I ordered the Bombay Buddha Bowl off of their winter 2023 menu. The bowl was a gorgeous array of veggies, including cauliflower rice, curried sweet potatoes, broccoli, purple cabbage, lentils, cilantro, sesame seeds, and cashews, topped with a mildly spicy coconut mango drizzle. This dish was as beautiful as it was delicious, with ingredients that were fresh, artfully prepared & presented with lots of vibrant color. The assorted textures in the dish were nice, with some crunch and some softer textures, all tossed around in a bright dressing that finished it off perfectly. Marigold Home Kitchen, the cafe at Marigold Wellness, is a great bet for any time, but especially for when you're looking for something fresh, healthy, and ready in a jiffy. Much plant-based love to the cafe team at Marigold for offering such attractive, creative, and intentional vegan fare, and for offering a spot where people who choose to eat differently can sit down together and make a new memory over good food.

Marigold has quickly become my go-to place to visit each week! Having gluten and dairy allergies myself, it if so difficult to find a safe place to eat! Marigold is dedicated gluten free and offers safe choices for all types of diets. Not to mention the food and desserts are incredible and healthy! I just can't get enough!

We grabbed menus near the entrance so we could pick what we wanted while waiting in line. When we ordered, there was a place to drop off the menus. On this inaugural visit, I requested the shrimp and grits, fresh orange juice, and beignets. We found a table for four and seated ourselves. The place was nearly full with one room cordoned off for only the busiest of times. While we waited, I visited the jam bar to get some butter. Soon, our food was delivered. The fresh squeezed orange juice was very tasty. I definitely enjoyed that. The portion sizes were good. I was afraid they might be small, given the price. The biscuits were large and good, but they are different than southern style biscuits. They can easily be cut with a fork, but also remain stable enough to eat with your fork after cutting. My shrimp was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. I think they put six medium-large shrimp in the dish. The grits were also not the typical southern style. They were creamy, but still very good. The dish was tasty and very satisfying. The beignets were delicious! They were served with whipped cream and fresh strawberries. Excellent! Our server was friendly and quick. Very good quality. Very good service. The only drawback here is the price. As we exited, the line was out the door.

I got in my car and drove 20 miles to get to YT in Medina. This is the only west side one anywhere. I arrived 1217 - seated immediately, no lines - server instantly at the table and my diet Dr Pepper no ice was immediately delivered as well as a few seconds later my side bowl of chili. I opted to not order my usual and selected the cod entrée which is broiled and very diabetic healthy and the chili was one of my sides. I asked the server if the chili was hot she said no ---lived up to her answer and my expectations. It was not hot, hardly at all, and it was extremely meaty. I expected lots of beans, but the ratio was a lot of meat to a medium beans and it was very well presented in a bowl over a saucer with packets of crackers. I ordered the cod dinner which came with two sides one choice was the chili The other one is fresh fruit. I'm waiting for it to arrive. 12:41 my platter of cod over onions and spinach with fresh fruit just arrived. First thing I noticed was a fishy odor so I'm not excited about that but we shall see. their fresh fruit bowl had 8 different fruits --all fresh that's why I eat here. So I'm diving into very hot onions and spinach very tasty and the right temperature --tartar sauce accompanies this dish and has to be homemade as it has lots of chunks of pickles in it and it's rather tasty as well. Server JENN was very attentive and very pleasant throughout my visit offered me a diet Dr Pepper to go, presented my bill, didn't rush me and wished me a happy Fourth of July. There's not much more you can ask of a restaurant during lunch. I got it all. Everyone that I passed as I walked through the restaurant entering and exiting, spoke to me smiled at me and wished me a day of some sort you can't buy this kind of service. I haven't been to Medina except one other time this year so I'm gonna have to make some plans to return and so should you. Still a dynamite place to drive to, a nice drive if you're coming down from Cleveland or up from Akron and anything I've ever ordered at all the other YTs I visited over 20 years is always to die for and they make everything right, so you have a pleasant visit every single time. They know how to do it and their business plan is exceptional since they've been doing it so splendid for well over 40 years.

That was novel to me and pretty convenient if you wanted to bundle your grocery shopping with lunch/dinner. I ordered chicken and waffles, BF got his biscuits and gravy, his friend got crab cakes and a Rueben. The crab cakes turned out to be a crab cake for $9.99. It was crispy, yes but filled mostly with the cornmeal and not too much crab. My dish was just okay. The chicken pieces were just tenders, not fried chicken pieces off the bone. The French toast pieces were pretty disappointing. I expected a bit more batter or frying done to the bread. They weren't crispy or cooked enough. The bottom two pieces were extremely undercooked and I ended up leaving them even though I'm a clean plate member, haha. I would've added strawberry pieces, or even just a spot of jam to spice it up. Our server was very friendly and talkative. The space wasn't crowded or cramped. It was fine but definitely didn't wow me. I'm okay with not visiting again.
