Limestone Title and Escrow - Closing Day!

    Limestone Title and Escrow

As a mortgage broker, who you partner with for title services makes a huge difference -- and I…read morecan't say enough good things about Limestone. I've now worked with them on three closings, and each experience has been outstanding. Helen and Tahira go above and beyond to ensure every transaction is smooth and stress-free. I always look forward to seeing Helen at the closing table -- her warm, welcoming presence instantly puts my clients at ease. And when timelines are tight, Tahira always steps up -- working late, solving problems, and doing whatever it takes to get the job done. I highly, highly recommend working with them. They're a true asset to any transaction.

Run, don't walk to another company to entrust with your transaction. Limestone was recommended to…read moreus by our Realtor for the purchase of our new home. Weeks leading up to the closing were fine and uneventful. On closing day, I received a call in the car as we were driving to their office--fifteen minutes before our closing. Was told they just discovered they were missing some paperwork, and we could not close as scheduled. Fifteen minutes before-after having weeks to prepare and doublecheck that everything was in order-- a.k.a. what they were paid to do. Limestone then spent the rest of the day scrambling to fix their error and work with the lender to get things straightened out. We ended up closing later that day after they found the paperwork they needed. It was an unprofessional process, and we received no considerations or apology. Judging by some of the other reviews here, we were not alone in experiencing their unprofessionalism. There's no shortage of these type of companies in the middle Tennessee area. I'd recommend finding one that puts pride into their work, and if something does go wrong, is willing to own it.

Note* I am not one to gate on a company or particular person for a terrible experience but this is…read morea new level of terrible. By far the worst experience I have ever had with any real estate service. About a year ago, a few roommates and I were looking for a place to rent for a year. We thought about all the factors that go into renting a house (neighbors, repairs, cost, etc.) but one thing we did not think about was the Landlord. In our case, Gayle, was the worst landlord in the world. If you ever need to get in touch with the Landlord for maintenance or other issues, good luck. They use google voicemail which means you always get voicemail. She takes up to three weeks to get back to you and does not care about what the issue is. The house we had ended up having mold in it and it wasn't until we threatened to terminate the lease that she finally responded. On Labor Day, which was a Monday, the mail USPS was not working. We have sent in our rent a few days before and it wasn't delivered until the day after memorial day. We were charged with a $115 late fee because the United State Postal Service wasn't working that day. They continued to allow this to accrue for months and finally we ended up with a $250 late fee. (Which the accruing of the fee was not stated in the lease agreement. They made it up to get more money from us.) The company has no online system to pay rent or put in maintenance requests. This old-school model makes leasing from them much harder. Now, months after we have moved out of the place, we still have yet to get our deposit back. We hired a company to clean the inside of the house and we were still charged a $138 cleaning fee. I could go on and on about issues we had but this is more than enough to help explain how terrible this real estate company is. I urge all potential buyers and renters to stay away from Providence Real Estate Group, and if you get Gayle as your Landlord, have fun with the worst experience of your life.

Although we purchased in a different location, we had to stay with Tyler at Marshall Reddick because of the amazing service. After several weeks of research, he found us the next perfect purchase. His connections and network made it possible to get a deal done. We are thankful for him & his team for their efforts. Me and my wife cannot recommend Tyler or Marshall Reddick highly enough.

I explained that I understood repairs could take a few days if something needed to be fixed, but I never expected to deal with ongoing A/C problems for more than 2 months. Since moving in, the A/C has repeatedly stopped working. I have now been informed that drywall will need to be removed so that ductwork can be installed to vents that were apparently never connected to the A/C system. Finding out that the home has missing or improperly connected ductwork after moving in is extremely concerning. I also never received a move-in inspection before taking possession of the property. Because I rented the home sight unseen, I expected there to be an opportunity to document the condition of the property when I moved in. That never happened. Now I'm almost positive I'll lose my security deposit even with all the videos and pictures I took prior to moving my stuff in. If you are considering renting through Marshall Reddick, I would strongly recommend documenting everything yourself, keeping all communication in writing, and thoroughly inspecting the property before signing or taking possession. And if A/C is a BIG make-it or break-it, like it is for me, then good luck trying to get them to put it into your lease contract. They'll just reassure you it will be just fine. Then months later during the summer you barely have A/C.
