We set up a skype call to talk about styles and expectations. He provided insight on the first look and the order of events. Once the wedding date got closer, Darren reached out to us to clarify family pictures and timelines. On the day of the wedding Darren was prompt and caught glamour shots of the ladies getting ready. During the first look he worked with the videographer to coordinate an easy meeting and series of natural photos at the trailhead. After the wedding he made time for bride and groom photos that ended up being some of my favorite shots, truly capturing the love between us. Neither of us have any experience being professionally photographed, yet Darren was able to walk us through the process to make everything feel natural. Within two weeks of the wedding Darren had already edited and made available our entire gallery of photos. They are exceptional. The other was an hour and half long video trimmed down from three hours. We got the three hour version but in terms of looking back and enjoying with our family the two edited versions were perfect. Jenn did an absolutely amazing job capturing our wedding…read more She captured amazing shots of all the most important moments, all while making herself absolutely invisible in the crowd -- frankly, we barely knew she was there. (Not that you wouldn't want her there, but it's just impressive that she managed to capture so many TRULY candid moments because she so seamless melted into the crowd.) The actual "highlight" video she made was perfect -- we've watched it a hundred times and will probably watch it a hundred more. Undoubtedly one of the best investments we spent on our wedding day -- a memory we'll really want to have forever. Jenn was warm and open, easy to work with, and flexible as we figured out details about our wedding day. She hopped on a call with us to get a sense of what we hoped for in the wedding and in the footage that would capture the day. Though Jenn had never been to our venue or worked with our planner before, she arranged everything seamlessly so that we didn't have to worry at all. And then on our wedding day, as other reviewers have said, she somehow became invisible while still managing to film every important moment and detail. We never noticed Jenn, and her blending in allowed her to capture the whole day with full authenticity, as neither we nor our guests seemed to feel self-conscious at all. After the wedding, Jenn solicited our input about music choices for our highlight video and was receptive to our requests. What she wound up producing was an incredibly special, evocative tribute to our big day. In the days since we have received the video, we have loved reliving every moment she captured. Her editing and cuts in the highlight video spun together a narrative that powerfully evoked all of the sentiment that made the day so special, and her video only enhanced that for us. I will say that Danyelle was flexible with rescheduling our wedding due to COVID, however, we did not have a 2nd shooter on our wedding day and getting the album was a horrible process. I had to endlessly nag and reach out to Danyelle to even get the album. When we finally received it, it was 1.5 years after our wedding (Dec 2023) and was the wrong color. Because it took so long to get Danyelle had promised us a free gift with the album to make it up to us, but we never received anything. When I notified her it was the wrong color, she promise to fix it. It has now been another additional year of me nagging her with promises to get it fixed and nothing in return. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed to the point that sometimes even looking at my wedding photos makes me upset.
