This is only coming from a person that attended a wedding not from a person that booked a wedding here. I will say that there is pros such as the bar was pretty nice, I'm sure it would have been gorgeous if we could have gone outside but it was pouring rain. However the cons definitely our weigh anything. We didn't get our dinner and we told 3 to 4 people and every time they just looked at us and said they were going to come back with their dinner and then nobody ever did. It wasn't until my aunt went to them that they even acknowledged that they didn't have any more. Remind you 11 people didn't come in the last few days so I'm not sure what happened with the meat and the food but finally I got an answer. Wedding coordinator is completely frantic and not sure what to do. Not once did she say let me solve this don't worry about it let's figure it out It literally had to be the waitress. First of all we just lied over and over again saying that she gave us food we refused it somebody ate it but in reality they were giving out multiple meals before making sure that every single person had one and they were well aware that we didn't have one while they were still giving out food. We got married here this past weekend, June 17th. It was a literal dream! From the moment I did the open house back in August 2022 I knew my day was going to be just perfect there! Our planning team Megan, Victoria, Carly & Julia are beyond amazing. They all go above and beyond to make sure every part of the planning process with them is smooth sailing. I had the pleasure of working with Megan and Victoria the most and Megan ended up being our day of coordinator which I couldn't have been more thrilled! Victoria did our big planning meeting in February 2023 where we went over all the big details and she did not miss a single beat and made sure to double check with us to make sure we had everything perfect. Megan was an angel on our wedding day. She had everything running so smoothly and kept me at ease because I knew we were in good hands. She knew exactly how I wanted everything laid out for our decorations and her and her team made my vision come to life! Once she left for the night our team captain Janet took over and her and her team made the rest of the night go just as smooth. I have so many good things to say where do I even begin... -The venue itself is stunning, and set up so well that all of the events flow very smoothly. - Every single member of their staff has been a delight to work with since day one. They all have gone above and beyond to make this whole process easy, fun, and relaxed. Susannah was our coordinator day of, and she was so great. She was kind, patient, and so easygoing it felt like she was our friend. Our banquet captain Janet and Victoria were wonderful as well! They checked in on my groom and I regularly, and were just so kind and happy to be there. The Chef Valerie did an amazing job with the food. The steak was perfection, and our guests let us know how much they enjoyed the food! - After the ceremony, they had champagne and appetizers waiting for us in the bridal suite for my husband and I to take a few minutes breath and take it all in. - They have so many ways you can customize your wedding to make it exactly the vibe you want. We added on the photobooth, and I wish I got the woman's name who ran it because she was incredible!! And the photo-strips were the perfect favors for our guests. If you are lucky enough to find an available date to book your wedding at the Granite Rose, BOOK IT IMMEDIATELY! I cannot say enough amazing things about this team and venue. It was recently renovated and is absolutely gorgeous. Everyone assumed that we'd be getting married in a barn when we said we'd picked a venue in NH, but it is modern, chic and needs very little in terms of decorations. They have all inclusive packages that take the stress off your plate because you don't have to worry about all the little details or coordinating all of your vendors (especially important if you're out of state). They have set planning meetings throughout your pre-wedding timeline and it's awesome because you stay on track and organized. Megan - She's amazing! She walked through all the details in our check in calls. Kept us on track and when we were getting close to the wedding we had barely any to-do's left. I was able to get everything done with her help and she was so sweet and kind throughout the entire process. It was an absolute pleasure working with her!! I could tell she truly cared about us as a couple and our wedding day - this is NOT just a job for her. That meant so much. Victoria - amazing energy to have around you on your special day. We loved having her as part of our wedding day and she was there to help in any way, including fluffing my train before walking down the aisle :) Carly - What can I say - Carly NAILED IT! DO NOT book with Granite Rose or Wedgewood Weddings. Their management has been completely unreasonable with us during the Covid-19 pandemic. We booked our wedding pre-pandemic under the assumption that we could have around 150 guests including elderly guests that we couldn't imagine celebrating our wedding without. Our date was in July of 2021. We put a down payment of over $5000 (again pre-pandemic). When the pandemic first began, we thought our date would be fine because it was over a year away. Fast-forward to January 2021, our second payment is due and the pandemic/restrictions are not really slowing down. We had to make a decision to put more non-refundable money into a wedding that isn't going to be what we were promised or look for other options. We don't want to push the date so we thought to call Granite Rose to see if we could potentially get a refund on our original down payment, or even a percentage of a refund (considering the current global pandemic). They basically said there was nothing that they could do the down payment is non-refundable. I understand the contract said the down payment was non-refundable but we also signed the contract thinking we could have around 150 people and not knowing people would have to follow Covid protocols. We also canceled a little more than 6 months out, which is plenty of time for them to re-book the date. Now Granite Rose will be double-dipping on a July wedding date. It's really not a good look to be benefiting on people (two teachers) during a global pandemic who just wanted to celebrate with loved ones. We thought a large company such as Wedgewood would be understanding considering they can't deliver what they promised. But instead they're refusing to acknowledge it and profited $5000+ from us. They don't care about you. Just like any big business, they only care about one thing, money. read more

My husband and I had an absolutely amazing wedding with Wedgewood. We didn't want to spend an absurd amount of money, so we kept our budget very low, and they still managed to give me my dream wedding. The ceremony was stunning, they worked with my budget, and everyone was super helpful and accommodating. My absolute favorite thing about our wedding with Wedgewood was the simplicity of it all - there aren't a bunch of separate fees for vendors, venue rental, catering, bar etc. It's all just wrapped up in per person cost, which I think is brilliant and very helpful. I want to give two special shout outs - one to our planner Lane! Lane, you were the reason our day was so special. You knew exactly the vibe and environment I wanted and honed in on the details perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better planner. And secondly to our chef - you made our food so amazing! My husband and I are vegan, and you worked around our restrictions so well. We also had a ton of dietary restrictions and food allergies for such a small wedding, and managed to work with those flawlessly while serving amazing food. Everyone at the wedding was raving about how good the food was. Thank you for everything Wedgewood. I know I was a bit of a frustrating customer at times, but you made my day so perfect. We went to a local charity event here for the local library and the Granite Rose handled the crowd and the event well. The place is Big and clean, very hotel-y decorated, but quite dated in the decor. The food was fine- we had a good meal and was hot and fresh. The reason I'm giving two stars is because of their shoddy business practices. When I inquired certain date availability, they told me that they don't have that information but when we come for a tour they can tell us. That already seemed suspicious and a huge waste of time. We decided to tour anyway because we'd be in the area for another tour and I had a hunch the only reason they wouldn't tell us if it was available or not was because it wasn't and they wanted to try and persuade us into another date. Which is exactly what happened. They also wouldn't tell us when we got there, they said they'd look into it at the end of the tour. While it's a nice space, I couldn't get over the fact that they solely wasted OUR time since we told them we were set on the date and because we had confirmed availability at other venues. They were working, they were getting paid regardless but they made us come in and made us tour to find out. Then they tried to convince us to do a monday wedding. Just shoddy business. A huge waste of time for nothing really. If they have your specific date, I'm sure they would tell you right away. The person who toured us followed up timely but with a very disingenuous email about how "there's something about us and that she would love to work with us". Came on way too strong especially after wasting our time after I explicitly said we only want our date and would not change it for any venue since there are plenty of amazing ones around for around the same price. We ended up going with Manchester Country Club in Bedford, NH. We confirmed the date before and the tour with Fallon was amazing. They made us bride & groom cocktails and then had a sample of apps for us to taste. The price and space is amazing and you can use the bride and groom suite starting at 9am the day of the wedding with a brunch set up and butler service and have access all through your event. No one came close to this!! Definitely recommend checking them out. read more

My review is for the newly reopened Wedgewood Granite Rose. We just had our wedding here this month in August. Everything from start to finish was fantastic. The staff worked with us in finding a date that fit our budget and we were able to create a package that worked for us. Our package included invitations, the wedding cake service, the DJ and the justice of the peace as well as some other things. each one of these services provided was great and we didn't have to have the stress of looking for tons of separate vendors everything was all inclusive and we just had to pay the venue instead of separately. Every staff member is extremely accommodating friendly, helpful and genuine. They truly go above and beyond with their customer service. Our wedding ceremony was held on site in their beautiful gardens. The reception was in the embassy room and my decor was put out perfectly the room was set up nice and it didn't feel empty despite the fact that we only had 31 people. We had the Smore's bar with the fire pit which allowed our guests to go outside and sit by the fire pit as well as outdoor patio access and lawn games. The food was good and we had the DJ included in our package we worked closely with and he did a great job! We also had open bar for the full length of the wedding as opposed to a lot of other venues I looked up that charged m by the drink! The wedding coordinator even called me the next day to tell us that they would be refunding us for a service that we did not end up using! Everything looked so beautiful and ran smoothly. Karlee and our banquet coordinator were absolutely amazing, and she definitely made it all possible for us to have a stunning wedding! Do not book with this company! The bureaucracy and corporate hierarchy has been miserable to deal with during the COVID-19 Pandemic. We have several close relatives and family friends who have significant compromising health conditions that would be put at high risk by attending our wedding during the midst of this pandemic. We booked our 10-10-2020 wedding 2 years out and put of the payment down up front as required by the contract. When the Pandemic struck I called to talk about the possibilities of moving our wedding out for the safety of our family and friends and the initial response was that a postponement was considered a cancellation so we would have to forfeit our deposit and rebook. My fiance calls and requests to speak with the next level up which is the General Manager at Granite Rose. We waited about 6 weeks for a call back. We only received one after at least 3 unreplied phone messages and an email. There was nothing the General Manager had the authorization to do, so after waiting six weeks for help we were still at the same place. Our next call was about 2 and half weeks later with the Regional Manager. Throughout these conversations we kept getting told that it was taking so long because they were dealing with all of their summer brides first. I completely understand and am empathetic to the fact that they are busy but we had people coming from all over the country and needed to give our guests some indication of what was going on. When we spoke with the Regional Manager we were told they could move our wedding to the winter, January thru March any day that was available OR any Monday-Thursday from April through the remainder of 2021. We want a fall wedding and in New England the season matters. Frankly the offer of a weekday wedding only in October felt like a slap in the face. In my opinion, the company is putting the loss of profits on the backs of the 2020 couples. It seems to me the couples are getting undesirable dates to recoup those losses and the company can still book 2021 weekend dates with their new pricing structure. On June 3rd, before our second payment was due on June 10th, the CEO sent an email blast to people and I was appalled. It was entitled 'Good News About Your 2020 Wedding'. They addressed some safety concerns, which to me seem lackluster and more about telling people what they want to hear rather than actually speaking to the safety of having a large gathering. To me it also comes off very irresponsible as the phrasing seems to promote loopholes. Below is one section of the email: "Currently, our staff is wearing protective face coverings, however, as a private event, you and your guests are not required to wear masks of any kind. Your event = your choice. " We went back one more time to the Regional Manager to discuss weekend options in October and they wouldn't budge. We made the difficult and financially risky decision to walk away from a toxic relationship with this venue because we care more about the safety of our family and friends. Every time I think about this venue it infuriates me how they are treating their couples. Everyone wants their wedding day to be the most important and when you find a venue that makes you feel like the only couple instead of a cog in a wheel it makes all the difference. At Wedgewood you are a cog and it is particularly evident during the pandemic. With that said do not go with Wedgewood Weddings. read more

Beautiful space in a great location! I went for a friend's wedding and it was a smaller group. The staff was kind and responsive, but for the size of group, we ran out of food and plates. But they were responsive to address the situation. The only other thing is $2 soda with no refills. On one hand it will limit how much I will consume, but on the other hand it is highway robbery because soda is like $.25 a cup. Otherwise it was a great event. Our wedding was beautiful and the food was amazing. Although, my bridal experience was a bit of a challenge. We booked before the pandemic and were provided the opportunity to move our date. We decided against it and reduced our guest count. While I was asking millions of questions about changes due to COVID, I could tell the rep was getting annoyed with my questions despite the fact I was sent NOTHING about changes they had due to COVID. I also was told 2 weeks before the wedding the table chair count increased but I had already finalized the seating chart so I was charged for the extra tables I needed to keep the safe table numbers I had all set two weeks before the wedding. Lastly, the day before the wedding I was told I would have a different coordinator for the day of the wedding but that shouldn't be an issue because they take similar notes. My decorations were out of place, same with reserved chairs, and the new person locked out the parents of my disabled flower girls so they couldn't watch them walk down the aisle or help them be seated once they walked in which slowed down the ceremony. Everything was perfect except for the poor communication about important details and customer service. Luckily I fixed the decor and reserved chairs. But I could not advocate for the parents to be let in prior to the flower girls. Which was a very big discussion I had with my other coordinator. read more

As a wedding guest I was shocked at how rude the staff was, it wasn't outright rude- more sarcastic and patronizing. They claimed the ac was set to 67 yet it was 76 in the room - outside was only 70, trying to cool off would get you eaten alive by mosquitoes. My friend tried to get an appetizer and the server actually pulled the tray away and said she'd be back, never saw her again. As the last table to get food they were out of veggies and potatoes- we were told to eat salad, it's a vegetable. The bride and groom did not get a full plate of food since they went up last. Could not hear the DJ well. Water glasses were never refilled. Thank god the company was amazing because this venue was not. read more

Rich (the owner) was so pleasant on the phone, and said "sure, come on down!" with no appointment, we showed up. there was no function going on. Rich showed us the entire place, made sure he had the date available we wanted. He has been very receptive, answering any/all questions we have. We ended up spending about an hour with Rich. He did not rush us at all, gave us some very useful information, and documents for us to take home and look over. He is very proud of his venue, as he should be. My husband and I went to a friend's wedding on Saturday. The place was so nice and clean. The food was great and the numerous servers were very attentive. We drank coffee before dinner but when dancing started we decided to have a drink from the bar. My husband waited in a long line. I wanted to dance with him to a great song we both loved but it was over by the time he came back. He said only one bartender who looked miserable and the prices were outrageous. $10 for Tito's vodka? There were almost 200 people in this room. Why only one bartender? I was s server in college and sharing tips is not delightful but this is silly. If you book a wedding here, make sure you have enough bartenders. They must have had 8 servers who were amazing!!! Great venue! So pretty. The staff was on point, everything seemed smooth and laid back. The food was amazing, especially the haddock supreme. The berry zampaglione, was great. the bread basket was good, rolls, everything rolls, and pumpkin bread for no reason! so good! the seafood stuffed mushrooms were excellent and big! and i was told the beef on a stick was very good. The cake was delicious and moist! Timing was great! My only issue is that there are 2 event spaces, and they share a bathroom. We were here for my friend's wedding, and the other event was a high school safe dance. So there were terrible teenagers in the bathrooms (I was told a boy was in the men's room moshing...to no music, bumping into people at the urinal....uhh), being sketchy, and cops standing guard. It would have been nice if they had informed the bride, before they paraded a bus load of teenagers past the main window...all waving at us...lame they also told the bride she had to provide a basket of toiletries in each bathroom. I can't even begin to explain how absolutely perfect this venue made our wedding. They are all inclusive and handled everything from the DJ, to the cake, to setting up our decorations for us. The sales staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about every aspect of the day and are readily available to answer questions or concerns through email or over the phone. They set up all the vendors for you and give you a binder full or everything you need to know such as vendors contact info, dates you need to know, and lists of specific things you should get done and by when. Not only are they amazing with the planning process and take a lot of stress off the bride, but the day of was as smooth as could be. The venue was beautiful, the direction from the staff was clear and on point, they set up my decorations exactly as I asked making my vision come to life, the DJ was absolutely fantastic the entire night, the food was wonderful and the cook even came out to personally introduce himself and ask us to enjoy our meal, and all the staff was incredibly helpful, polite, professional, and absolutely amazing. If I could give this venue 0 stars I would. Our wedding is scheduled for August 2020, and none of the staff have been willing to discuss options for the current COVID-19 situation. They aren't even willing to tell us what measures the NH location has specifically taken. The manager pointed me to blog posts on the general website, but those were vague and didn't tell me what the staff in NH was doing to keep people safe. They also won't discuss rescheduling. It takes days, often a week or more, to hear back when I attempt to discuss my concerns. I also have a wedding planner that they haven't been willing to work with at all. I've asked multiple times that they cc her on all emails and they have refused to do so. So I have had to be the middle man, which increases my stress and anxiety. I have a 3 month old son. We wanted him to be part of the ceremony, it is extremely important to us. But with COVID we knew that wouldn't happen so we could keep him safe, and I wouldn't be willing to attend a full reception in August simply because it wouldn't be safe to then go home to my son. The fact that the staff here haven't even been able to discuss how they are going to keep my guests safe is completely abhorrent. Their website says that they might do sequel weddings, but I have outside vendors, and they know that I do, and they haven't discussed this as a potential option with me so I can try to form a plan with my vendors. They haven't discussed the option for a social distancing wedding with me. They haven't discussed an option for the current guidelines that have been put in place. There has been NO communication at all. They refuse to discuss any of this with us. How am I supposed to appropriately plan? My wedding is 11 weeks away. Weddings can't come together in the blink of an eye. I would need to know now if I need to cut my guest list. They also haven't taken into consideration that my bridesmaids, while they ordered their dresses on time, haven't been able to get their dresses. The groomsmen haven't been able to get their suits. My hair and makeup vendors have canceled and I can't find anyone else. Because they haven't been willing to even have any sort of conversation with me about this, there is no way that my wedding could even be remotely what I was hoping for. The ONLY reason I am still with them is because we've made 2 payments before all of this happened and we're essentially stuck. I am completely dreading my wedding. Honestly the response from the staff has been horrible. I have discussed with others in the industry and they are horrified by what is happening with this venue. STAY AWAY. If this is how they are treating people during COVID, they clearly don't care about making wedding days special and beautiful for their brides, they only care about what money they can squeeze out of people. For a day that I was so excited about and had been dreaming of. This has been a complete nightmare. read more

We just celebrated my sister's wedding here this past weekend! Five stars is definitely what they are getting from me. First of all, anyone who can deal with drunk groomsmen gets extra stars if it were possible to do so! Poor Jen, our server, was a great sport when gently harassed and flirted with by the best man! Erin was our coordinator and she was absolutely amazing!!! She was not only friendly (and patient), but made my sister's special day absolutely unforgettable. The venue itself was beautiful, well maintained, and had a really nice cozy feel, although it was not small so it wasn't a cramped feeling. There are two separate function rooms so sometimes there are two going on at the same time, however, I would literally have never known it if I hadn't sent my gf back to the car for something and she walked into it! ha! The hall itself was beautiful, surrounded by a dark brown wooden porch and the courtyard area out back where she got married was so beautiful! The flowers growing in the back, including beautiful daisies, and the rocks/waterfall/gazebo above made beautiful wedding pics. I was so impressed! Food was amazing! When I watch Four Weddings, people are so critical, but this food was so awesome.....we had a buffet style that was elegant, delicious, and plentiful. I am a vegetarian, so even though they had fish in the buffet, vegetarians were able to get our own plate in case they didn't want fish and it was really yummy! The bread was soooo good, hot, with whipped butter! My niece had a really great looking children's plate. They were so accommodating! DJ was amazing and I believe he was recommended through GR. He was professional and no chicken dance as requested by the bride and groom! He was very patient with the drunks and constant requests! Overall this place is amazing and should definitely be considered! read more

I would steer clear of this venue as their customer service, as well as company values are absolutely horrendous. I spoke with an event coordinator Elaine yesterday evening (10/5) who relayed an available date that would work for my special event. Was presented with a reasonable package from Elaine via email, and she responded quickly when I reviewed the menu options. I told her I would call as soon as I got out of work the next day to place my deposit. I had a missed call from a different event coordinator Carly at around noon time today (10/6). Her voicemail again indicated the date and times I had discussed with Elaine the evening prior. Carly also said that she would be emailing me my proposal to review and provide my deposit for. A mere few hours later I returned Carly's phone call only to find out that the dates we had discussed, and had been referenced SEVERAL TIMES both via email and voicemail were NOW no longer available. Carly had no justification only that Wedgewood is a "first come first serve" venue. Horrid experience and I would absolutely never recommend this venue to anyone. I will continue to share this experience with anybody who asks as I feel that any company who is this devoted to the almighty dollar should have a warning label attached to it. read more

Wow wow wow I cannot say enough good things about this venue!! We got married here at the end of August and choosing them as the venue was probably one of the best decisions we made along the wedding planning process. From the second we booked them, we were given an organized binder with due dates to keep us on track. It made the process so easy, which was a must with both of us working and in grad school. Every vendor they use was incredible, from the florist to the baker. Shaina and Christine were amazing and accommodating every step of the way and helped keep us sane. The actual wedding day could not have been more perfect. Christine made the reception hall absolutely gorgeous (which was a true feat given what little decorations we provided) and made the ceremony absolutely seamless. Shaina took care of us during the reception, making sure that everyone had everything they needed (and more!). The food was amazing and our guests were thrilled with the service. Everyone here went above and beyond to make our day perfect, even helping us pack up the decorations and helping our guests find their belongings. Our favorite surprise was a framed picture from our ceremony on our sweetheart table (which was SO cool and unexpected). We are so grateful to Wedgewood Granite Rose and could not imagine a more perfect day. I HIGHLY recommend this venue! I guarantee they will exceed your expectations. read more

What a wonderful experience. From top to bottom The Granite Rose is a class act - A+ operation. Our servers, hosts, bussers and bartenders, the buffet attendants, all so professional and charming. The food; from the cheese and appetizers to the carving station and buffet was awesome. Bread service on the tables, Champagne toast, water and coffee as well as a cash bar was available. The property, the views, the over-all stature of this place was just exquisite. we were about 300 guests, it was my sisters wedding reception, I was a guest from Florida, i was blown away at how wonderful this venue was. From the table settings to the sparkling restrooms - this place is awesome. Thank you Granite Rose. I will tell of my wonderful experience - you deserve to be recognized - you are tops in your class.
