I asked the guy at the counter if the prices were different and he told me they don't charge tax for in store purchases. Came in today about an hour ago and they were trying to charge me tax. Needless to say, I walked out empty handed. This isn't an issue of being cheap, but it absolutely annoys the hell out of me when a business isn't consistent. Sucks because they have good prerolls but now I'm on the hunt for another location. 2 stars for the good product, negative 3 stars for the BS. * 4/3/23 came in again and again they tried to charge me tax. Hopefully this is not the RUDE ass staff trying to pocket extra money because there is no other place that charges tax when you're paying with cash and I was previously charged $110 for one jeeter ($50) and one hit slugger ($60). On their website, I saw that they sold THC gummies with 50mg per gummy, ten per bag for $35. (They *also* sell low-strength 10mg per gummy at a cheaper price.) Although I'd never been to this store, I decided to give it try. So, I walked there and entered. They were friendly, and one employee asked how she could help me. I showed her the screenshot I took of the 50mg per gummy product. She confirmed that they had them for $35 each, and I said I'd take one. Then, she said, "If you buy two, I'll give you one for FREE!" I thought that was a good deal, so I went for it. I paid in cash ($70 plus tax) and left the store feeling good. When I got home, I emptied everything out of the bag. I had TWO BAGS of the 50mg per gummy, but the third "free" bag was the weaker 10mg per gummy product. I had been tricked. This "dispensary" is NOT licensed. Their product does NOT undergo the rigorous lab testing that product from licensed dispensaries does. AND if you look at the other reviews here, you'll find a few honest ones that report similar shenanigans. For example, one guy bought an ounce of "Purple Haze" flower. But, when he got home, he found they had switched it and given him an ounce of garbage weed. This establishment is dishonest and shameless. But what should you expect when the first official act of a so-called "new business" owner is to flout the State and City's licensing requirements? Think about it. I have visited many of the licensed dispensaries. You might experience a little "learning curve" with all the many choices, but there is a LOT of good product at reasonable prices. As it turned out, I really liked the 50mg gummies. I would have gone back for much more. And since I live in the neighborhood, I would have become a regular, cash-paying customer. And though I have access to Medical Dispensaries, the cannabis products at Granny Za's have not disappointed, from edibles to flower and concentrates. I need sales people that know more than I do and the folks here are knowledgeable and friendly. No person on the street heckling you to come inside etc. Just walk on in and casually browse but there's always a friendly and informative budtender to answer any questions or give recommendations. The flower is listed in tiers from silver to diamond. And priced as such. I opted to treat myself to their diamond quality Granny in Space. And in space I indeed was in. Granny took me there , showed me how beautiful the universe is and allowed me to be friendly , talkative and just happy all while being weightless. Placed the order at night, they delivered on time the following day, but I was so disappointed that both disposable vapes were expired. I'm confused whether this place is considered a legal dispensary. I went on September 27, 2022 - and I was told that they were legal and licensed. It was my first time buying cannabis, which I told them. They sold me an expensive ($98) torch resin diamond 2 g hybrid rechargeable vape, which hasn't done much for me.
