Today, however, Loverly went above and beyond to help make sure I received what I needed. She was incredibly helpful and took the time to assist me, something I haven't experienced on my previous visits. I am writing to formally complain about an awful experience I had this morning at your Superstar Car Wash location in Peoria, Arizona. The location was not busy, and I confirmed with the employees that they were open before having my vehicle serviced. I had recently been to the beach and specifically asked for the interior of my vehicle to be vacuumed because of the sand. When the service was completed, I immediately noticed that a considerable amount of sand was still left throughout the vehicle. Including dog hair. I brought this to the employees' attention, but no one offered to finish vacuuming or correct the problem. More concerning, I discovered a scratch on my leather seat that I believe occurred while my vehicle was being serviced. I take very good care of my vehicle, and this damage was extremely upsetting. I asked to speak with the manager, Juan, because I was concerned about both the incomplete service and the damage. Unfortunately, his response was even more disappointing than the service itself. Rather than showing concern or attempting to resolve the situation, I found him dismissive, arrogant, and lacking in basic customer service. When I asked for his last name so I could properly document the incident, he refused to provide it. I was not asking for anything unreasonable. I expected the service I paid for to be completed properly and, more importantly, for my concerns about damage to my vehicle to be taken seriously and handled professionally. Do not pay for a detail here. Got my car back this morning after my husband waited for almost 3 hours on it, and it's a nasty grease pit. So slippery slimy and smells like a grape vape. They clearly use the cheap stuff that is NOT supposed to be used on leather and literally every area of the vehicle. I'm talking under my window switches, door handles, glass, floors, etc. the ground under the gas and brakes made my foot slip even. Such a total waste of money. Now I have been wasting my own time in this heat wiping everything down with wet microfiber cloths and dry ones to try to get this crap off of it and after 45 min I'm only halfway through! This is unbelievable. Never been so disappointed/disgusted in a detail before. Btw I don't blame the worker either I'm sure this is exactly how they were trained to cut corners. Here's some pics of all the dirt they left behind in just the first two side door windows and greasy finger prints that are everywhere because it's so bad. Not to mention they never cleaned any of the mirrors, windows, nor bothered to wipe off the hard water stains on the entire back hatch door. Nothing worse than paying someone for something you'd be better off doing yourself. EDIT I just finished the other half of my car and it was so much worse than I thought. Never shampooed the carpets or the back area. Never vacuumed the back or inside the doors. The entire back was covered in dirt from these dust storms and they never cleaned it. I'm beyond disappointed with how this was handled. I brought my 2025 BMW in for a hand wash and left with a fist-sized section of paint blasted off my front bumper. This wasn't a swirl mark. This wasn't normal wear. This was obvious damage that happened during the service. What frustrates me most is that it appeared the vehicle was being worked on by a very young, inexperienced employee rather than someone with the experience and training I'd expect to be handling expensive vehicles. Mistakes happen, but putting someone in that position and then refusing to take accountability afterward is unacceptable. I reported the damage immediately and gave management every opportunity to make this right privately. Since then: ignored calls, no meaningful follow up, no ownership, and an attitude that felt dismissive from the beginning. I drove through the car wash this morning with my brand new 2026 F350 which has not one scratch on it. After I got out of the car wash and started drying my truck I noticed that there were several gouges on the hood of my truck. I called over the manager to explain that this truck has no scratches on it and had none coming in here. I told him to walk around my entire truck and find me one scratch which he could not find. I told him this was a direct result from their car wash and he chose to tell me that it was a rock chip. I explained that rock chips don't leave claw marks and gouges. When I asked for his supervisors information, he declined to give it to me and would only give me the generic email to superstar car wash. He said there was nothing else that he could do and it was just a rock chip. This is horrible customer service for a manager at a car wash to explain what he thinks it is without having any professional experience in the autobody business and tell you there's nothing else that he can do. I got a $27 car wash yesterday, it was done from start to finish in 10 minutes (I clocked it) when I got home, I noticed many water spots they missed, marks on the hood that I got off easily but they did not bother to try (I watched them). There were also many marks on the driver and passenger door inside that would have wiped off easily if they had bothered to try (I got them off easily at home) there was also a mark from where they taped the receipt to my door that did not get wiped off when they took it off (I saw it being removed). Took my car in this afternoon to get it washed. I had to leave but the car was still filthy, fingerprints on the windows, doors still dirty. This was the worst service that I ever had. The guy upcharge for the seats and mats, but that was done half fast. As soon as I get back to the house, we cancelled the monthly service and not going to use them. The car was almost perfect to start. 5 hours later and they have not waxed or completed the headlight restoral. When I'm in the area I often take my car here to get it washed. I have been doing so for almost 10 years. The quality started going down hill a couple of years ago. Today was the last visit I'll make here. Here's a list of reasons not to go here: 1. The second time in a row my driver's side mirror has been tweaked (the entire housing flipped in) and the mirror is damaged. For all the other people mentioning driver's side mirror damage, I believe you. Even if they deny doing it. 2. They normally try to upsell but this has increasingly become pushy. Today I had to ask the guy if I need to just leave and go somewhere else becuase he wouldn't stop when I told him no several times. Finally he stopped trying to sell, but that didn't stop him from continuing to run his mouth. 3. I saw one of the workers take the car mat out of the driver's side and proceded to slam it against the side of my car several times. I have a black MB and you can see deep scratches where she was hitting it. Although, it doesn't matter what kind of car or the color, even if someone is driving a beater, they shouldn't do that. 4. The guy that was working on the car kept stopping to chat with another coworker. After about minutes of this I just told them to give me car so I could leave. I also pointed out the dust on the car from where the other person was slamming it with the mat. No reaction, just blank faces. 5. The car is always still dirty inside and out no matter how much you spend on a wash. After all that in today's visit, I'm done with this place. read more

I was told that it would take four hours maximum, so I prepaid for a detail job on my truck, then made an appointment that fit my schedule. I was literally the first one to book with them for that day, because I watched where the attendant put me in the schedule, and I was to be first in at 7:30, which I was. Went back at 12:00, and they told me they needed another hour, so I asked for the manager. He said he could put another guy on it, as I had an appointment to get to. He walked out to the detail area, and I watched him put an additional guy on it (but only half-assed) and never came to tell me how long it might take or anything. Finally done at 1:30, six hours. This place is a total joke, and the truck was dripping with Armor All. I drove home, with that crap all over my hands, arms, and clothes. Then I spent 45 minutes wiping it all down. Every time I come to this location, I try to avoid the employees as much as possible because they're so rude. About two weeks ago I decided to give this company another try only because I got exceptional customer service at the 59th and Thunderbird location. The employee there was so nice and kind that he convinced me to sign up for a membership. I have been using my membership quite frequently since signing up and I haven't had any issues at this location until this morning. I came to this location around 8:30 this morning just to get a car wash as usual, and when I pulled into the express line, I pulled up towards the gate like I normally do and it wasn't opening. So I moved up a few inches because I've noticed that at this location you do need to be pretty close to the gates for them to open and next thing you know the employee that was standing over there comes over to me and I was like hold on you're gonna break my gate. Now to me as a customer if you see that I'm having issues that shouldn't be the first thing that you say to me when you walk up to me. From there, he just walks away and he goes over to the system to get the gate to open and puts the tag on my mirror and that was it. The problem that I have with this is that there was no customer service given at all. No good morning no, how are you? Can I help you? nothing. I've had issues in the past of this location and I've brushed them off but now that I'm actively paying for a membership, I think I at least deserve some kind of customer service when I pull up to this location. Got a detail here because I had a gift card. First of all, make sure you use the gift cards/detail cards they convince you to buy because they depreciate in value over time. So my free full detail card was only worth $90, so I paid $150+ and tip for a poorly done detail. They did not clean the car very well and just used something over every part of the car that made it shiny and slippery for weeks. Also do NOT pay for the overpriced scent bomb. I've had the monthly service for some time now. I have noticed the wash service has declined massively recently. I just went in today to wash my brand new truck and these guys barely dried my truck. It took them less than 5 mins after it came out of the wash. They better get their quality up soon or they will lose more service members like myself. The service is a joke. Had my car detailed on Memorial Day even though I only wanted a quick wash and vacuum. The employee would not take no for an answer (Yes, i understand that's my fault.) Told us it works be quick. Over 3 hours later, car is finally finished. Unfortunately, as we approached the car, I noticed personal items laying in the parking lot. I pointed it out to the employee who didn't speak English so had no idea what I was saying. We were so late for our next obligation that I didn't go in.
