Not the healthiest choice but it was super convenient to pop in at lunch time, get a slice and eat it in the van as I drove on to the next destination. Lots and lots of options for pizza and pasta that was ready to heat, it was a tough choice. BBQ Chicken, Meat, Margherita, Veggies, and even a Stuffed Pizza. I was in Charleston overnight on a Saturday with my family. I promised my daughter pizza and Pies and Pints had a wait. This place got us some pretty delicious pizza quickly. Everyone was happy. We ordered a large and it was piping hot, much better than the slices appeared to be. Good value. Only slight ding for the lighting and slightly dirty condition of the dining area. I love Graziano's Pizza and I have loved this pizza for over 35 yrs. When I was in high school in 1982, we would walk the 10-12 blocks just to eat here for lunch or after school. Then as an adult I worked nearby for years, SO I was able to eat her almost weekly and sometimes daily. They make the best NY style pizza and my favorite is the supreme but even the plain ole cheese is a winner too!! When I was pregnant with my first child 34 yrs ago, I craved Graziano's Cheese pizza only and ate it daily...lol !!! I was able to get a parking space at the meter out front for only .25 and dashed inside to get into line at the counter to order my 2 slices of supreme pizza to go. $8.63 with taxes and off I go within 10 minutes of parking. The staff is always nice and friendly and I learned from the cashier if you work for the State of WV you get a discount!!!!! Cha-Ching!!!! My wife and I took my grandson here for a late lunch around 2:30 pm after visiting the Clay Center. There was no wait and the lady taking our order was friendly. We got a large pepperoni and fountain drinks. The fountain drinks were cold and tasty and the pizza came out hot and fresh in about 15 minutes. They use large pepperoni and it covers the whole pizza pretty well. The only downside to this meal is the dark, dingy, dining room. I think it could be brightened up by replacing the yellow bulbs with led daylight bulbs in the chandeliers. A quick and easy fix. The building is old and the interior shows its age. Maybe that is why they keep it so dark in there. The bathroom was not very clean with cobwebs and rusty features. The pizza is tasty so if you have a reason to be downtown then it is worth a visit. Otherwise, I think the Dunbar or Riverwalk location is a better choice. read more

If you are a fan of NY style pizza like I do then you have to try Graziano's. It's a family run place led by Joe Graziano from Sicily. He's been doing it since 1975. Graziano's makes more than just pizza. You can get other great dishes from sandwiches, calzones, eggplant, pasta dishes, and desserts to name a few. And their rolls are awesome. Everything is made fresh daily. I always get a pizza with sausage, pepperoni, and onions. They make their own sausage and it is exquisite. The crust is thin, crispy, light, and flavorful. The stone the pizza bakes on in the oven creates the perfect pizza. My wife got the anti pasta salad with a roll. read more

Yep, pizza by the slice is on point. Fast & cheap. Parking can be tricky, but it's worth it.

First off Google Maps and Apple Maps both have this location listed in the wrong area when you use you GPS. *Note it's located right next to the Kroger in the shopping center beside it* I got a pepperoni calzone that was good even though it didn't have ricotta cheese in it (that's how I normally like them). It was a large portion and priced just right. The atmosphere was to be expected of a little pizza joint. Nothing too special but it was clean and had a good amount of people. I'm sure the pizza is good but this review is based on customer service. There is one employee in particular, a short haired middle aged blonde woman. I pick up as a delivery driver quite often. I represent their customers when I am there and repeatedly get ignored or treated rudely by her. And only her. I pick up from dozens of local restaurants and never get treated this way. I can understand someone having a bad day, but this has been consistent. It makes me not want to accept orders from this restaurant. I'll have to start informing my customers of this treatment, since she is in effect treating them this rudely. read more

My boys and I were passing through Charleston, WV on our way to my mom's house for Christmas break and we stopped here to eat dinner. We were planning on going to Pies & Pints, but that wait was over an hour. With two hungry children and three more hours of driving to go, I decided to see if Graziano's was open, and it was! I remember coming here a few times for lunch when I was working in the Chase Tower in downtown Charleston, WV, and I did quite like their pizza. So I knew the boys and I would be satisfied and they would able to make it the rest of the drive without complaining. I give them 2-stars for a few reasons. Firstly, the woman (presumably the owner) who took our order was not very friendly. I mentioned to her that I used to live in Charleston, WV and had eaten at her establishment several times before, but we moved to a different state, and I wanted my boys to try her pizza. She seemed annoyed that we wanted to eat in the dining room (even though the dining room was open for another hour). Well, where else are we supposed to eat, the car? Secondly, she constantly glared at my boys and admonished them because they were excited about the pizza and sodas they were about to eat. She told them Santa worked next door and that he wasn't going to give them gifts if they didn't settle down (they weren't rambunctious, and believe me, if they were I wouldn't have been annoyed with her for admonishing them. After all, it takes a village). I don't think it's very nice to threaten someone else's children with lack of Santa. Thirdly, the woman complained to me about her daughter (who was there working and overheard her!) and how her grandson has to live with her, giving me personal details about her daughter that a customer did not need to know. And lastly, the pizza was just okay. Standard. Nothing to write home about. The dough was okay, the sauce was not flavorful, and the cheese was also just okay. However, on the plus side, our half-pepperoni/half-cheese pizza came out in a matter of minutes and was piping hot! We actually had to wait a bit before we could dig in. The ladies bathroom is old, not terribly clean, and the wallpaper is peeling off, as well as there are some rusty elements inside. They have stacks and stacks of boxes against a wall on the way to the bathroom, and on the first table and seats of the dining room. Kinda weird. Not sure I like the idea that anyone can just touch (or worse - sneeze on!) the takeaway boxes in which food goes. And it certainly does not add to the ambiance. The dining room is also very dark. I don't mind dim lighting when I'm eating but there were no lights on at all in the dining area, the light we used to see our food came from the kitchen and one light in the vestibule for the bathrooms in the back. Next time I'm passing through Charleston, WV or visiting one of my many friends that live there, I won't be coming back to Graziano's. I'll make sure to order ahead or make a reservation at Pies & Pints! read more

Graziano's is a real gem! I absolutely love their pizza. It's about the closest thing you'll get to New York style pizza in the Mountain State. A great crispy crust with the perfect amount of chewiness is what makes their pizza so special. I also love that they sell their various pizzas by the slice, so that you can try their many different offerings without committing to an entire pizza. For years I've been coming here when I would visit the area, but this was my girlfriend's first time. When she looked it up online she seemed a little unimpressed, but once she finally bit into a slice she was a believer. She said it's easily her favorite pizza she's had in WV. read more

HORRIBLE! I've never had this bad of lasagna.. ordered 2 orders for delivery they Ben showed. When they called to say order was dropped off. Not at my house it was not. I called back. We have been on a road trip through West a Virginia searching for the best pepperoni rolls. This morning we received a recommendation (from the owner of First Watch in Charleston, WV) to go to Graziano's Pizza for the best pepperoni rolls. We walked in and were instantly greeted. We let them know we were recommended to get their pepperoni rolls and they made us a fresh pepperoni roll with cheese on top and marinara sauce as well as a side of garlic sauce. I was already full from our breakfast but one smell of the fresh pepperoni roll and I had to try a bite! The cheese was melted and so delicious. This pepperoni roll has the PERFECT amount of crust around pepperoni slices and more cheese. Not sure if they make their marinara in house or not but it was so good! So far on this pepperoni roll search I believe we found #1!! Thank you Graziano's! I can't wait to come back for more!!! I would consider even ordering them online!!! read more

At the very least, the food's somewhat decent- service sucked! Dude in the back was mad because I ordered a "to go" order at 7:55pm and the lady at the front that took my order was mumbling under her breath. I should have taken my business somewhere else... as a visitor from Texas, is this what you have to offer Charleston? I have been ordering pizzas and eating in the restaurant for the better part of 40 years. Unfortunately my experiences recently have shown there's been quite a decline, at least if you are ordering a pizza for delivery. It seems that whomever takes the orders does not take the time to write down what you are requesting with any precision. The last three orders I have placed for delivery have arrived, been paid for and brought to the kitchen - at which time I find out that the pizzas are not made with the toppings I requested and for which I paid. Such a careless and indifferent attitude towards what the customer is ordering seems to be the new standard at Graziano's. While in the past I would've given this place very high rating, these days the best I can do is one star because they do not ever deliver the food that I have ordered. When I have called upon discovering the pizza has been made incorrectly, to point out the errors, I am never offered credit in the future or anything other than "we can make a new pizza and have it for you in an hour to an hour and a half". After having already waited for more than an hour for the first pizza this is not an acceptable solution especially when you have hungry kids. It has gotten to the point where I doubt I will order from this place again since by doing so I am just wasting my money on food I did not want. read more

The lady at the cash register clearly does not want to be working at this place, at least at 7:30 p.m. on a Saturday night. She was oozing a bad attitude. Maybe she was having a bad day. She was in a hurry to get our order. Even though the place closes at 8 they act like they don't want to put any orders in after 7:30. Then at precisely 8 p.m. She pulls this barrier blocking the dining room while people are still in there eating. I wanted to eat at this locally owned joint to support it but the lady needs some lessons in customer service. The two guys working there seemed to have an understanding of service. Just visited this evening. We walked in on a Saturday night around 5:30PM... It was dead. Only one table in the dining room and the pizza looked like it had been sitting on display for an hour. It took a few minutes to get somebody to help us. I ordered the tortellini... I was disappointed. It looked really good but he scooped it out and threw it in the microwave... Really? Microwave? It's pasta! The sauce was kind of bland and it was just not anything to brag about. Very disappointed. We opted to order a fresh pizza and it was good. The only reason I'm giving three stars is because the pizza was authentic and not like the crappy chains. The people behind the counter were mostly nice. There was a lady that seemed like she was disgruntled but whatever. If your food is good you can afford to treat people poorly but when the food is wishy washy you need to keep that smile on your face! Would I return? Probably not. Was it good? Fresh pizza was good. This restaurant is terrible. Terrible food and terrible service. They forgot my order, rushed my food and provided no compensation. They served me my food late and undercooked. They redid it two more times and failed every time. After asking for a refund I was told it was my fault. They have flies sitting on all of their "fresh" pizza. When I pointed the flies I out they didn't even make an effort to swat them away. All I can say is this establishment really put a damper on my 18th birthday!! read more

Pizza rolls did not disappoint. They are quite large. Whole family enjoyed. Staff was very friendly.

Pleasantly surprised. The staff was pressed and a bit curt. However the food made up for it. My daughter requested spaghetti and meatballs and rolls she loves their rolls. I was in and out in 12 minutes at 4:30pm. Very large portions. Her spaghetti small dinner filled the clamshell container. I ordered the stuffed pizza no sauce and cheese. The pizza is excellent. No dry dough here. You won't need the sauce but it is quote a treat to dip the stuffed crusts in. My daughter devoured her spaghetti and commented she was happy with the size of the pasta because it was so filling. The pizza by the slice was pricey but everything else was moderately priced. Disgusting. The food was precooked and horrible. They warmed it up for like five minutes but it was still pretty chilly and the cheese was not at all melty. My friend and I both got different things. They were both terrible. We also got a bag of cheap, nasty, no-name, chips. I didn't get a soda but my friend got one and he described it as mop water tasting. I will never eat here again.
