The dirtiest indoor play area we've been to in the area. For being a no shoes area, the floors were honestly disgusting. My socks were black on the bottom when we left and all I did was one light walking around to follow my daughter. I definitely wouldn't let my crawling baby anywhere near that floor. And the toys were everywhere. It was like a bomb had gone off. Seems like the gal that was running the front could have spent a little more time tidying up from the day rather than sitting on her phone. The staff was very nice to us for our first visit. He expressed how they remodeled about a year ago for all soft play. They have an under 3 area only which is nice! They have a great size space to keep an eye on your little one easily. My little one had a blast playing with everything for 2-3 hours. They have snack drink area and also sell some items if you need something to eat/drink. They are sock so ensure you bring some, if not you can purchase some for $3! They had two restrooms and everything was mostly when we arrived on Sunday morning. They can host parties as well. Con: a lot of the small toys should be replaced like play food, blocks, and the small shelf that have some misc electric toys. Tables were sticky from constant use of wiping and cleaning. read more

Fresno is definitely lacking in indoor kids activities for a city its size, so it's nice that Kids Play Cafe exists. They are a bit pricy, but once your kids are in, there's no additional charges and they can play as long as they want (well, until they close). We have an almost 5 and and almost 2 year old, and the play areas were perfect for them. They both really liked the climbing areas and slides, the ball pit, and the toys. Also, the cafe has activities on some days, like crafting, which is included and fun. The coffee and snacks are just so/so, but otherwise, our kids love it and so do we. The staff is really friendly, I was surprised to read the comment about them being rude. read more

I get this idea. I love this idea. But it's being poorly executed. We have been here a couple of times, last summer and this, and I don't know if we will go back. My daughter is 1.5, and while she enjoyed it, she was pretty quickly over it, As there is not a whole lot or what there is, is not great. Everything is either dirty, not working, in poor condition or just poorly taken care of. All the plastic surfaces are super sticky, and the mats were clearly dirty, and had not been cleaned recently. I definitely know the balls in the ball pit have not been cleaned or replaced recently. There were 4 people (adult and kids) who were inside without socks, which I thought was a rule. Toys are missing, broken, nonexistent, which doesn't help with the whole pretend concepts or building train tracks,etc. No complaints about the concept, to take kids and let them play while you chill and/or eat, but also may not be easiest thing to leave their side when other big kids are running around, since I don't think there is an age limit. We stopped here on a road trip so our kids could stretch their legs and get some energy out before naptime on the road. It's definitely a smaller place but it costed more than bigger and newer places back home in Sacramento. We paid $15 for our son which includes a parent, plus $5 for an extra parent, then $10 for a crawling baby. At other places, our daughter is free. There was only one person working there at the front desk. Normally at these types of places there are at least a couple people walking around putting things away or at least in the general area (i.e. food toys in the kitchen play). I know it's kind of pointless with kids and the toys will get moved or grabbed right away, but it would be nice if it was in the general area at times so kids wouldn't have to search. There is a little toddler play zone where it says no kids above age 3 allowed, but that was not enforced by the one attendant either. Big kids were running all over. This play area could have been a little nicer, things like the floor pads were not connected or they were just very run down and could use replacements. The big ball pit and trampoline was fun for my son but he kept pointing at trash/wrappers underneath. One thing I did like were all of the tiny little kids tables lined up. It gave our son his own little zone to do his own thing if he didn't want to play next to others. The big jungle gym was fun for him as well. They have snacks and drinks available too but I would recommend bringing your own. Our son picked the mandarin oranges and the tiny container was $2! You can buy a 4-pack for like $3 at the grocery store. Overall it was a nice option instead of being outside in the hot blazing sun, but not something to do regularly because it adds up quickly. read more

Had my daughters birthday party there this weekend and it was a success, all the kids had so much fun, especially since the new remodeling I feel it caters to slightly older kids. They kept the toddler area but with much better use of space than previously. My daughters turn 4 & 7 but even the 10 year olds there had a blast! Most kids didn't want to go home. This place used to be one of my son's favorites. On our last visit, the staff were rude and treated my autistic child differently than other kids. My son is nonverbal, but it was clear how upset he was. He became quiet and left calmly with me after the staff kept being rude to us and asks us to leave. The manager clarify the situation which I appreciate , rules matter, but kindness and understanding matter too. I hope this leads to better training for working with all children, and dealing with these situations in more appropriate ways. read more

Took my 2 year old son here yesterday and he will not stop talking about it!!! They have an amazing ball pit/slide set up. Besides the amazing play set up they have for kids they have free coffee and WiFi for parents. They also have snacks, soda, and small lunch items for purchase. They have tables for adults to hang out at and small tables for the kids! Everyone, including parents are required to wear socks so we ended up having to purchase them when we showed up in our flip flops. They were reasonably priced. read more

This place is definitely not safe for all kids. My friend's child who is autistic was kicked out of this place for no apparent reason. First and foremost, the child wasn't even throwing objects towards any guests. I have visited this place numerous of times attending family friends' child birthday parties and i have seen children throw objects around. Secondly, Children with disabilities cannot be denied access to programs, services, or activities that are available to other children. If an autistic child faces discrimination in a public or private "kids' place," they are protected by federal and state laws, most notably the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). FYI The ADA is a federal civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in all areas of public life, including schools, private businesses, and childcare centers that qualify as "public accommodations." Therefore, Children with disabilities cannot be denied access to programs, services, or activities that are available to other children. I will be reporting this incident with DOJ. read more

I was really excited to check out this play cafe, I love the concept and had high hopes for a fun, safe space for my child. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite meet expectations. The space is cute and has a lot of potential, but it's definitely not in the best shape. Shoes aren't allowed (which I normally appreciate), but the floors didn't seem very clean, which was a little concerning. Many of the toys/set ups were broken or missing pieces, and the ball pit, while visually impressive.. had some surprises. While sitting with my child, I found lots of play food with hair stuck to them, Legos, and even a granola bar/huge crumbs. That was just in one small section, which made me wonder about the rest & run out. I know kids can be wild and messes happen quickly, but in a space like this, regular cleaning and upkeep are essential. I really wanted to love it, but cleanliness is a non-negotiable for our family, and sadly, this visit missed the mark. We won't be returning. read more

They recently remodeled half of the cafe and added some new toys (May 2025) CONS - much more expensive monthly membership compared to other indoor playgrounds and indoor play structures -only allows one parent per child. (Best is to call) -hours of operation is inconsistent. closes early sometimes and closes for private parities. (Best to call) -too many toys for the space it has. -have motorized cars with little space to drive. The kids driving them end up running into tables or under tables and sometimes running over the hands of the littles ones playing on floor. - seating space is crammed. A fun place for toddlers and slightly older to place. Not the largest facility in the world but has slides, ball pits, wooden play structures and a pretend kitchen play area. Brought my one year old here and over the times I've been this place has been runned down. Certain toys that have batteries weren't working like the toy grocery store. The scanner isn't working and noticed it's been broken for quite some years. Toys in the infant are also need batteries. My daughter attempted to play with a toy that needed batteries and then lost interest when she realized the toys weren't functioning. The place is clean overall and employees do disinfect. I called before Christmas to see if they would be open on New Year's eve and they said they would not, but that they would be open on New Year's day. They even posted on their social medias, after Christmas, that they'd be open on New Year's Day. We showed up New Year's Day at 10am and there was a sign on the door that said they were open from 9-7 but when I tried to open the door it was locked. I looked at their Instagram and an hour prior they posted they were closed and deleted the original post that said they were open. I made a comment on their post saying pretty much everything I said at the beginning of this review and they deleted the post so my comment would be deleted as well. Hours of fun for my 2 year old and 5 year old. I've been going here on and off for a while now and I have to say this is a good quality business. They are consistent. It's better to go when it's not overly busy/crowded. Clean and well kept. Friendly staff. Food can be ordered from Noah's Ark across the way. It's great to bring your own snacks and drinks. Kids can take lots of breaks to sit down and then go back and play. They also have a snack bar that you can purchase snacks from. My kids love climbing, jumping and going down slides. Perfect for when the weather is too cold or too hot outside. Would definitely recomend for anyone with little ones. read more

I have just discovered indoor playgrounds for my toddlers so this is only the second one I have tried, but it has fewer things for toddlers to do than the other one I visited a few days ago. This place has a pretty small toddler area but a bigger area geared for preschool ages, so if I were looking for that I might appreciate this place more. This place didn't appear to be as well-kept as the other I went to; a lot of the balls in the ball pit were smashed in, there weren't enough of them, some of the netting had holes in it, and the foam structures, etc. seemed grimier to me. One parent was walking around without socks, which I thought was a little weird and not sanitary. One thing I did like was they had a wide variety of reasonable snacks for sale, and that you could have food delivered from the nearby restaurant. read more

My 2-1/2 year old daughter really enjoyed it here and We stayed as long as we wanted. Really great setup with toys, table's for the parents (first come basis), and a little area to buy snacks / food. The food is just a little pricey like any other place! Unfortunately I felt it was a little dirty. My daughters white socks turned black not long after we arrived. Tables and toys look like they could also use some cleaning. They didn't have anything visible regarding prices. No pamphlet or anything describing packages they offer! The internet didn't provide anything much either in regards to the pricing. I paid $95 for a 10x pass which is nice. Only draw back is that I will have to call to check if they might be open because they could be closed for parties. The gate that separates the front entry from the play area could also be upgraded so it's not so flimsy! Parents should stay vigilant because it feels safe and easy to take your eyes off your child. Maybe a better accountability system for the parent kid would be nice to see! So after coming across this place on Instagram, and based off of what I saw on their page and their advertisement of how "clean" this place is I decided to take a drive to Fresno (one hour) to check it out. Well, unfortunately that hour drive was not worth it. Sadly I was pretty disappointed due to 1. the lack of customer service and 2. especially the cleanliness!! Although the concept of this play cafe is pretty neat, and they have a good selection of equipment & toys (which a lot have to be replaced) they definitely need to keep up with the cleaning and work on better customer service. Upon arriving the gal at the front desk didn't even greet us and was so short with answers. But ok, whatever didn't let that get to me. What did it for me was the dirtiness of this place, from the floor to the the equipment, toys, furniture, the restroom was disgusting!! Honestly what kept me there for a couple of hours was the fact that I drove one hour and my son was having fun. But I felt so disgusting and dirty after being there. I kept wiping my sons hands with my personal handwipes & washing his hands in that restroom that was so dirty. Minutes after arriving and exploring our socks went from white to black! The softplay area and ballpit need a good deep cleaning. Prior to leaving I had to go into the dirty, smelly restroom again to give my son a birdbath and change him into a new outfit and throw those nasty socks away. I've been to Children Museums, Parks, even the play areas at the mall I could say are cleaner than this place. Overall, my son enjoyed playing however due to their dirtiness I don't ever see myself returning. Nor would I recommend this place. read more

We had been here before for a birthday party and it was okay. This time was very dissatisfying. It wasn't that busy at all but the front desk girl took almost 8-10 mins just to walk up to the front desk to check us in. We could clearly see here putting toys back and wiping down tables and she was even at one point like 10 ft away from us and still didn't look up or acknowledge my toddler and I. And let me just say, my toddler was NOT being quiet since he clearly wanted to hurry up and get in and play. Finally I said "EXCUSE ME?" Really loud and she just walked over like nothing. There's a lot of broken plastic balls in the ball pit area (as shown) and have pointy edges. Even when we were leaving, front desk was right there and didn't even say "bye thank you for coming" or anything. There is a little area with a small ball pit for kids under 3, and some climbing areas and play structures for older kids. I'd say kids up to about 6 would enjoy. Love that you can bring your own snacks for the kiddos. And they have tables so parents can sit and chat, or work on laptops, etc while the kids play in full view. The only problem I had was some of the balls in the ball pit were broken. That sharp plastic could potentially cut someone. I took my daughter recently and the skinny lady at the front was just constantly picking up the toys while they were playing with attitude, kids weren't even making a mess. The kids and I came here for a friends birthday party. My friend was happy to not have to do much for a party. It's always nice to be able to pay for a venue to help you with the heavy lifting while you enjoy your friends and family in the celebration. When we walked in I saw my friend having to tell people the place was closed for a party. Maybe they should've hung a sign first or posted on their media platforms that it was closed for a private party. No biggie but it got me paying attention. When I walked in it smelled nice and clean but as I looked closer i could see a few things that seemed like possible hazards to me. One example is the big staples on the climbing structures in the toddler area. Another is in the ball pit that has a lot of broken or smashed balls, the floor in that area was pretty dingy and of course the balls need to be replaced. For what people pay to come on a regular day, the equipment should be repaired properly and replaced in a timely manner. My kids had a blast and of course didn't notice anything or get hurt. The girls helping with the party didn't seem to know how to host or how to step in and help. Not sure what kind of training they get for that, if any. My friend had access to their cold display that they use for drinks and snacks. Man, those were overpriced! Haha! But all in all if was a good time. After checking their Instagram, I was so excited to see they had recently posted that they would be open until 7. I drove across town and got there at 6:05. We walked in, my son grew really excited watching all of the kids in the ball pit, but unfortunately we weren't even greeted before being told 'we're closing at 6:30.' It caught me off guard since it wasn't too long ago that they had posted their hours, but I understand that sometimes things change last minute and I was still willing to pay full price for 20 minutes of play time. In the middle of telling the front desk attendant that I would still like to take my son in, she answered a phone call and turned away. I walked out annoyed and with a very upset 2 year old.
