot water So I guess there are a lot of visitors . Beware The small store gouges Campers Example Marshmallows $5.00 a bag Dill Pickles $5.00 a jar The water You can buy a case at Walmart for $3.89 They are selling individually for 89 cents a bottle Beware. A lot of Families take the upper loop because there is a paved loop around the small area so the Kids are all in various skateboards electric scooters and rollers skates until 10:00 at night. The lower loop is a little more steep so less attractive. Update When We told The Park Ranger about " being Tired of putting Quarters in the shower machine and getting Cold water" they 2 Trucks showed up to fix it and told Me "the Free shower is on them" How quick n nice is that!
