My dog died at 10, I am so grateful for him…read morelasting that long but it is my strong opinion, and the opinion of the vet that tried to correct this botched surgery, that this fiasco shortened his life. He struggled so much to stay mobile, thankfully he was small and I could carry him. With that being said a chihuahuas life span is 12-15 years. Do not take your pet here, this vet should never be allowed around ANY animal.
