Pizza

This place is amazing the staff and atmosphere and the authenticity in the food the flavor is amazing and the place is nice and clean definitely the best pizza in Charleston!!

Great fresh slices! Pizza was very flavorful! I loved the veggie pizza! Service was fast & very friendly during lunch! We didn't dine in, but there was ample seating to do so!

Large with pepperoni. Half with mushrooms and sausage.

I was in Charleston overnight on a Saturday with my family. I promised my daughter pizza and Pies and Pints had a wait. This place got us some pretty delicious pizza quickly. Everyone was happy. We ordered a large and it was piping hot, much better than the slices appeared to be. Good value. Only slight ding for the lighting and slightly dirty condition of the dining area. The staff was hustling though. I would return for a quick bite if I was here again.

I love Graziano's Pizza and I have loved this pizza for over 35 yrs. When I was in high school in 1982, we would walk the 10-12 blocks just to eat here for lunch or after school. Then as an adult I worked nearby for years, SO I was able to eat her almost weekly and sometimes daily. They make the best NY style pizza and my favorite is the supreme but even the plain ole cheese is a winner too!! When I was pregnant with my first child 34 yrs ago, I craved Graziano's Cheese pizza only and ate it daily...lol !!! I was able to get a parking space at the meter out front for only .25 and dashed inside to get into line at the counter to order my 2 slices of supreme pizza to go. $8.63 with taxes and off I go within 10 minutes of parking. The staff is always nice and friendly and I learned from the cashier if you work for the State of WV you get a discount!!!!! Cha-Ching!!!! The Best Pizza in Charleston in my book for many glorious years!!!!

Called to order, put on hold-forgot they told me to hold. Went to restaurant to order. Screwed up the order. Cashier yelled at cook about not being able to read the order. Cook yelled back. Afraid he would spit on my order. Yikes! Got a refund

If you are a fan of NY style pizza like I do then you have to try Graziano's. It's a family run place led by Joe Graziano from Sicily. He's been doing it since 1975. Graziano's makes more than just pizza. You can get other great dishes from sandwiches, calzones, eggplant, pasta dishes, and desserts to name a few. And their rolls are awesome. Everything is made fresh daily. I always get a pizza with sausage, pepperoni, and onions. They make their own sausage and it is exquisite. The crust is thin, crispy, light, and flavorful. The stone the pizza bakes on in the oven creates the perfect pizza. My wife got the anti pasta salad with a roll.

First off Google Maps and Apple Maps both have this location listed in the wrong area when you use you GPS. *Note it's located right next to the Kroger in the shopping center beside it* I got a pepperoni calzone that was good even though it didn't have ricotta cheese in it (that's how I normally like them). It was a large portion and priced just right. The atmosphere was to be expected of a little pizza joint. Nothing too special but it was clean and had a good amount of people. If I lived in the area I would definitely come back.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Need i say more? Those two lines were written more than a month ago, it didnt post. We are back again as we are road tripping through WVa. I really enjoy the crust of the pizza here, the flavors really come out, today was the slice of stuffed meat and a slice of spinach pizza.

My boys and I were passing through Charleston, WV on our way to my mom's house for Christmas break and we stopped here to eat dinner. We were planning on going to Pies & Pints, but that wait was over an hour. With two hungry children and three more hours of driving to go, I decided to see if Graziano's was open, and it was! I remember coming here a few times for lunch when I was working in the Chase Tower in downtown Charleston, WV, and I did quite like their pizza. So I knew the boys and I would be satisfied and they would able to make it the rest of the drive without complaining. I give them 2-stars for a few reasons. Firstly, the woman (presumably the owner) who took our order was not very friendly. I mentioned to her that I used to live in Charleston, WV and had eaten at her establishment several times before, but we moved to a different state, and I wanted my boys to try her pizza. She seemed annoyed that we wanted to eat in the dining room (even though the dining room was open for another hour). Well, where else are we supposed to eat, the car? Secondly, she constantly glared at my boys and admonished them because they were excited about the pizza and sodas they were about to eat. She told them Santa worked next door and that he wasn't going to give them gifts if they didn't settle down (they weren't rambunctious, and believe me, if they were I wouldn't have been annoyed with her for admonishing them. After all, it takes a village). I don't think it's very nice to threaten someone else's children with lack of Santa. Thirdly, the woman complained to me about her daughter (who was there working and overheard her!) and how her grandson has to live with her, giving me personal details about her daughter that a customer did not need to know. And lastly, the pizza was just okay. Standard. Nothing to write home about. The dough was okay, the sauce was not flavorful, and the cheese was also just okay. However, on the plus side, our half-pepperoni/half-cheese pizza came out in a matter of minutes and was piping hot! We actually had to wait a bit before we could dig in. The ladies bathroom is old, not terribly clean, and the wallpaper is peeling off, as well as there are some rusty elements inside. They have stacks and stacks of boxes against a wall on the way to the bathroom, and on the first table and seats of the dining room. Kinda weird. Not sure I like the idea that anyone can just touch (or worse - sneeze on!) the takeaway boxes in which food goes. And it certainly does not add to the ambiance. The dining room is also very dark. I don't mind dim lighting when I'm eating but there were no lights on at all in the dining area, the light we used to see our food came from the kitchen and one light in the vestibule for the bathrooms in the back. Next time I'm passing through Charleston, WV or visiting one of my many friends that live there, I won't be coming back to Graziano's. I'll make sure to order ahead or make a reservation at Pies & Pints!

Have to say this is some of the best pizza in town. My favorite thing is their baked cheese sticks! Check them out

Lots of flies/gnats swarming and landing on me. Shady-looking employees. Won't be coming back to this location.

The food was good, but the dining area needs some updating such as more lighting. It's dark as a dungeon in there.

I wanted to try something new and interesting and through my Yelp research I found this spot. It's located in downtown with metered street parking free Monday-Saturday nights after 6pm and all of Sunday. Luckily, we were able to find a spot easily. Inside was modern and relatively clean. We had to wait a little bit to be seated as they were pretty busy; however, this place had a decent amount of seating and space. Service was good overall, but it wasn't as consistent as I would've liked for actions such as water refills, asking for extra napkins, etc. This was partly because they were very busy that night. They have a variety of food options - apps, salads, sandwiches, pies (pizzas), and dessert. We ended up ordering a large pizza (thin crust) to split - half Thai and half Chicken Gouda. Both were yummy although the crust was a tad burnt - nothing bad to the extent that taking bites were an effort. Overall, I preferred the Thai since I've never come across a Thai style pizza and I could really taste the curry sauce. The only downside of the Thai was that the shrimp were slightly overcooked, which could be potentially explained by us ordering a pizza split in two styles with them cooking the entire pizza evenly versus what is needed for each ingredient. We finished the entire pizza between the two of us, but I could see someone having some leftovers. If possible, they might want to do some minor pest management. The entire time of our visit a fruit fly or gnat was hovering around us and the food. We tried to catch it and protect the food, only for it to ultimately take a permanent dip in my water. My overall assessment was that it was a good place to try in the city. It's not something I would crave, but I wouldn't mind coming back again if I was in the area.

We were surprised that the food was out in like 15 minutes. We fully expected to wait since Detroit Deep Dish normally takes 30 minutes to 45 minutes to cook fully. This led us to believe it was PAR BAKED for faster Customer Service which to many is NOT A PLUS! The Garlic Knots were very doughy and extremely dense in texture. Not a fan! The service was fast and friendly but for the atmosphere, price and the fact they are trying to be trendy, the paper plates & plastic cutlery was a BIG NEGATIVE!! I know myself even if Melanac Hard Plastic for plates is okay, but I want true Silverware!! The sauce has a really Great flavor and the cheese pull was very nice on the pizza. The sauce served on top, a big big plus!! I live in Ripley, WV and drove 35 minutes one way to enjoy this meal, but the question is...would I do it again?? Probably NOT! I give them a 5 out of 5 on atmosphere and ambience they nailed that! I give them a 4 out 5 on Customer Service because the food came too fast!! I give them a 3 out 5 for the food, the sauce was perfect but everything else about taste and flavor was a hit and miss. The score might have been higher if I had left off the Knotty Boy Garlic Knots!! The beer though I tasted it wasnt bad but Im not a beer drinker, my hubby was very disappointed so thats 2 out of 5 stars and the tableware scores a zero!! I wasn't on a picnic and the paper and plastic screams picnic or lazy kitchen staff to me!! So, would I recommend? I must say overall, 3 stars out of 5 stars!
