I contacted Vanessa about a property she had listed the day it was posted. The following day, I…read moreviewed the property and made an all-cash offer the day after that. After two days passed without a response from the seller, I sent a written message indicating that I was willing to improve my offer and was flexible on the terms. Vanessa informed me that the seller was ill and out of communication but assured me she would get back to me as soon as the seller resurfaced. The next day, Vanessa emailed to inform me that the seller had decided to go with another offer. Despite my reiterated offer to submit a revised bid on the spot, Venessa told me it was too late. If you're a buyer in today's market, you might know how disappointing it is to lose out on a property because you were out bid. I promise you it's worse if you lose out after a communication breakdown, not knowing if your best offer would have won the property. I can't see how either a potential buyer or seller (directly working with the same realtor!) is best served by not getting everyone's best offer in front of the seller before a sale. Suffice to say, I'm eagerly awaiting the property transfer notice to see if that sheds any light on what happened. The story has an interesting coda. I was told by a contact familiar with the seller's situation that she was selling the property because of ongoing noise from the neighbors. When I asked Vanessa during the showing why the seller was leaving, she told me it was because the seller wanted to travel.

Although, everything was going quick and she was able to help us with the Power of Attorney, Wills, and Perpetual Agreement. She went above and beyond to help us last minute and managed to spend over 3 hours. Our family and friends including the doctors, nurses, and attorneys were pleased to see my mom smiled as she was going through the pain and her last minute wishes. I needed it done ASAP and they said they could do it. So I schedule an appointment for a Notary to meet me at the facility at 9:00 AM on a weekday and that was Okay with them. I asked what it would cost and it was way more then what that service should cost but I said Okay. The night before they sent me a confirmation text for our appointment and I confirmed it. I took time off from work on that day so I could meet the Notary there. I got there at 8:55AM and there was no Notary so I waited until 9:15 and No one showed. I called Nathalie to see what the delay was and she said there was a miscommunication with the person that was supposed to show but he's on his way. I waited until 9:35 and called them back to tell them I can't wait to much longer because we had a 9:00AM appointment and I can only wait about 10 min more, when will that person arrive. She could NOT give me an answer so I cancel the appointment. THE Problem is First, they charged me way more then they should have. Second, they made an appointment with me they could Not keep. Third, because of their incompetence I lost time from job for nothing.
