This is another one of those nice pricey little boutique stores found along the main strip. Glassware, jewelry and artwork seem to dominate this place. Nothing in the way of clothing or shoes. The store does set itself apart from other boutique stores with the offerings they have which I have not seen anywhere else along the strip. The photos below will attest to that.

Lots of neat items to look at. Silver jewelry, small wooden boxes ($200!), various pottery items, and a huge selection of beer steins. All prices are a bit on the high side (expected as much being on Main St). Bought a very unique ~5x7" mixed wood clipboard for just under $30 (I always have an ugly stack on notes on my desk held together by a paperclip, so the clipboard is a big step up). Beautiful and well-made. The store owners were cordial; however, they didn't seem particularly enthusiastic at all about having customers in their store. Maybe I didn't spend enough money. Merp. ;-) Worth checking out when in F*Burg.

    Beautiful glass globes.

I ended up purchasing one of the time craft pieces from here. The owner was very friendly and didn't pressure us to buy anything.

Nice place with a lot of nice things. Most of which are way over priced & the 3-4 times I've been in there the women are pretty rude..

What an awesome art gallery in Fredericksburg!…read more I love art and wouldn't want to miss any opportunity to visit a great gallery. Somehow I never knew about the art galleries on the other side of Main Street in Fredericksburg and just learned about them from the friendly staff at the visitor center. We stopped by after 5pm when all the shops and galleries were closed already. The door was still open so we walked in. The gallery is small but very bright and inviting. It has decent and diverse selections of paintings and sculptures. A young lady welcomed us in with open arms and a big smile on her face even tho we just wanted to walk around and look. It turns out she is the owner. She was very energetic and personable. She talked to us about some of the paintings and asked which our favorite pieces were. Both of the paintings my friend and I liked were from Russian artists. The owner told us that she found one of the Russian artists b/c she saw her work in a magazine and the other Russian artists is represented by an agent in Cali. How awesome is that?! They also have a website that showcases the artworks they sell. Good art company indeed! I'd totally coming back to this gallery when I visit Fredericksburg next time!

Along our walk, we encountered many shops, but none like Talk of the Town. This place is AMAZING! There are some great geodes varying in size and colors. But what caught my eye, was the beautiful selection of blown glass pieces. Mark, was so attentive and patient, as I tried to decide between two pieces. In the end he made me a deal I could not pass up and purchased both of them. Furthermore, Mark gave us some time to finish our walk while he meticulously wrapped and boxed up my purchase for a safe trip back home. I certainly recommend you take some time and visit Mark! The place is gorgeous and the pricing is beyond fair. I look forward to my next day trip out there to look at some more items. Thank you for the great customer service and excellent experience!
