I come across sign for Yolkie. A picture of their signature egg sandwich with bacon! This place reminded me a lot of Egg Slut in LA so I bookmarked it and decided to go there the next day. The next day sure enough, I was there at 9am and guess what I got their happy hour offer (9am to 11am) free OJ/ coffee with sandwich! This day was turning out to be better than I expected. Like all Lagkahuset shop, you have to pull number and wait for your number to be called. A bit too clinical for a bakery and cake shop, you might say - but it wasn't a rush hour and I got served immediately. I asked for a small cortado and the girl behind the counter asked if I wanted to decide how much the milk would be myself. Uhmm, okay - maybe she experienced that many people confused cortado with latte instead but I guess it's always good to decide yourself. So she poured the milk in front of me and waited until I said stop, which was right after because I wanted a cortado not a latte. That's a bit odd part, but hey - it's a good (emergency) place to have a coffee and a bite (if you're into sweet stuff) and a good people watching place since it's just next to the station. Next time I'm stranded here again, I'd probably go here again :)
