Plunger Head brand wine. Sure to tantalize your palette and unclog your toilet.

Wine bars aren't just for those snooty types! I'm sorry - I totally jumped to conclusions. Let me start off by saying, I know NOTHING about wine. The "tannins" and all that other jargon ... yeah, no idea. I sometimes mumble that word to sound smart, but I have no idea what it means. When my family wanted to hit up Grape Expectations, I thought, "Oh, HELL NO!" Sure, the name is awesome (props to you, Charles Dickens), but me? At a wine bar? Uh, me and wine bars are like pairing a white wine with steak - IT JUST AIN'T HAPPENING! Ok, so I was wrong. This place was so laid back. They actually had trivia during the day. I love trivia. Again, it's not something I'm good at, but I can play along. Trivia and alcohol is actually not a great combination for me, as I end up shouting out the wrong answers - very loudly and confidently, no less. There were tons of wines to try out - and get this - FOR FREE! You could probably sample wines all day and not even buy a single drink. As an added bonus, they even had complimentary Chex Mix! All in all, what a great little spot. I wish all wine bars could be this welcoming to the everyman like me who knows little to nothing about the sophisticated lifestyle.

Love it! We don't usually out this far, but this wine bar was totally worth it! Amazing selection and the bar tender was great! Small cozy venue, but warm atmosphere, definitely coming back!

We kind of did the math and depending on the pour, and their pours are generous, it is cheaper to buy by the glass.

Service was... okay. A bit on the "too relaxed" side, which almost came across as unfriendly. To be fair, I was already in a mood from something personal before I walked in, so maybe that energy carried over, but still worth noting. Food-wise, it was decent--nothing mind-blowing, but good enough that I'd definitely come back when in the area. The loco moco burger was basically an ordinary burger, though the gravy added an interesting twist. Not sure I'd reorder it. I really enjoyed the French toast--the grilled pineapple on top was disappointingly dry, but the syrup helped and overall I'd get that again. The millionaire bacon sounded much more exciting on the menu than it tasted--pretty basic in execution. What I do love is how creative their menu reads; it makes you want to try everything. That's why I feel like I need to come back and sample more dishes to really get the full experience. Cute spot, decent food, and definitely worth a return visit to explore more of their offerings.

There was a beautiful patio area that drew us into the bar after seeing all the great drinks being served. The bar was filled with a trendy ambiance of warm candles, books and cool original art pieces with a nice vibe of upscale patrons. We sat in a corner nook with a beautiful foot locker as our table covered with magazines. A lovely bubbly server immediately brought us menus and introduced us to the restaurant that was filled with well dressed mostly female patrons surrounding the L shaped bar. Signature Sangrias are the go to drinks and I ordered the Kumquat Sangria that uses locally sourced Kumquats for a special one of a kind citrus based Sangria. Definitely a must try drink that comes with an optional kick of Southern Comfort on the side. My wife got the Very Berry Sangria that came filled with fruit and included chop sticks for eating the fruit. A Great Drink as well. The bathrooms were also worth a visit to see the library books and fulfill a fantasy ;-} we will definitely be returning for the next Friday Fest and our new central Florida favorite bar.

Although there was a bit of a wait, our service was great and the overall experience was positive. This is a gorgeous restaurant that is very elegant. Our server Tammy was LOVELY - so attentive (even being so busy), great recommendations and really just a delight to have as a server. We all chose a variety of things, but I had the mushroom and truffle ravioli as a starter that was very good. I could tell the pasta was made in house. My boyfriend had the spinach gnocchi that was fantastic!!! I was jealous I didn't order it lol. He got the prime rib, that he said was good. I have the prime filet that was good, but I wish the chimichurri on top had a little bit more flavor. We were bummed we couldn't order the espresso martini tower for my mother in law, but understood it would have been a huge stressor on the bar staff. We did order a few espresso martinis à la carte and they were fantastic! Definitely made with fresh espresso. Lastly, the crème brulee came out flaming and was absolutely the best I've ever had! We were really enjoying ourselves, but I wish I took more photos. We really enjoyed the experience and look forward to coming back for dinner one day!

Everyone was very friendly and helpful, our server helped us choose between drinks and entrees that we were stuck between. It was a very generous amount of food, and everything was very fresh and the flavors were so well balanced with sweet and savory elements. I also got the Paloma which I enjoyed. My husband got the sausage gravy, which he liked. He said the flavors were more complex than your usual sausage gravy. My other friend got the French toast which she enjoyed very much. She did ask for extra syrup as she felt it didn't have enough but that's a personal preference of course. All in all we were very happy with our brunch and would come back in the future. Luckily there was a lot of outdoor seating, so it wasn't too difficult to find a seat. I ended up getting the sweet blueberry wine, blueberry flatbread (had caramelized onions, arugula, and prosciutto with a blueberries glaze drizzle), and the blueberry shortcake. The wine was lightly sweet and not dry. The blueberry flatbread tasted more of the caramelized onions and the blueberry drizzle added a little hint of sweetness and tartness. My favorite though was the blueberry shortcake. It was soft and the blueberry compote was absolutely delicious. Although it was rich, it didn't feel heavy. I wish I had gotten another slice. In general, I've been here before and it's nice and cozy inside with great service! I love trying all the flavors available with their wine and beer flights (some are seasonal).
