Well... Well... Well... Grazers has great food... but terrible follow through. Last time we went. It was a Pratt of 8 and maybe half full and we got our food in 2 hours. Yikes right? Now tonight we ordered food explicitly written: tenders with hand cut fries. No fries were made, only 3 tenders in individual boxes costing us quite a bit of money while we were at it. Our order was taken by a friendly professional young woman. Graizer burger, medium, with a side salad, beet salad, Asian sesame wings, and broiled Brussels sprouts. Bees Knees, Lawson's Finest on tap, and a berry mocktail. Kitchen Service was fast but sloppy. The cocktail wasn't stirred to chilled, the burger was cooked deep into well done range, fries were subbed for the salad. The beet salad contained something that resembled an Avocado, but the texture of a slightly over ripe apple. Sprouts were very good, as was the mocktail. The restaurant in general was very clean and had a nice friendly vib. Three stars because when I complained about the salad and overcooked burger they comped it on the bill. read more

We had been looking for restaurants near our hotel in the Burlington area and happened upon Grazers. Reviews looked good so we decided to grab some lunch before our flight home. It was a Saturday at lunchtime and it was not too busy- they sat us right away! I imagine at dinner time this place could get crazy. We decided to order a maple milkshake which did NOT disappoint. My husband got the Farm Burger and fries and I got the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with tots. We ate it all up- happily! The ingredients all seemed fresh. I'd been here several times before, and enjoyed a good burger, but this time was quite disappointing. I wanted to try their Double Bacon Smashburger, as I wasn't in the mood for a regular, thicker burger, and love smash burgers. In case you aren't familiar, "A smash burger is made with a burger patty (or patties) that has been pressed down on a flat top griddle (or in a skillet) to make them thin and as flat as possible. They typically have a crispy texture on the exterior resulting from being pressed down firmly onto a hot surface. " So, when I received two small, thick burgers stacked on top of each other, I explained to the server that these weren't smash burgers, just regular small burgers. She acted like she didn't believe me, said she'd tell the kitchen, and did nothing to remedy the situation. Attached are three pics of one of the burger patties I received, and one of actual smash burgers on a grill. The burger was tasty, yes, but a smash burger? No. In the future, please consider that your customer knows what they're talking about, and teach your cook how to make a smash burger. I also couldn't find the prices for soft drinks anywhere on the menu (look online, you can't find them on the website's regular menu, they are only listed for online orders with delivery or pickup), so ordered a Diet Coke, assuming they would have free refills. Nope! $7 for two small, mostly ice, glasses of tap soda. If I would have known or been told, it would have not been such a negative surprise. read more

For a place that advertises fresh and local they absolutely destroyed the ingredients. Pulled pork sandwich dry like zero sauce and dry to the point neither of my children finished theirs Flourless chocolate cake was again dry and didnt taste fresh and wasnt flourless pretty much just a piece of old hostes cake Vermonter hamburger again dry cooked well instead of medium rare, not enough sauce or blue cheese bacon had been cooked to the point where it tased more like ash than bacon. Quick pickled red onions had zero flavor. Pulled pork poutine wasnt bad. Rodeo burger again dry as a desert ordered medium rare came well done Chicken strips had 2X more batter than chiken and were burned to the point of being inedible Onion rings may have been good but burned Fried pickles had so much breading you couldn't taste the pickle Just an absolute waste of time and money, we will never be back. Its one thing to have something not go right in an order but this was a 100 dollar mistake we could have gad better food at McDonald's and thats just ridiculous. read more

Burger was yummy! Fries well also good. Unfortunately, the chocolate milkshake was like a runny mix of milk and a TON of Hershey's syrup. Super sweet and watery...not at all thick like a milkshake should be. I expressed concern about it to the waitress, but she didn't offer to have it remade or take it off my bill, so whatever. I've been here a bunch of times and have never had a bad experience. My daughter and I love the Poutine and everything we have tried. That being said we both get the same exact thing 90% of the time. The service is always great and the atmosphere is good as well. I'm sad to see the St. Albans location closed because I live in St Albans now. I would recommend Grazers to anyone. read more

We were directed by our local college kiddo to give this place a try as she and her co-workers enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The day we went the ac was broken and it was very warm not their fault they did place fans around the restaurant I felt bad for the kitchen staff. They have the option to make any of their burgers vegetarian by switching out to an impossible patty. We ordered iced teas and they tasted and smelled off just not drinkable in the least. I stuck with the chilled tap water they serve to the table in bottles. I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich it was doused in Buffalo sauce with only the littlest bit of blue cheese crumbles on top to cut the heat, I ate 1/2 and left 1/2. The fries were decent and the appetizer of pretzels we ordered also decent, would I return? Hard pass, the chairs at the high tops and at the bar are the most uncomfortable chairs on earth I get the aesthetic they were going for but uggg just awful. read more

Ordered delivery on DoorDash from Grazers in Williston. The Southern chicken sandwich and "handcut" fries were burnt because they had been cooked in old oil. Neither were edible and were thrown out after we called the resturant who did absolutely nothing. They used the excuse we ordered on door dash so there was nothing they could do .... But they cooked the food! They did not even offer a replacement! The strawberry "milk shake" was milk with strawberry syrup, no ice cream. Door dash refused to issue a refund because it was not their fault the food was burnt. $32 after food and tip and no dinner to be had. Choose a different restaurant. read more

FOOD POISONING!!!: Today I took my fiancé out to an early diner / late lunch... In the past I've had mixed feelings about this place as it has been usually very greasy food, but today after having not been there in a year, the food that came out was kinda bad... The fries were burnt, clearly, someone had taken the crumbs of what was left of a large premade pile of fries and re-fried them a second time, burning them into a dark brown shade that was kind of unpleasant tasting, and kind of stale and hard... The little crumbs of fries were piled into a tiny bowl and that bowl sat on a sad little paper doily on the left side of the plate... in the center of the plate was house made pickles that tasted sort of sweet, like pickle relish but with more sugar to it... but the way it came off the brine of the pickles had a sort of acid reflux kind of flavor to it... like if you drink a lot of orange juice and then go for a run and some of it comes up from the physical work you are doing with a stomach full of orange juice, the pickles reminded me of that flavor... so not great pickling... burnt sad stale cold micro particle fries, tiny little bits about a half inch long piled into a bowl like cereal or nuts... a small portion of really bad fries... but these were not the worst part of the burger meal by far... the absolute worst part was the hamburger it's self... it was a bit shocking, I wasn't sure if I was being picky or just if it was in my head so I had to ask my fiancé to smell it too... THE HAMBURGER MEAT WAS RAW, OBVIOUSLY PRETTY OLD, OBVIOUSLY VERY LOW QUALITY MEAT, lots of unrender fat, and it smelled like garbage, like when you open a trash can outside in the summer and that trash can had kitchen trash in it... it waste a bold trash smell but it was a faint trash smell, because the outer sides of the rare burger were cooked, the inside of the burger was not cooked... there is rare and there is raw... this was raw... and ok... I know rare can be a risky move when ordering at a restaurant... but I'm usually able to handle things just fine if they are too rare because usually restaurants don't allow their food products to rot before they serve it to you... and this is grazers, they pretty much mostly do burgers, how do they have rotten meat? I couldn't believe I was smelling rotten meat so I thought it must just be in my head...... so I ate it anyways... Huge mistake... shortly after I got home my stomach turned and I had to run to the bathroom and I was very very sick... I will not detail the sickness but I'm positive I have food poisoning... I think I'm ok and don't need to go to the hospital but this seemed like a last straw and finally it is time to warn people about this... My fiancé ordered a hamburger medium which thankfully came out very well done... so whatever attacked my stomach was likely burned out of her burger when it was overcooked... but her burger had an incredible unedable amount of jalapeños in it she had to take out 3/4 of... the jalapeños I tasted them, they had been allowed to age, when you age a jalapeño the oil in the seeds becomes much more spicy, what is a zesty spice flavor becomes punishing and completely eye watering and destroying your ability to taste anything else... Our food felt like a prank... we were polite, we didn't know anyone there... I spent 40 dollars on 2 meals that were objectively offensive... WE WILL NEVER GO BACK! I do not want an apology, I don't want a coupon, I don't want an explanation... People, please be careful and just don't eat there. I'm lucky enough and I have a tough stomach so it wasn't worse, but this could have been a lot worse... This restaurant seems to mostly attract people who want to get very drunk in public while eating which is why we hadn't been back in a long time, we thought coming at 4:30 would make for a more relaxed atmosphere that would make the place enjoyable...... instead of enjoying our meal I was shocked by an alarming smell from my burger, and really disappointed by the French fries... This place is currently the worst restaurant I know of in the area... we will never go there again... and it felt like a moral duty to report this event here and publicly warn others to avoid this place as well or if you can't avoid it, please be very careful what and how you order and examine your food carefully before attempting to ingest it... Grazers was a huge disappointment. My wife and I were part of a group of seven. My wife ordered the poutine with pulled pork and I ordered the double bacon smash burger. I specified gravy for the fries. My order came first, and I was surprised by the nature of the gravy. Expecting a more or less standard brown gravy with a beef heritage what I received was an off-white pasty concoction that looked like poorly mixed wallpaper paste. It tasted just as bad as it looked. No flavor whatsoever. In addition, the smash burger patties were cooked so long on the grill that the entire consistency of the meat was nearly that of charcoal. When my wife's order came, it too was piled up high with the same ersatz gravy. Underneath was found only a few scraps of pulled pork, not worth the additional price of the order. Our overall assessment: The kitchen staff needs retraining, especially about the making of gravy. Poutine should, in the Quebec tradition be always made with Velouté, or at least with a rich thin beefy ambrosia. As to the smash burger patties, only the edges should have been crispy with the remainder of the patties still juicy and well-seasoned. read more

Who comes to a Burger joint and order a cheese plate? ME! We're in Vermont and I missed their cheese, so don't judge me. I originally ordered the poutine but they were out of the cheese curds, so I ended up getting the VT Cheese plate because why wouldn't you eat cheese when you're in Vermont? It has Vermont local cheeses, candied walnuts, seasonal fruit, local honey, dried cranberries, and crackers. Honestly, it was delicious and I enjoyed it. However, my friends and husband's dishes were ok, so I wasn't that impressed. They did have good beer options though so I will give them that. The final rating came to the service, once our food arrived, our waitress was nowhere to be found and it took us awhile to get our bill. Glad we tried it, but not impressed. read more

We actually ate lunch at the Grazers on Main St in Winooksi and we had the best server! We thought we wanted to eat outside but it was a little windy, so he let us go back inside with all of our food! The fried mozzarella sticks were amazing and definitely worth the calories! read more

Food was very bland, probably worst cheesesteak and southern chicken sandwich ever tried. Fries and tots were oily and rubbery. Our orders also came out wrong- asked for no pickled onions, came out with pickled onions. Asked for special sauce on the side, sandwich came out with a load of the sauce on it. The fried pickles were the only good thing served. Server was friendly but it didn't make up for the poor service. Every step took forever from receiving utensils, appetizer plates, entrees, and the check. There weren't many guests either so unsure why the slow service. Stopped in before taking family to the airport after following on social media. Wasn't busy inside. One customer at the bar and two people at the high top. Two other tables inside just left. The burgers are decent, the fries are good, but the milkshakes fall way short Interestingly, the best item on the menu are the brussels sprouts. Switching this down to one star. We have tried eating here over the past year and there hasn't been a time they haven't messed it up. They either mix up the order, lose the order, or take forever to get it out. They have often blamed their online ordering system so today we tried calling and they still have us the wrong food but tried to tell us it was the right food. The best they did was kero the incorrect order and give us a refund and send us on our way empty handed. I don't know what happened to this place. I had enjoyed it for years then suddenly its like they went under new management where the policy is now, make the customer experience as bad ss possible. I'd give half a star if I could. Waited for 30 min after ordering drinks with no service. Went to pay for drinks and leave and every waitress looking at me from the kitchen and bar refused to come to the counter, including our server. Finally bus girl came and got our server to come help us. Server apologized and said drinks were free, and we left. This was our 2nd experience here... the first time two people in our party ordered Mac and cheese and were not notified that they were out of Mac and cheese until everyone else's food was out. Their meals were comped and they got to choose something else for free. Family member wondered if restaurant staff was being prejudice or rude.... it's Vermont so every other table had only white customers and of course all of them received great service and food. SEVERAL VEGAN BURGER OPTIONS & SWEET POTATO FRIES We had a crazy day moving into our son into his first home with an Airbnb, so we ordered take-out on this particular Friday evening. Wanted to check out local options to recommend to his guests. Great place to order take-out because they're right up the street, it was getting late, and Grazers offered several types of vegan burgers. Win-win-win. Somehow I goofed on the online ordering, wanting the sauce on the side. Instead, I got no sauce at all. Very disappointing. A burger with no sauce. Damn. Could have been better, I'm sure. This is for the Maple Tree Place restaurant. Twice in a row I have been dissatisfied. Last week, I ordered a Grazers Hot Honey chicken sandwich. There wasn't any sauce and the chicken was extremely rough. Haven't had a horrible experience in the past with Grazers so I thought I would get lunch there again today. Ordered the Popper Burger (cooked medium), which includes bacon, ranch and habanero cheddar. The burger did not have any bacon, ranch or cheddar at all on it. Not to mention the burger was cooked well done. I used to eat at this place often before the pandemic. Not anymore. Additionally, the loaded tater tots were overcooked and chewy. We were excited to try some burgers here. Our server seemed really annoyed when we asked for some changes to our burgers, gf options or extra spice. Our food arrived cold, burgers were rare and missing half of what we asked for on them.
