Excellent food and service!! I had them cater our thanksgiving meal for 8 people and it was amazing.

As a wedding photographer, I have seen a lot of things over the years including a few cakes melting and falling over. At a recent wedding, just such a thing happened, and it was because of Keri's quick thinking and professionalism that this cake was saved. As we went to photograph the couple cutting their cake, everyone noticed that the 3-tier cake was tilting and sliding...... and someone needed to act fast. Keri calmly rushed in and literally held the cake up with her hands with just seconds to spare before it toppled. We successfully got our photos, and Keri quietly and confidently communicated with her staff exactly what was needed to move the cake and save it so it could be cut and enjoyed by the guests. I try over and over again due to convenience. I swear they save and reheat yesterday's home fries. How does one get old home fries at 7am? Club sandwiches consistently come short the 3rd piece of bread. Now the sandwich sizes are even smaller but the price is higher than ever. I recommend Common Man across the street. Tidewater catering is the go-to recommendation I will give to anyone who is looking for catering for any event. It was literally because of the professionalism and positive, confident attitude of Keri that I was reassured and kept in high spirits throughout the wedding planning. I changed my mind dozens of times about the food, the linens, this and that, and asking so many questions (probably the same questions repeatedly, I'm sure) and through the whole process she never batted an eyelash. She was never flustered, never seemed bothered, and always was extremely accommodating, helpful, and punctual. I will emphasize that she had excellent organization and communication! I was even making changes to the reception one week before the wedding and she was "can-do" all the way. Let me mention that we had ONE month to plan our wedding, and the Tidewater group made the dream come true. The day of, everything was in order, everyone was super friendly and helpful, and they kept their cool even though the weather was super hot. They were quick to check on guests and everyone was so happy with their service and the FOOD! Even our photographer gave them a special shoutout on her Facebook page and told us it was some of the best wedding food she had even had. And let me tell you, for what you get, the prices are incredibly reasonable. We ate like royalty. You won't find professionalism, confidence and warmth anywhere else in NH. I wish I could give them 10 stars. As an aside, since we didn't have time to have a tasting, we went to their restaurant, the Waterworks Cafe, and the food was to die for. I just used Tidewater for an event and was extremely impressed. The service and food were impeccable. Also the desserts (cupcakes) were a huge hit and offered some interesting flavor combinations. My husband and I used Tidewater Catering for our wedding. Keri is so nice and accommodating. I have a gluten allergy and my husband is vegan, and they were so wonderful about suggesting food that we could eat and modifying recipes to make them fit to exactly what we wanted. Keri has a lot of industry knowledge, and she is extremely easy to work with. In particular, Keri was able to suggest some things about the set up that we hadn't thought of. We did not have to worry about anything regarding the food set up or the menu after we had chosen it. Also, the staff working on the day of our wedding were extremely friendly and kept our stations moving and our guests happy. It was so important to us that the staff know about allergies, and it was clear that they all had a lot of knowledge about them. I happened to run into Tidewater Catering at a recent local function. I noticed all the adults were enjoying the food. And then I noticed that my children, who are very picky eaters, were also enjoying the food! So I decided to hire Tidewater catering for a surprise birthday party for my wife. Keri was great to work with and had good suggestions for the menu. The staff was professional (and on time...Which is very important for a surprise birthday party!).
