The schnitzel was perfectly cooked and paired beautifully with their potato salad, which was also really good. We also tried the Tafelspitz, served with a flavorful beef broth and vegetables. It was hearty, fresh, and packed with flavor. Their house beer on tap was refreshing and went perfectly with the meal. But the real showstopper was dessert--the famous Kaiserschmarrn with apricot. These fluffy, shredded pancakes were absolutely divine, and the apricot added just the right amount of sweetness. Easily one of the highlights of the meal! Service was impeccable, and everything tasted fresh. I highly recommend making a reservation, especially because this is a small restaurant and it clearly has a strong following among locals. The atmosphere is lovely, with a neighborhood, non-touristy vibe that makes the experience feel authentically Viennese. Besides Schnitzels, they have a lot of other traditional comfort foods. I had the schnitzel cordon bleu. The meat was perfectly fried and stuffed the ham and cheese was delicious. Don't forget to ask for extra lemon to put on the huge schnitzel! It also comes with a side salad which was average. This restaurant is little off the beaten path and I wouldn't necessary come out of my way to eat here. But if you are staying in this neighborhood, it's a good choice The service here is really friendly and it feels like a family owned business.
