I wandered in to The Pink Piano on a weeknight that happened to be open mic night and it was absolutely delightful!! The bartender/owner was super friendly. They just had beer and wine, which worked for me. It was the best end to date night! Would definitely go back if I'm in Lakeland at night. read more

We went to the Pink Piano for the first time for Opera night. It's a small, intimate venue and we enjoy the friendly staff who were attentive and helpful. The two of us went for a night at the opera and had a great time with the people who shared our table. I can't comment on the food and I'm not sure if they have food available because our ticket included an Italian meal that was ok but not memorable. I wished they had better wine choices but was happy with their recommendations which I had never tried before. Over, a great place to visit with friends and listen to great music. Last night was our first visit to The Pink Piano. We were greeted by one of the owners, Chris. Chris sat down with us and chatted about her move from NY to FL. She gave us recommendations on wine and provided stellar service. The entire staff was exceptional and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for. We also had the privilege of meeting Chris's husband, John. It was his birthday. I would highly recommend this venue. First off Damn! Damn this is good authentic music. We saw Free Whiskey perform with a host of friends that were frigging amazing. The range was from Sweet Caroline to Yo Diggity from Blackstreet. The band took recommendations with ease. This is the kind of place that truly preserves American improvisational music. Add a super friendly staff and a food truck to die for out back. One word of caution, for Orlando vacationers, this is a long haul no matter what Yelp says. But if you love music,have a car, babysitting, and aren't completely beat down from the theme parks, the Pink Piano Bar is worth the 45 mins from Disney/Universal. read more

Not my choice for a good time. The "bar" only serves beer and wine and odd kombucha cocktails. The sangrias tasted watered down and the kombucha-rita was too much to take. The small space has an odd, disjointed crowd. There is live music, but it is loud and I found it to just be unpleasant. read more

A bunch of us went to The Pink Piano this past Saturday night and had a wonderful time. The vibe of the bar is laid back, warm and lots of fun. The drink selection is unique and the food was delicious. I am a vegan and the chef gladly made a few changes to one of the dishes offered so I was able to eat. I really appreciated his willingness to accommodate and that he actually came out to talk to me to see what would work. I also love the live music too. the best tasting drinks i have had by far in lakeland! i got a moscow mule and a martini with a wine based liquor. the korean tacos were to die for and the bar tender was so freaking funny. there was live music and everything. the place was kinda busy and that was only on a wednesday! i'd love to go here on a saturday to see if it's more poppin! read more

I know this review will be out of the ordinary, but I need to get this out. I was treating my mother to a Valentines Dinner at the Pink Piano and it was not cheap, but it was supposed to be a very special occasion. Needless to say, I was less than satisfied with what we experienced. The first moment we realized there was a problem, was when everything was served on plastic plates, cups and utensils. The appetizer was a piece of bread with something smeared on it, a plastic toothpick with a piece of meat?, cheese and something else I forget. Our soup was supposed to be French Onion Soup. It ended up being soup out of a can with a slice of cheese on top, again in a plastic cup. Next came the entree which consisted of Chicken Marsala, Green Beans Almondine and rice. The Chicken Marsala was actually fantastic and delicious and very well prepared. The Green Beans Almondine had no almonds and was ice cold. They were basically out of a can and thrown on the plastic plate. The rice was lukewarm. Our desert were cupcakes that were probably bought at Publix. The entertainment was OK, but at this point, I was ready to go home. I know the people who were working this event did their best under very difficult circumstances. I blame the owner of the establishment for completely dropping everything, all because her dog died 10 days before the event and left others to pick up the pieces.
