Grape Leaf is located within walking distance of my friends apartment so it's the easiest place to go. It has a nice selection of wine, beers and other alcoholic beverages. The prices are a bit higher than average however there are deals around the store. The cashiers have always been pleasant and able to answer questions when needed. Went in to simply buy some juice for a mixer when this cashier man asks for my ID. I simply explained to him that he did not need my ID because I was buying a non-alcoholic mixer. He went on Mansplaining that "state law says you need to be 21 just to enter a liquor store." Which again I reminded him that was 100% NOT true. Irritated, I left, brought back my ID (which proves I'm 24) to buy a mixer. He then continued to say "sorry it's my owner." No sir - it's you and your ignorance. Make sure the people you are hiring actually know Colorado state liquor laws. Worst experience ever. Will not come back to this hole-in-the wall, cement-block of a liquor store. read more

Prices are very high and items are often priced higher than the stated prices, when there are even prices marked. Nothing is ever on sale either. Service is far from friendly and selection is lacking. The fact this store had been open for over ten years is a testament to how much people in Stapleton drink and how nice the town center is. read more

This is a nice little liquor and wine shop in the Town Center area of Stapleton. I've only been in a couple times but it seems to have a decent selection of varietals from all over the world, solid beer selection and friendly staff. I will say that it feels a bit cramped inside, but at least they are trying to maximize the selections within their space. If I could give 0 stars I would. The worst service I have ever had at a liquor store. Rude, condescending, and no interest in helping customers or fixing their mistakes. I ordered a delivery from their website, which is where they sent me to make the order, selected 2 bottles of wine as a gift to be delivered to someone. I had called to ask for recommendations, but was told I just had to go to the site. Without notice to me, they were out of 1 of the bottles (for over 5 years, so not great with keeping the inventory correct) and called the person receiving the gift and told them they were only getting 1 bottle. Did not call me, the purchaser, and ask if I wanted a replacement. Then when I called the store, I got told I was out of place to question why they hadn't called me so I could make a replacement. Then he lied and said he tried to call me but I didn't answer. Nope, no missed call from them. And why wouldn't they leave a voicemail? Then he hung up on me. And this is the owner. There are plenty of other liquor stores that do a wonderful job and really try to help. I suggest no one go here. read more

Went to buy a bottle of wine on Monday May 22nd, 2017. After presenting my Colorado issued drivers license the clerk read my name out loud and attempted to pronounce my name. Since I'm a Swiss national he was very condescending making fun of the pronunciation, furthermore questioning my ethnicity; asking if I'm Jewish as my name is of German decent. The clerk was closing the interaction with "Enjoy your days in the States" mocking my accent. (I'm a legal resident of Colorado for over 17 years). Was there on Monday early evening. Poked my head( body ) into the beer cooler to see if they had a certain packaging of beer. Met an employee on my way out and was berated and made to feel like a criminal. I had an armload of product, $45.00+ and called this guy on his rude attitude.
