Later he was able to get us a pass so we can go there on our own, too. There never was any pressure to be done selecting the fabrics to start work, and we certainly took our time to find the right colors and materials. Because that selection is very important and he is cognizant of it. When the selection was done, he came to us to pick everything up and did the work quicker than we thought it would have been possible since we extended the scope of the work on the fly: we decided to replace all the existing 23 year old seat and back foam in addition to re-upholstering, also grease up the rotating stools, add nonscratch pads to legs, and apply two layers of Scotchguard. Everything happened smoothly, with wonderful timely communication along the way, and finally delivery with everything carefully wrapped up in plastic for protection. The final result vowed us! I called Brian and arranged to drop off the cushions and one chair frame at his garage workshop. He had a large selection of vinyl fabrics and sample swatches to select from. I brought my paint chip to help select the color I needed. He also had foam samples, so I could select the firmness I needed. Brian was great to work with. He ordered the fabric, created new wood bases and cut new foam for the cushion. He had the four cushions ready in about two weeks just as he promised. The price with labor and materials was $115 per seat cushion which was very reasonable. His craftsmanship is excellent and the seats feel like soft leather even though they are vinyl and easy to wipe clean.
