We needed our barstool seats reupholstered and I wanted to use a shop close to home. I'm so glad I discovered this business! Elvira worked with me to find the perfect fabric and they turned out beautiful! I was not looking to replace my stools because I really liked the style so finding someone who could make them look better than new was awesome. Now I'm looking around my house to find something else I'd like to refresh! Thank you Elvira and South Upholstery!!

After searching for months for someone to reupholster an old special chair, we had a wonderful experience with South Upholstery. It was well with the drive from Beacon Hill - other closer upholstery shops I had reached out to were not responsive, overpriced, or had a two year waiting list and were not accepting new jobs. South Upholstery was reasonably priced and a pleasure to work with. Great people and great business!!

We needed to replace the upholstery on our boat and South Upholstery did a great job! They offer a wide variety of vinyls and are extremely accommodating to working with your design. Their attention to details is amazing and it shows that they really care about what they do. They were also very responsive through phone calls and texts through the entire process and ended up finishing the project way ahead of schedule. We're so happy with how everything turned out!

The Shark…read morehas been fine, it's needed a brush replacement and plenty of filter replacements and cleanings as it's bagless, but it's just not really keeping up with our two dogs and current lifestyle. Amanda greeted me right away and started getting information on what I was looking for, what machine I have currently, aspects of my house layout that might impact my decision, etc. My own research on what to get next led me to SEBO, and Amanda demo'd both the Felix (which is what I was originally thinking would be a good fit) and the E3 (which ended up being a better fit and what I ended up going with). The E3 has been amazing. It doesn't try to sell you with all kinds of gimmicky technology, sensors, systems, etc. It has just enough to make sure I am at the right brush height, don't have anything stuck, and can alert me to when the bag needs changing. The SEBO does as well in one pass as the Shark would do only after I took a rubber broom to loosen up all the embedded dog hair, and it can get all the way under furniture my Shark had no chance to get under because it can lay practically flat. And the kicker? It's even quieter than the Shark. I never thought I'd be spending four-digits on a vacuum cleaner but, like with my Herman Miller office chair, this is one of those buy once, cry once kind of things (or at least buy once every decade or more kind of things). The warranty is fantastic and knowing I can just bring it to my closest Quality S&V location for service is even better. No futzing with online claims, no shipping, no waiting for contractors to come out, I can just bring it in locally. Thanks Amanda, and thanks Quality Sewing & Vacuum! :)

Great store, super helpful staff. My new sewing machine had a glitch that I couldn't figure out…read more When I took it to the store, of course it worked perfectly. They said to bring it back if it acted up again, which it did almost as soon as I began sewing again. I returned to the store and they gave me a replacement machine immediately. Gracious, helpful, responsive. My new machine (Bably Lock Jubilant) sews perfectly now. I love it. I'll attend a class next week to learn how to maximize its features. Super impressed.

I stopped in to buy some Easter basket items and picked up a "Make It Real fashion sketchbook". I…read moredidn't realize the one I grabbed was missing a price tag, but similar items were reasonably priced. At checkout, the cashier asked the manager to confirm the price. Instead of walking over to look at the product--despite being only about 12 feet away--he glanced from a distance, checked his phone for a moment, and told her it was $13.99. That didn't sit right with me, so after paying, Something didn't feel right so I went back to check the shelf myself. The exact same item was clearly marked $5.79. I brought the correctly priced item and photos to the manager. He offered no apology and simply said the online price he saw was higher. When I returned to the register to correct the purchase, he brushed it off again, saying the item "must have been marked wrong." The issue isn't just the price difference--it's the lack of effort and accountability. The manager didn't take a moment to walk over and verify the product, didn't check the shelf, and didn't seem concerned about overcharging a customer by more than double. Not everyone can absorb that kind of mistake, and customers shouldn't have to double-check basic accuracy. Do better. Customers trust matters, and so does taking the time to get it right. Customers should trust the store to be accurate and fair the first time.

I had a disappointing experience at this Hobby Lobby location…read more I approached an employee who appeared to be a manager after hearing a "Code 7" call and seeing her quickly come over to the party decorations section where she was organizing merchandise. I politely said, "Excuse me, ma'am, could I ask for help with something?" Before I could even finish my question, she completely ignored me. She didn't look at me, turn toward me, or acknowledge that I was speaking to her. After waiting a few seconds, I felt awkward and said, "Oh, never mind," and started to walk away. That's when she responded with, "I'm waiting," in a tone that came across as rude and impatient. I then asked whether they had a specific item in stock. She told me no and said she had supposedly placed an order that morning and was waiting for it to arrive, but it never came. The explanation was unclear and not very helpful. What made the experience worse was the overall atmosphere. Several employees seemed unfriendly, and I felt like I was being looked at rudely while shopping. Additionally, there appeared to be numerous employees standing around the checkout area, yet very few were actively helping customers or processing purchases, which was frustrating to see. Customer service can make a huge difference in a shopping experience, and unfortunately, this visit left me feeling unwelcome and dismissed. Just to be kind, i got my $5 worth of stickers and wil be spending $50+ at michael's instead.

He is definitely an artist. Everyone that has seen the chairs so far has been jaw dropped. Extremely professional, reliable and amazing quality work. Will definitely recommend him to everyone. I had two camel back sofa's uphostered by Paul. These were 25 year old reproduction antique's that are in a room that we entertain in often. I wanted the updated versions to be delightful to look at and be able to handle the wear & tear. What won me over was Paul's respectful appraisal of my furniture and his knowledge of the intricate work that would be necessary. Paul picks up and delivers the furniture which was an added plus to his very fair fee quote. It was an absolute pleasure to work with a business that offered the integrity Designer's Choice does. He responded to communication inquiries quickly and honestly. He gave an accurate estimate of turn around time. We were expecting these just prior to Thansgiving. Then we had the big snow storm. He had finished the work but it looked like we were going to have to wait to receive the furniture. But lo and behold on Thanksgiving morning up he rolls with my furniture and I was dancing with excitement by the amazing work he had done. It was beyond better than I had envisioned. I will use Paul again and genuinely recommend ths talented, hard working upholstery company. PY; Redmond, WA
