Always quality service. They are quick but don't miss a beat and recommendations are important. I don't trust my cars to anyone else.

As a female, I know how I have been scammed by mechanics. So I found true value in Christian Brothers Automotive-Peoria, Lake Pleasant Pkwy! I found this establishment via word of mouth from all the way in Michigan. Their reputation precedes itself. They are honest, knowledgeable, fair and they provide quality service. Tom, and the entire staff served with a smile. Overall, I would highly recommend this Christian Brother Automotive to anyone. We'll stick with them!

Without indicating there was ANY cost involved whatsoever, Front Desk Guy sweetly asked "would you like us to give it a once-over?" Which, since I was at that time a regular customer, I THOUGHT that meant just give it a safety-check out of courtesy to a repeat, publicly complimentary, senior-citizen client that they maybe cared for! How wrong I was. After having it several days, they tell me that they can't fix the original problem because they "Couldn't find the part - and wouldn't install an after-market part off of Ebay" (My car is a 1999 w/ low mileage) Then the real Clinker after 3 days: They call and say, "We couldn't fix your problem, but come and get your truck and pay Christian Bro's nearly $200 bucks for a "diagnostic" that I WAS NOT INFORMED UP FRONT would cost anything at all! But also, this 'Diagnostic' informs me that my truck needs OVER $4300 DOLLARS in servicings and repairs - Including NEW BRAKES that, apparently the "Diagnostic expert" wasn't aware had been replaced by them on that very truck a few months earlier! I felt totally taken advantage of and complained to the manager, John, who gave me some "yada yada" and stated that that particular employee working the front desk was fired - However, and this is the whole point of the story - This manager of this multi-million dollar, allegedly 'Christian', gold-mine on the corner of Thunderbird & 75th Ave would NOT refund all, or any part, of this deceitful charge with a humble apology for their unscrupulous employee (note: Failure to disclose a COST right up front is a LIE ) Not only that, but Upsell #1 opened the door for MEGA-UPSELL #2 of $4,319 dollars! I STILL look back at this lengthy report with shock and awe. According to this diagnostic that I didn't ask for, there's no reason, whatsoever, my truck is still able to roll down the street. According to them, practically EVERYTHING on my vehicle is on it's last couple of miles.; Lastly, and final insult to my patronage, my age, my intelligence, nor would Christian Brothers even offer a discount or a half-off on the next visit to them. You know, a way of saying, "We still want your business". I think they saw a senior-woman and saw a dumb sucker ready to be plucked out of the stream of suckers. In that lone experience, I learned Christian Brothers is all about "Show me the $ MONEY $" They are only after the money, and customer retention is completely moot. They could care LESS if you are a returning customer. I am no longer using Christian Brothers for any auto repair needs. If anyone knows of an HONEST, caring, competent auto mechanic around Peoria/Glendale please be so kind as to DM me. I'm shopping for one. **I tried to scan & copy the actual Invoice from this incident, but for some technological mystery beyond me - I couldn't get this file search in Yelp to access where I am sure I put the two files.**

Today, however, Loverly went above and beyond to help make sure I received what I needed. She was incredibly helpful and took the time to assist me, something I haven't experienced on my previous visits. In the past, I was simply told that they couldn't control what printed and that was the end of the conversation. I truly appreciate Loverly's outstanding customer service and willingness to help. Thank you for having someone who genuinely cares about taking care of your customers!

The location was not busy, and I confirmed with the employees that they were open before having my vehicle serviced. I had recently been to the beach and specifically asked for the interior of my vehicle to be vacuumed because of the sand. When the service was completed, I immediately noticed that a considerable amount of sand was still left throughout the vehicle. Including dog hair. I brought this to the employees' attention, but no one offered to finish vacuuming or correct the problem. More concerning, I discovered a scratch on my leather seat that I believe occurred while my vehicle was being serviced. I take very good care of my vehicle, and this damage was extremely upsetting. I asked to speak with the manager, Juan, because I was concerned about both the incomplete service and the damage. Unfortunately, his response was even more disappointing than the service itself. Rather than showing concern or attempting to resolve the situation, I found him dismissive, arrogant, and lacking in basic customer service. When I asked for his last name so I could properly document the incident, he refused to provide it. I was not asking for anything unreasonable. I expected the service I paid for to be completed properly and, more importantly, for my concerns about damage to my vehicle to be taken seriously and handled professionally. This is not the level of service or management I associate with Superstar Car Wash. hoping to hear back from Corporate. My recommendation find another establishment to clean your vehicle!

Devin was very friendly and professional. While the bill wasn't pleasant, that's not their fault. They gave me a list of things that needed fixed and didn't complain or try to persuade me to repair some things I felt could wait, especially since we will be replacing the van at the end of the year when the 2015 Prius is released. Anyway, I needed the AC fixed. The hoses were leaking and the compressor needed to be replaced, not unexpected for a 15-yr old vehicle. They also found a leaking axle seal and both the oil pan and transmission pan gaskets were leaking. Since we have two cross-country trips of 6,000 and 12,000 miles coming up, I decided to fix the AC & axle and hold off on the gaskets. Devin did not try to talk me out of that decision when I asked how serious the gasket problem was. He agreed it wasn't a safety concern as long as I kept an eye on fluid levels, which I do. I should note that I change my own oil at times, so I know they've been leaking and I wasn't being taken advantage of. I also know about what AC repairs cost, so I felt their prices were in line with what I expected. I was a walk-in, so they were only able to finish the diagnostics that day, but they completed the work on time the next day and for the price quoted. They even kept the van an extra day because I ended up in the ER that morning and didn't get released until after they closed. I don't know if I could have paid less elsewhere or even if the repairs were needed, but I had no reason not to trust what they told me and it wasn't worth it to me to go price-shopping to save a few dollars. Besides, based on my experience with several repair shops around the country, the AAA warranty is pretty hard to beat, especially since it includes labor. Of course, they're betting the parts won't break and I'm hoping they don't. :)
