It's also got less in common with much of the shore because it's so classic and relaxed, and the shore is more of a party district, even though some say it's actually not. The Jersey Shore is, regardless, magical, and one of the most beautiful places, and not just in terms of the scenery. I remember my little parking lot sports car tryst with a married mother of several in a parking lot in her thigh high boots after my first ever Jersey Shore concert, and my goodness did Jersey live up to its reputation in my mind. Lovely scenery, let's just ignore Atlantic City, and the towns - especially Cape May - are very much worth exploring, but also in terms of the girls. Some really spectacular girls are from Jersey and from the neighbouring states, and many of them come down here and that's one of the reasons I love it so much. As for the TV show? I'm not impressed by the other 25 letters, but J? Woww. Definitely one of the most groundbreaking shows in TV history because it really put reality TV on the map in a big way for people that weren't even famous. It also defined a look which so many girls and guys go for (yumm) but is not very well represented on TV. It was very fake and staged and manufactured (all reality TV is, and it all sucks equally, and we're all fools for ever watching it), but at the same time it's good that it came around because people can now be honest about what they want to look like, and what they like looking at. JWoww is definitely one of the sexiest girls in TV history and Snooki is one of the cutest and most adorable as well. People love to hate on the people on this show, but if it's up to me I would say there's nothing wrong with these people or anyone else on TV specifically, any more than is wrong with all of us. We love to point fingers and judge, make fun and ogle other people's lives. It's a substitute for having lives of our own, and the only people any of us should be judging and giving advice to... is ourselves. Worry about yourself and let the Shore people and every other person, live their own life. More importantly, we should focus power on the 1% that control us and keep ripping us off and destroying our world and making money off it and then lying to us about it. Let's be honest, if we're being superficial - and the whole world is, more and more - it's the sexiest TV show with the sexiest girls and Snooki & JWoww we're absolute beauty queens. My current girlfriend looks like both of them and I'm delighted about that.

It's not a city I would like to spend too much time in. It's sort of a hybrid between Atlantic City and Cape May, but it misses the main point of both, which in the first case is gambling, and in the second case is peaceful beautiful resplendent Victorian charm. But one place in Wildwood is worth spending time. On the boardwalk. The boardwalk is very cool in a very old style way. I prefer the ones in Seaside Heights, AC, Coney Island, and others, but still. The accompanying white sauce was bland and flavorless. A steak ordered medium-well arrived rare. Given how exceptional our first experience was, we were surprised by the dramatic difference in the quality and preparation of the food. We had expected another wonderful meal and instead left very disappointed. Regrettably, based on this experience, we will not be returning. We brought home the rare steak for our dog and he did not even want it.

More crab than any other restaurant in South Jersey (really, more than any other restaurant in the entire state of New Jersey...I order this dish everywhere). The red gravy was balanced (more tart than sweet, which is what I prefer). The house salad that arrived ahead of the entrees was delicious. Creamy yet light dressing, if that even makes sense. Our party of 7 raved about everything we ordered. The garlic bread was even insanely delicious. There are so many restaurants in the area, but THIS is one we will return to time and time again. My only nitpicks for our experience are two very minor things. I know it's restaurant week but give us a 3rd mozzarella triangle. The timing of the meal was a bit off. There was also a very long wait in between each dish, with the whole dinner taking about 2 hours. That might not be a deal breaker for those who like slower paced meals. Especially if there's good live music playing like there was during our visit. Aside from that, everything else was great. I will definitely come back again for dinner. On a positive note, I ordered the Pescador, which was delicious. It was the first time I ordered something new in years and I'm glad I did. We might deviate from our typical plan and go somewhere else next year.
