    Grazing Greek and Falafels
    Julie L.

I get the grazing greek here. It's my favorite salad, it has olives, feta, and edamame. And I feel super healthy after eating it too! I've also had the falafels and they come with hummus. Grazers has a variety of healthy food options. It's great if you're trying to eat healthy and want to feel full too. Definitely tasty options like mac n cheese too. They have a lot of options where you can personalize wraps, salads, and more. There's also premade salads and wraps to help you out if you're indecisive too! Parking is street parking, which can be hard to find during peak hours and weekends. Also, just a heads up that this place is closed on Sundays.

"Holy aioli" in a wrap, delectable

I hadn't been to Grazers new location yet, and I've been dying to get there. I love the interior, it's so bright fresh and clean. They have a board where you can choose all of your toppings, and also have about 6 featured menu items. I got the baked falafel pita. It was solid. I wouldn't necessarily order the same thing again, but enjoyed it. I got tzatziki sauce, but there was so much on there that I kind of only tasted the sauce. I think I'd get some of the chipotle aioli next time to spice it up. It was about what you'd expect. My wife ordered one of their feature menu items, the "holy aioli" but got it as a wrap instead of on a bed of rice. She said it was delectable and that she wanted to eat it once a week. So much flavor. I really want to get back soon.

I'm so happy to be able to update my review as Grazers is settled into their new location. The new location is placed in a much better spot in Kent. There is free parking right behind the building and is easy to walk to from the downtown area. The inside is much bigger than their previous location. This allows for more seating inside. Also, the interior is very clean and decorated well. They have a large menu with photos of everything you can order. I ordered a salad, pita, and their cilantro lime hummus. The food was delicious! The salad is a big portion size and the hummus was so tasty. My fiancée ordered the Mac n cheese and well... I had to steal a lot of bites....! All the workers are so friendly. It's a great spot that more people should get around to trying!

Bam... best chili so far in 2018

Great place! They have a Belly app coupon for a free hummus. Their Pita chips are only $1.

Delicious food for a reasonable price. They do lack on the veggies though. Chipotle aioli is yummy.

The large wrap is enormous. Easily two meals. It's also totally delicious. I had the grass fed steak on whole wheat.

They were able to immediately accommodate us. Lots of booths and seats, kitchen on the side and restrooms in back. Menu is rather large. Lunch items and Bfast items are available all times which is good! They have lots of homemade everything. From the menu it seems very healthy and good choices. You can get the traditional bfast or you can opt for sandwich, bowl, burrito. Lots of options. I got the black squirrel sandwich. It was very good. And not small. I got a side of home fires which were chunks of potato that were crispy on all sides. Dry but good. They also have hash browns which are shredded. You get lots of side options with your meal. Plus we do have a GF people and they have a lot of GF choices. Everyone else got a few other things like a Reuben sandwich, full Bfast, short stack of pancakes, and everyone was very happy with their choices. My sandwich was very good. Service was friendly and good. Prices are about medium. 2 people will cost with drinks and tip somewhere around $35-$40 or so. Parking is right in front. This is a definite return.

Aside from the experience, they have a massively EXTENSIVE menu! I mean, I'm not exaggerating! Of the many times I've been here, I haven't had the same thing twice. Battleground is an upscale Mexican restaurant that absolutely nails authentic flavor. The food,…read moredrinks, and atmosphere all come together perfectly. The cocktails are creative, balanced, and reasonably priced -- I had the hibiscus mezcal margarita, which had an incredible depth of flavor. For my main, I ordered the Cena de Tacos, which comes with your choice of two out of five sides. I went with a creamy corn bowl and a side of Mexican rice -- both rich, flavorful, and comforting. My wife ordered the shrimp bowl with rice, which was just as delicious. What really stands out here is the authenticity -- every bite tastes like it was crafted with care and respect for traditional Mexican cooking. The interior is classy and modern, yet relaxed enough to feel comfortable. I also love the thoughtful touch of their craft beers being named after social justice initiatives. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. Despite the restaurant being nearly full -- she was quick to serve. If you're looking for genuine Mexican flavors served in an elegant but welcoming setting, Battleground is a must-visit.

But alas, I don't think we will return to The Battleground. The service was awkward. The hosts and our waiter were, for a lack of better words, socially awkward young men dressed like they just left school and may have tossed their backpacks behind the hostess stand. It was a weird contrast for the slightly upscale prices and interior they present. The waiter seemed nervous, which, in itself isn't a bad thing, but they awkwardly lingered when it wasn't necessary and was hard to get their attention when we needed our check and to pay the bill. The food and drinks were a mixed review. The Battleground margaritas were delicious. The chips and salsa were not great, we mostly got a basket of tortilla shards. My partner got three tacos--carne azada, al pastor, and fish. His big takeaway was, "they're not very hot (temperature) and they're kind of bland." Similarly, we got the margs "spicy," but my Texas palate said, "this is spicy?" It had a tajin rim, from what I can figure. ...Maybe we're not the normal Ohioan clientele. A bright note, the refried black beans and esquites were awesome and the esquites big enough to share. I ordered the Pescado Veracruz, the plating and sides were good but the mahi mahi was chewy and only slightly above room temperature. Like I said earlier, maybe I did myself a disservice by hoping to find my new favorite Mexican restaurant... but, I just don't see us going back for great margaritas and sides.
