'Big morning' platter with quiche, waffles, yoghurt bowl, plus acai bowl on the side.

We had breakfast here the other day and really liked it! My boyfriend and I tried the big breakfast platter as well as an acai bowl. Breakfast platter was very filling, it included a very good ham and cheese quiche, some (kind of strange) little waffle toasts, and a big yogourt bowl. Acai bowl was great too, it was a big portion topped with granola, coconut flakes, and grapes. After eating we decided to stay a bit longer to read our books so got coffees as well; I had an americano which was very good. They gave us options of a lighter or darker roast coffee, I chose the dark. Service was friendly and interior is cozy. Also a little patio outside, near the water, for when the weather is nicer. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Norrebro!

Great food and good vibes all around. Everything on the menu is gluten-free and absolutely delicious! I came for lunch and ordered the veggie salad along with a coconut water. The salad contained glass noodles, avocado, carrots, tomato, spinach, beets, sprouts, sauerkraut, sesame seeds, with an asian inspired dressing. It was served in a large bowl and was very filling for the price. I saw some other people next to me eating both the breakfast plate and sandwiches, all of which looked amazing. I want to return ASAP to try the delicious looking gluten-free crisp bread. In addition to the tasty and health-concious food, Social also has a lovely atmosphere. I came here to work and could honestly spend all day hanging out in their cozy space. They also play really good music which makes for an excellent work environment.

We were walking along lakes and my wife wanted good coffee. We saw this place and entered. I was surprised to see that the place was only full of women-must have really been a social hour;) The place was completely packed! We ordered a tuna salad sandwich (as you can see on pictures). Food was great and little bit fancy. I'm taking one star off because of the noise level. I couldn't hear what my wife was talking about. I'm taking the star off also because of coffee, which was not that best that the coffee machine can do, plus the bathroom was dirty and very dusty. Well, I'm sure this has potential to be THE place of the Copenhagen. Cooks defintly proved themselves and now is time to fix the small things around. I will be defintly back (we walk around often) and I may add a review in the future just to make sure it's fair. Take care and stop by there-Life is tasty.

Tuna Sandwich on (with?) Zucchini bread

This is a cute, waterside coffee shop that serves really fresh and delicious healthy food. It was a great change of pace after eating a lot of fried food, meat and potatoes, etc during our trip to Copenhagen. I think everything here is gluten-free, which I don't actually care about, but is worth pointing out because it's not super noticeable that it's gluten-free... so all of you "but gluten is delicious!" people don't need to worry! I had a tuna sandwich on "zucchini bread." It was an open faced sandwich that seemed a bit more like a salad with some thin pieces of bread surrounding it than a proper sandwich. Despite this, it was pretty tasty (featuring great pesto sauce) and a decent amount of food! I also came back for a banana chocolate chip muffin, which tasted pretty much as expected, nothing special. The staff are really friendly and fun, and they let me buy the muffin even though they were technically closed! Great place to grab a snack or a light meal, and sit outside to if it's a nice day!

Very cozy nice place for both outside and inside seating. The coffee and the food are healthy and tasty. Definitely a good place to go for breakfast or quick lunch. Friendly staff, too!

Adorable cafe with relaxed vibe & delicious food. I didn't have coffee because I was tempted by the kale smoothie instead. As many have mentioned, it's all gluten free (hooray!) and they were perfectly willing to tweak items so they're dairy free as well - a great mix & match. Music is just enough in the background; some people studying / working while others are pleasantly chatting, leading to a nice atmosphere.

I really like Social as a nice chill place to have a nice work day with healthy food. Love that they are GF/DF friendly. They have almond milk too, which is becoming popular in CPH but many cafes still only offer soy, which is horrible. Anyways, Social is great. I especially love there sandwiches and salads. Not to mention the guys working there are beaaaaautiful

Absolutely loved Social. The yellow building catches your eye as you're taking a stroll by the lake, thinking, "Wow, what a cute little hip café!" Ideal for meeting a friend to catch up with over a cup of coffee, or kombucha like myself. They have a trendy yet charming vibe, with nook window seats to people watch, homey and minimal decor, and an outdoor patio with wooden communal tables and benches looking out at the busy street and water. Service matches the quality of food--on point and vibrant, hence the pop or yellow exterior! I enjoyed munching on their large salad bowls. My favorite contained salmon (drooling just thinking about it) and you can taste the farm-to-table style quality. It's hearty and wholesome, yet filling in the best way. You know you're going to feel good when you're putting a colorful dish into your body, not to mention the presentation is so pretty, you don't want to eat it! Can't wait to make my rounds and try the waffle sandwiches, the açaí bowl, and the rest of the menu!

I've had the tuna sandwich for lunch and the morning plate for breakfast, and both are outstanding. Everything tastes very fresh, healthy and balanced. The homemade zucchini bread used in both lunch and breakfast is surprisingly filling and tender. I also can't recommend the banana, peanut butter, chocolate chip muffins enough! Incredibly delicious with perfect texture.

A lovely and cozy coffee and brunch place! The coffee is top and the tuna salad sandwich was also a DELICIOUS experience: tuna is great, vegetables and sauce were fresh and flavorful, and the zucchini bread was YUM -- I'm drooling just thinking about it! The cafe is warm and welcoming, and it's lovely sitting outside to enjoy next to the lakes. Highly recommended!!

Once we got our food, we understood why so many people come. This was without a doubt the best meal we had in Copenhagen. All the dishes were simple, elegant, and focused on the wholesome ingredients. The eggs. THE EGGS! Never would I have thought that scrambled eggs with ketchup would blow my mind like this did. Other big stand-outs were the avocado, asparagus, and homemade bread. My spouse had the chicken nuggets and lost his shit. Would DEFINITELY recommend to anyone who finds themselves in Copenhagen. And get a reservation!

Three or four stars? It's a tough question when it comes to this place but I end up giving it four…read morestars instead. Why did I even consider three? - It's a trendy place so there were lots and lots of people there when we tried our brunch there on a Sunday morning. Although we didn't have to wait long for our table, online table booking would have been more convenient. Seriously, what's up with these brunch places - you can be strict and say you would hold table for 15 minutes only and I am sure people would appreciate that. - Noise level was absolutely bad, see #1. It's a big open place inside and since there were lots of people and they were all talking, we could hardly have a conversation inside, let alone hygge, but fortunately the food was good enough of a distraction - Super greasy bacon. Seriously, if you claim to be a brunch place, do your bacon right. I like the smokey flavour but the shit was literally dripping with oil. Kinda disgusting to pick up from the plate and now for the positive sides: I love that there are more and more brunch places with this concept where you mix and match your own stuff. All the stuff they had in their menu (would like to try the asparagus but they didn't have that!) sounded so scrumptious that we felt like we had to try it all and we did (almost all). My personal favourites would be the soft-boiled egg and the waffle, although Mina K also swore by the sunny side up egg (spejlæg). The item that I was looking forward the most (avocado) turned out to be a big disappointment. More flavour please. Although there were so many people on that day, the service was very prompt and efficient, we got our table relatively fast considering that there were 6 names ahead of us and the food came quick too. My cortado was delicious although it was somewhat weak. All in all, service was quick and painless. I might want to try this place again on a not weekend morning, or maybe later in the afternoon when there's more relaxed atmosphere around this place. Sunday morning brunch gave us bad vibes since they were a lot of people waiting to get their brunch and the stressed out waiters and waitresses didn't help. Four for now and I really hate to degrade my review. I hope it never will come to that.

The layout of the cafe is very cozy and dimly lit, a perfect place for vegans to socialize over lattes and food. We decided on their brunch platter and croissant sandwich, so we could share everything. I got a matcha latte and she got a regular one. The cashier was very kind, and she gave us her recommendations on what to try. She even spoke to me in English (although she didn't have to!). I also decided on trying out a pain au chocolat. Wow, just simply wow. Their pastries are still buttery and fluffy while remaining amazingly vegan, and their ingredients are high quality. The "cheeses" did not taste like plastic, no, but tasted similar to authentic cheese. The croissant sandwich was full of flavors and everything on the brunch platter was delicious. I especially loved how they decorated and seasoned the avocado (and it was ripe!) The matcha latte was a lovely wake up, especially after I had a horrible matcha latte the day prior. After about an hour or so, we were both eyeing their options of "cheesecakes" and decided on sharing a slice of their pecan option. After we took our first bite, my friend and I just looked at each other. The pecans and sauce complimented each other so well, and the vegan consistency wasn't too mushy! The breading was not too crumbly and each bite was Heaven. All in all, I am SO EXCITED to come back to this delicious cafe, as it was my favorite restaurant we tried during our stay in Copenhagen.

Thankfully, Kaf is in the same neighborhood. It is a vegan bakery! There are a few gluten-free pastries, namely the cakes. The place was small inside and it was packed. Dog friendly . . . Five stars for that! There is an outside seating area as well. We ordered some items and all were so amazing! On their Instagram page they are always posting about their vegan fastelvnsbolle and so we got some. It is basically a cream puff the size of a child's fist. Oh my, one of my faves from Denmark. The vanilla whipped cream inside was so light and not to sweet. The dough did not get soggy. On the contrary, the bottom of the pastry was crunchy and sweet. Almost like the bottom of an almond croissant. I also recommend their vegan, raw cakes. Deep rich chocolate is involved, yay!
