Overall, The fields for baseball/softball and soccer are decent enough, and the facilities, including spectator benches are in great condition. Lighting included. You can't get these kinds of conditions at any park in Fresno. They also have plenty of gazebo spaces and playground areas. There is also a small pond near here (on the vineyard side), and my husband says that he saw someone fishing, but I don't know all about how that works. I also don't know the process of reserving any of these spaces for private use, but I'm sure you could find that info on their website.

My only complaint is my son wanted a personal pizza and they advertised they had Me-N-Ed's Pizza but it definitely was not Me-N-Ed's they need to change that. This is my dogs' favorite dog park!…read more It's a spacious area, more grass than dirt (sometimes gets muddy in the corner by the street), some shaded areas, lots of trees, and bigger dogs are not separated from smaller dogs because it is just one area. There are also a couple of dog exercise course scattered across the dog park. Recently, new benches were added as well as a sidewalk to make it more easily accessible. The dog fountain doesn't always work, but there are regular fountains at the bathroom if you have a container. I would bring one just in case. The dog park is just a small section of the whole park so you can also take your dogs out in the open field.

Seems like it's usually pretty calm and there wasn't many people when we came. There is a bathroom but it has no doors on the stalls and it looks like they hose it down in the morning. So make sure you all use the bathroom before you leave the house. Bring a basketball too because there are courts to play. There is also a tennis court and plenty of room to kick a soccer ball or play catch. The play structure has a lot of monkey bars so it's good for climbing and swinging. There is a big slide and the floor has wood chips for a mostly safe but for sure scratchy landing. It's fun for the kids to get to see the train pass but it's super loud so the babies may not like it.

The park itself isn't anything special and it can get fairly dirty from people's trash. Even though it's riddled with duck poop everywhere, I would recommend going to Oso de Oro over this place. At least if you have smaller kids who like play equipment and you want shaded outdoor seating. Sometimes I like to walk here and let's just say that I've seen some things. A lot of people for some reason like to drive up, park and sit in their cars for some odd reason which makes me suspicious. I only come here in the daytime. Sometimes people will get out and smoke which seemed a little odd to me that they'd come to this park to just stand around and smoke for a few minutes. One time I walked here after Pokemon GO had just been released because there's a Pokespot and I saw a couple of cars parked in the area. I got excited thinking maybe they were playing Pokemon GO, but as I got closer I smelled the weed and figured out what they were really doing. lol Today the park was empty because it was 106° but I did see another guy pull up, park in the shade, roll his window down and sit in his car for like 20 minutes. Not sure if he was playing PokemoN GO or not since I didn't feel comfortable approaching. An ice cream van came by and entered the parking lot at a snails pace. He stopped and parked for several minutes in front of the other car. It was quite creepy since there were only 3 people in the park including me. I just like to stay alert. I did see a bunny in the playground area, but it ran away.

I took my 6 year old niece here for a photo shoot when she was under a year for her first Valentines Day celebration so this park will always be so special to me as there were so many memories created here! Not much as changed when I came here when I was 13 years old as they have a play structure, tennis courts, basket ball court, baseball diamond and big grassy area too! The park is always clean and by a rail road tracks that's highly active. I believe two trains passed during our time here. My sister and I would reminisce how crazy we were back then as we climb the trains or go under them which was so dangerous!! The nieces loved this parked and enjoyed eating their meals there and then being able to play with the kids at the park. There were a lot of activities going on and families here enjoying getting out and having fun! Overall, I love coming to this park as it's so low key. Definitely recommend coming to this park if you are in the area not crowded and there's ample places to sit and relax or get up and exercise! The only negative I didn't like is that ALL dog owners took their dogs off the leash which made me feel uncomfortable but hopefully one day they will build a gated section for that.

I was surprised how big it was. There are plenty of parking around the park. I saw a nice trail for people to walk on which is fantastic. On the park itself there are two big bridges I saw and in the distance is also a playground area with jungle gym for little ones to play at. Quite a lively park with many people utilizing it. There are many big and established grown trees providing lots of shade. This park is great for sports and outdoor activities because of the open space. There was no trash on the floor and the park is pretty well kept.
