    Pretty dirty mats 6.12.24
    Belen M.

I get this idea. I love this idea. But it's being poorly executed. We have been here a couple of times, last summer and this, and I don't know if we will go back. My daughter is 1.5, and while she enjoyed it, she was pretty quickly over it, As there is not a whole lot or what there is, is not great. Everything is either dirty, not working, in poor condition or just poorly taken care of. All the plastic surfaces are super sticky, and the mats were clearly dirty, and had not been cleaned recently. I definitely know the balls in the ball pit have not been cleaned or replaced recently. There were 4 people (adult and kids) who were inside without socks, which I thought was a rule. Toys are missing, broken, nonexistent, which doesn't help with the whole pretend concepts or building train tracks, etc. No complaints about the concept, to take kids and let them play while you chill and/or eat, but also may not be easiest thing to leave their side when other big kids are running around, since I don't think there is an age limit. Again, I get it, it's neat, but It should probably be deep cleaned, update flooring, and get some updated/upgraded toys.

Had my daughters birthday party there this weekend and it was a success, all the kids had so much fun, especially since the new remodeling I feel it caters to slightly older kids. They kept the toddler area but with much better use of space than previously. My daughters turn 4 & 7 but even the 10 year olds there had a blast! Most kids didn't want to go home. I'm sure all our guests will return there to play during open play this summer.

We stopped here on a road trip so our kids could stretch their legs and get some energy out before naptime on the road. It's definitely a smaller place but it costed more than bigger and newer places back home in Sacramento. We paid $15 for our son which includes a parent, plus $5 for an extra parent, then $10 for a crawling baby. At other places, our daughter is free. There was only one person working there at the front desk. Normally at these types of places there are at least a couple people walking around putting things away or at least in the general area (i.e. food toys in the kitchen play). I know it's kind of pointless with kids and the toys will get moved or grabbed right away, but it would be nice if it was in the general area at times so kids wouldn't have to search. There is a little toddler play zone where it says no kids above age 3 allowed, but that was not enforced by the one attendant either. Big kids were running all over. This play area could have been a little nicer, things like the floor pads were not connected or they were just very run down and could use replacements. The big ball pit and trampoline was fun for my son but he kept pointing at trash/wrappers underneath. One thing I did like were all of the tiny little kids tables lined up. It gave our son his own little zone to do his own thing if he didn't want to play next to others. The big jungle gym was fun for him as well. They have snacks and drinks available too but I would recommend bringing your own. Our son picked the mandarin oranges and the tiny container was $2! You can buy a 4-pack for like $3 at the grocery store. Overall it was a nice option instead of being outside in the hot blazing sun, but not something to do regularly because it adds up quickly.

    Ball pit! Son was obsessed!

Took my 2 year old son here yesterday and he will not stop talking about it!!! They have an amazing ball pit/slide set up. Besides the amazing play set up they have for kids they have free coffee and WiFi for parents. They also have snacks, soda, and small lunch items for purchase. They have tables for adults to hang out at and small tables for the kids! Everyone, including parents are required to wear socks so we ended up having to purchase them when we showed up in our flip flops. They were reasonably priced.

Price changes. Current prices are the top ones as of June 2025

Good place for kids under 10 just because toys are geared towards this age group and under. They recently remodeled half of the cafe and added some new toys (May 2025) CONS - much more expensive monthly membership compared to other indoor playgrounds and indoor play structures -only allows one parent per child. (Many others allow both parents with price of child admission) -must log on to social media to get updated hours of operation- not always correct. (Best is to call) -hours of operation is inconsistent. closes early sometimes and closes for private parities. (Best to call) -too many toys for the space it has. -have motorized cars with little space to drive. The kids driving them end up running into tables or under tables and sometimes running over the hands of the littles ones playing on floor. - seating space is crammed. PROS -Small enough to keep your eyes on your children while sitting down -different variety of play for children -free coffee -free WiFi -you allowed to take outside food in to eat while kids play -they sale snacks -they accept credit cards and Venmo -my child enjoys playing there Overall: Great place to take your little ones. My son really enjoys going he's 2. The newly updated play structure is nice and fun.... He really enjoys the ball pit. I wish they would be more consistent with updating their hours of operation. Because a few times I drove there going by the hours posted on social media.... Only to find out it closed early or closed for a party.... try telling a 2 year old he can't go inside while he sees the play cafe with his own eyes. Crying and crying, which then I have to try to console him... I'm sure parents would understand the frustration that could have been avoided.... If hours were updated regularly on social media. (Best to call) We are monthly members which we will not be reviewing our monthly membership($400 a month)... prices have gone up significantly (plus the days it closes early and parties we are not able to enjoy the membership those times). I do understand in this economy and with the remodel prices would increase, However i did not anticipate in big increase on monthly membership. With that one price I could pay for 3+ different monthly memberships to other local indoor playgrounds, jump places, water parks. I would recommend the owners to look at the market and compare cost for memberships. Daily prices seem average however, other places do include 2 parents like at kids empire. It does sadden me because my son really enjoyed going, maybe we'll go like once a month now. - And Please Watch your children!! Some times other kids were hitting my child with balls or pushing him down, and there parents were not watching them. (I know this happens with children... but a few times it was excessive) Beware. It's a small enough to watch your child at all times. There's a sign at the entrance to please watch your children.

Looked for activities for my kids 1 and 4 and this placed popped up on maps it's great, our first time here and will definitely be coming back. It is a bit small, but it's designed for crawling babies up to 5 years I WOULD SAY. I will attach pictures and hopefully it'll help make choosing this play easier for a fun afternoon. Also need to mention they do have a snack section but it's pretty much empty had they been stocked I would have given 5 stars.

I called before Christmas to see if they would be open on New Year's eve and they said they would not, but that they would be open on New Year's day. They even posted on their social medias, after Christmas, that they'd be open on New Year's Day. We showed up New Year's Day at 10am and there was a sign on the door that said they were open from 9-7 but when I tried to open the door it was locked. I looked at their Instagram and an hour prior they posted they were closed and deleted the original post that said they were open. I made a comment on their post saying pretty much everything I said at the beginning of this review and they deleted the post so my comment would be deleted as well. As much as we enjoyed this place the one time we went in the past, we will no longer go out of our way to come here.

How clean is this location? We're thinking about doing a birthday, but with it being at height of sick season I wanna be sure it's been cleaned the day before?

It's a lot larger inside than it looks from the outside. There are so many different options for children to play on including video games. The pizza was actually pretty good. Every employee there was smiling and super happy. I don't know how they do it because being around that many screaming, running, excited, energetic kids for hours on end would drive me crazy. Every employee was extremely helpful and courteous and very patient with all those children running around. The bathrooms were clean. The snack area was clean. They cleaned the tables off as soon as people left. I attended a birthday party and the birthday room was the perfect size. Our party room attendant was a super sweetest young man. He was so patient with everyone and did not seem annoyed by all of the screaming and excited kids running in his way while he was doing his job. He brought us everything we asked for with a smile. They are extremely organized. I love the colored wristband method. A child did get hurt while we were there and the employees rushed to help her. They were organized, they weren't frantic or freaking out at all. They had clear communication with each other. Because they were so organized and professional it kept the parents from freaking out and they kept the child relaxed until the ambulance arrived. You could totally tell this was not their first rodeo. Before I got there, I was wondering, would it smell strange because of all the little kids and the sweat, it being an enclosed building and the no shoe thing, but to my surprise, it smelled clean, I didn't see any trash anywhere you can definitely tell that they take pride in this business.

I would totally recommend this place for your kids. It's located in River Park in between Claire's and Fuwa Fuwa. It's 19.99 per child and two adults can get in with child free. I think that's such a steal! They do require for you to sign a waiver every time you go in so be aware that you need to do that before you head over to front desk. Also, socks are required for everyone and they do have some to purchase too. They offer party packages which is awesome if you're looking to do your kids party elsewhere like here! As you can see in my video I've recorded, it's HUGE! There's a play area just for toddlers and on your right, for the big kids! HO is 10am-8pm and the great thing about coming here is you can always leave and go back in for that day of entry, just make sure you have your receipt. Food can be pricy inside so since it is in River Park there's food places around! Best time to go I would say is during Farmers Market for sure!

At least there are 3 slides but I can imagine it gets pretty crowded since there's only one way up. There is a tiny play ice cream truck and little fruits/veggies stand but the ice cream truck didn't have many of the ice cream scoop parts. The small table for building blocks was nice but again I'm sure it gets crowded. They have some snacks and drinks for sale in case you forget to bring yours. I think overall it was a lot brighter and cleaner than the other play place we went to in the area, but just less variety of things to play with, and they're the same price for entry.
