I came here around 11am for a mid-morning pick-me-up and there were about 5 or 6 people in line ahead of me, but it moved pretty fast. I've been on a matcha kick lately so I ordered a matcha latte rather than coffee. I didn't have to wait long before my iced almond milk matcha was ready. I definitely enjoyed it, although I will say that it's not the best matcha I've ever had. It was good though, don't get me wrong. Coffee does seem to be their specialty but I'm glad they have other options for people like me. I took my matcha to go and sipped it as I walked around the rest of the Sunriver shopping center. The Bourbon Caramel Latte has become a favorite, but honestly, we come here for more than the coffee. It's one of those places where you want to slow down for a bit. We'll grab a couple of drinks, find a place to sit, and spend an hour people-watching, reading, catching up on the news, or just enjoying the morning. The building itself adds to the experience. It feels like a classic mountain lodge, and there's always a steady mix of locals, tourists, hikers, cyclists, and dog owners passing through. Even when we're traveling with friends, Sisters Coffee becomes the mandatory first stop of the day. Will we be back? Of course. In fact, I think it's time I finally signed up for a coffee subscription so I can enjoy a little bit of Sisters when I'm back home.
