Wish folks would find the name of the Surgical Center and rate that center or their staff---NOT add it to Dr. Bertrand Kaper's review. He does NOT deserve to receive a low rating because of staff issues or scheduling issues out of his control! The Surgical Center deserves those low ratings--written separately! Dr. Kaper is a WONDERFUL, HIGHLY SKILLED SURGEON and deserves nothing less than the highest ratings. He came recommended to me by several individuals in and around Prescott, Arizona. I started out seeing a Banner Orthopedic surgeon for evaluation of bilateral knee pain. I immediately knew this Banner surgeon was not someone I felt comfortable performing two knee replacements on me. I then took the advise of others and made a visit to Dr. Kaper's office in Scottsdale (from Prescott). I felt an immediate sense of calm in his presence. With my knee MRI pulled up on a computer, he showed me and explained exactly what was wrong with my right knee (the first knee to be replaced). He made several recommendations. He wasn't pushing surgery but giving me all options available. I respected this as the Banner surgeon merely walked into the exam room and said, "You need both knees replaced." No other discuss. The BEST decision I made was to have Dr. Kaper replace both knees (2025 and 2026). My recoveries were unremarkable and I was pain free almost from day one! During my rehab and physical therapy I can't begin to count the number of people I met that had joint replacements done by Dr. Kaper. I've never hear one negative remark about him or his perceived skills from anyone who had surgeries done by him. Nothing but praise from so many others. He IS simply the BEST!!!! The pain is worse than a ten, if I need to walk I use a Walker. This pain is everyday and going on 3 months. I recently had pictures taken (cat scan with mylogram) I asked my Dr. what he saw and his reply was he didn't do anything from what his view was this shows a very narrow spinal canal. Do your research of his past or just turn around and run.

They were going to get me in 3 days after lab results came in, but I couldn't get set up that fast. Now it's 2 weeks post and pain free for the first time in well over a decade. They also go out of their way to alleviate all worrys and answer every question (believe me I had a bunch). He was out of network with my Cigna so I had a bit more copay, but Dr T is well well worth it.

He's definitely the ankle & foot DOCTOR to see :) & he has great bedside manners. Took his time with my son & made sure to answer all questions & gave so much detailed information about the injury & my sons options. His office is located right behind Honors Health Shea Hospital off 91st. Great location, plenty of parking, easy to get to and great staff. We were greeted by a warm assistant that checked us in and then Shane took my sons X-rays & escorted us into the room to meet with Dr Nassar. I want to give a BIG shout out to Shane who took great care of my son through the whole office experience... great attitude, and full of lots of knowledge. We were able to schedule with Dr Nassar for the achilles surgery, but I tell you this doctor is booked, so if your in need of an orthopedic foot/ankle doctor give him a call and get in there. Terrible communication--an uneasy feeling of broken trust. It felt like anything that didn't fit…read morewith his "assembly-line" approach wasn't welcome--he said the head of my femur was broken off, and I needed surgery urgently but then sent me home for almost 2 weeks before admitting me; meantime, I was disabled/in constant pain. I only saw him personally for initial consult, at which he interrupted me and left room while I was asking questions--and then saw him for about 30 seconds while in preop just prior to surgery and again in postop for about 30 seconds immediately after. There was no other contact with him after surgery, although I was hospitalized. He did not appear for first postop office visit either, which they scheduled with his surgical assistant. At that visit, 6 WEEKS AFTER SURGERY, I was told he had found bacteria DURING surgery and they urgently wanted me to see Infectious Disease doctor now. No explanation as to why I wasn't told this at time of surgery, why referral to specialist wasn't made while I was in hospital, or why no mention of it whatsoever was in op report. (Or for that matter, why he did not see me himself to explain.) Furthermore, the antibiotic prescription given to me (finally) at 6 weeks after surgery had completely wrong RX instructions on the label--directions said "Take 4 by capsules by mouth 1 hour before procedure." I had to call office and ask how they actually intended for me to take the antibiotic--at 6 weeks postop. I gave him 2 stars instead of 1 star because I believe, despite all of the above, he did a good technical job on total hip replacement surgery, as I am in less pain and function appears good after PT/OT assistance.
