Without any question or hesitation, Granite Brothers is the absolute Worst company we have ever tried to do business with. They were so unprofessional, so insensitive, so difficult to even talk to after they got their money it just defies comprehension. They used substandard materials, they wouldn't return phone calls, they refused to honor their contract - it has been terribly frustrating and disappointing. I would not even recommend them to a worst enemy. My wife and I are nearing 70 years old. Although I do not use profanity I was cursed at. I was literally threatened with physical harm. I guess because of our age they tried to bully and intimidate me. I thought I was dealing with a crime family. I do not understand how they are allowed to stay in business but I did contact the BBB. I contacted Granite Brothers to have someone come and measure for a quartz tabletop. I was told a week in advance that someone would be able to come out to my house 10/21/22 @1000AM. After 15 min of no show I contacted their office number and I was told the measure guy was running late and that he would be there at 1130. At 1145, the guy who took my phone call, doesn't answer. Our initial impression was great. The first person who came and measured was personable and made good suggestions. We agreed to removing a pony wall, and they sent a construction crew out to remove the wall. The employees of that company were fun and nice. We were not advised that we were dealing with a separate company or that we had a choice in contractors. These were the " guys we use ". The contractors lost the burner covers to our range top, replaced them with generics that don't fit. The upsetting part is that we are left a hole in our wall. Three workers stood staring at this hole, not knowing what to do. They were laughing and joking that this was a typical Friday because the pony wall they had originally told us they planned to source the tile to patch the wall from was accidentally tossed out. The company offered to charge us for a new backsplash. We discussed this option, but decided that since the backsplash tile matches the tile that was used on our kitchen floor, dining, entryway, this wasn't a great solution. When i called to find out what we could do about the wall, the owner of that company told me that we have to track down the builder from 20 years ago and find out where to get the tiLe. The office manager at Granite Brothers sided with TLC, said he had, in fact, listened in on our conversation! To clarify, we were unaware they were not part of Granite Bros. The owner at Granite Bros did apologize for all of this, and I would maybe work with them again. But our kitchen looks terrible as a result of this affiliation. Beware if you have any modifications along with your granite. Insist on hiring your own contractor. read more

Don't use these people. They are unreliable. They are more than willing to get an order from you but do not follow through. First they didn't come to install the counter tops at the hour they gave me and then not on that day despite several calls from me for more information. At 5 pm they still did not come or contact me so I cancelled and we set up for the next day. Their plumber was supposed to come early the next morning to turn off the water. He came but not through his fault he couldn't locate the cut off valve at the street. I contacted SAWS who came out and located the valve. The plumber, Trey, came out the next day and disconnected the faucet and said he would come back the next day to install and turn the water back on I requested him to come back before 10 am so I could make it to work. The fabricators installed the countertops yesterday. Today, the fourth day of a one day install, no Trey. Finally at 12 noon I called Granite Brothers and had to leave a message asking where Trey was. Finally Trey called me back saying they were going to charge me an extra $400 because I didn't tell them I wanted a hot water dispenser. I told Trey that when I ordered the countertops, I told his dad(?) Exactly what I wanted including the hot water dispenser and he suggested I might also want a garbage disposal button on the counter. I said I did want the button and dispenser and that I would order them through Amazon. Which I did. I called and asked if they wanted me to bring these items to their office so they could drill the holes. He said just bring the sink and they would drill for the sink but the other items they could drill at my house. So several times while talking to him over the phone and in person we discussed what I wanted. So either they misspoke or they were trying to get more money out of me. Bottom line I am calling another plumber to do what they refused to do. If it costs me more money, I'm happy to never have anything to do with that company. Terrible customer service. I couldn't even get them out for a quote/measure at the time agreed upon. As a family of four, (my wife and I and two kids) we had kept our plans open between after school care, rushing home from work, day care, and all else, to be home at the prescribed time for our confirmed appointment at 5pm. At 5:10pm I called them to make sure they were coming and they had no idea what I was talking about. Not only that, but they were not apologetic at all, projecting a "don't care" attitude. I love my new granite countertops. I got three estimates which were all comparable but Granite Brothers were more personable so I chose them. The estimate was quick. Selecting the color took the longest because I'm indecisive but Brandon recommended Triton Stone where I was able to see actual cuts and select my slabs. Installation went off without a hitch.
