A view of the rock climbing wall and water tower !

Wow! This place is LEED certified, which means it's a green building! Good job, Columbus! Tons of natural light in a lot of the spaces indoors, bathrooms are water efficient, and I'll bet they used certain materials to build this space. Lots of gray colors, some red, and a lot of wood. I came for a forum that hosted a bunch of health/healthcare leaders in Ohio and it was amazing just driving up here. So much green space and you've got a nice view of some of the skyline. Parking lot isn't huge but there's about 150 ish spots. A lady told me it's a great place to do some bird watching. I'm sold. I'll come back and perhaps bike around and take in the scenery next time! It's a calming place super close to downtown.

Beautiful view of the downtown skyline

Trick or Tweet event A fantastic, fun event for the little ones. The 2 hours went by so fast, it was a blast! There was an activity sheet that needed stamps from various stations and once completed you turned it in for a goodie bag. There was a costume parade where we marched around the nature center. Story time and singing by a man dressed up in a gorilla costume. Snack time with juice, cheese, chips, grapes, cookies. There was a craft station where the kids could ale a hand ghost. This was a wonderful event and we had so much fun. Thanks!!

Part of the metroparks at columbus. They have a play area indoors, library, some animals and it's an amazing place for birdwatching

I recently moved to the area and my friends and family know that I'm a little obsessed with plants…read more It makes total sense that the first place they took me when I got settled in was STUMP! Ok, I admit it. I geeked out a bit when I walked it. #Goals The layout is awesome! I parked around back and walked through their outdoor area first. When I eventually walked inside, it's like walking through a plant museum. Greenery everywhere! I was "oooing" and "ahhhhing" the entire time! The plant options are really unique too. While they have the basic succulents, they also have a large variety of plants that I wouldn't be able to name off hand. It's really fun to explore the options. If there is something you like, but you're not super savvy about, no worries. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about their inventory and they're always happy to give you advice on how to water your plants, where to place them based on light, etc. They really know what they're talking about. They also have really unique pots and planters all over the place! While they may seem a little pricy, its worth it knowing that they are all hand made. Their designs are typically minimalistic, very clean and simple. I love it! If you decide to hold off on purchasing a pot, don't fret! You can bring your own and they'll plant it for you. My first purchase was this adorable little asparagus fern. I also picked out one of their small white planters. They planted it for me while I was there and I gotta say -- it's quite cute. They even sent me home with a little card that included some facts about the fern. I can't wait to visit again!!

I cannot say enough good things about Stump. Between their plant selection and customer service,…read moreyou can't go wrong purchasing from them. Their knowledge is above par, they're patient, kind and willing to go the extra mile. They made my girlfriends Mother's Day really special because they located a hard to buy plant and secured it for me thus making it a great day! I really appreciate them going the extra mile! Thank you!
