I would rate it lower if I could. they had my care for 3 days for an engine service inspection. they said they would call me the next day I never got a call. I called them right before they closed they said they'll call me at 10 am. 10 am passes by no call. I called them at 11:30ish and they said there was no note to call me at 10, and on Sundays they don't have a tech in so they said they'll call me today at 8 am . no call. I called them and they said i needed a new trans??? and when I went to pick it up the tech didnt say anything to me and just left. I doubt they even looked at it -5/5 read more

This is a chain place where they have you sit in your car while you get an oil change. You'll have to wait in the lobby if you decide to do anything else though. Compared to mom 'n pop auto shops, this place is relatively expensive. To give you a comparison, I spent $88.99 for an oil change whereas I spent $59.45 at a mom 'n pop shop. Also note that their vehicle safety inspection here cost $20 wherase a mom 'n pop shop charged me $0 for this. The only good thing is that they allowed me to use multiple coupons for the services they suggested. But note that using a coupon here makes it so that the price is pretty much on par of that of a mom 'n pop shop. So really, it's only worth going here if you got coupons or discounts. One really bad scummy thing I didn't like was that they recommended a service which I said yes to. Then when the service was completed, they recommended some other services to be done. All other autoshops will tell you everything they believe is wrong with your car and you can pick and choose which services you want done. Thus, I paid more than I would've liked because I would not have selected all these services had I known all information beforehand. Not all the workers were nice either. Overall, I was there for 2 hours and 40 minutes. When I went to another mom 'n pop shop, I was there for an hour and 20 minutes. The manager of this shop not only berated a woman verbally for feeding a cat nearby, he called the Peoria Police department on her as well. He then went further to threaten to kill the cats by feeding them antifreeze. I don't think he knows what he just started. I had my brakes changed here. Came within a span of 4months 4 times afterwards because they could not get rid of the squeaking. Claiming it's dust but never resolved the problem even after changing the brakes again. I came to the Peoria location said they'd take care of it, I would just need to come in the next day. Told them I'd be in at 8am, show up and I'm told parts won't be in till 9:30am. I said ok no problem. Come back at 10am waited till 11am to ask, and they said they just received the parts? Why no updates? A simple call? I would strongly advise against getting your brakes changed here. I feel like what I was charged for the service isnt it worth it. I'm here still at 12pm and no one has updated me. I worked with Hollis yesterday, unfortunately he's not here today. The mechanic was very demeaning maybe because I'm a female. When I asked for an update he told me to give them time because rear brakes take longer. At this point I already know this considering how many times I've had to come to try to get it fixed. Also they respond when you leave a bad review to go in their website, and it's a dead end. Oil changed here is about the best thing here, but change the heavy work for the experts. Shoddy repairs, unnecessary services & costs, and zero integrity is what you'll receive at this location. Do not let them touch your vehicle! Took my car in to have the VCM replaced. Service advisor, Sean Haddox, stated I would be called with a quote but wasn't contacted until he called stating the repairs were complete. At that time, Sean informed me that their $20 inspection found the back brakes were fine but that the front brakes, front rotors, and serpentine belt needed replacing which I authorized. During pick-up, I questioned a $150 charge for Coolant Flush Service. Sean stated that the flush was necessary to replace the VCM. At drop-off, I gave Sean the VCM parts and manufacturer's tech manual which didn't require coolant removal. Additionally, two service department's (including a dealer) have disputed Sean stating that the VCM is attached to the intake manifold and is not directly integrated with the engine's cooling system; therefore draining or flushing wasn't necessary. My brakes began squeaking immediately after pickup so I returned the following week. Store Manager Hollis Scott had another inspection done and stated that the front brakes had been done correctly and that the back brake rotors were "glazed" and the pads worn down (both that Sean stated were fine the week before) were causing the issue and needed replacing for another $481. The following day, I took my vehicle to their subsidiary, Brakes Plus, for a second opinion. Brakes Plus stated that the squeaking was due to the front brakes not being lubricated and contamination from the front rotors not being cleaned before install. When I contacted Hollis at Express Oil for a refund, he refused and stated that they would need to perform yet another inspection. Hollis was certain that the back brakes were the issue because "if a vehicle squeaks in reverse, IT HAS to be the rear brakes" which is incorrect. I refused to allow this location to touch my vehicle again. I took it to Express Oil at the Surprise location instead. They confirmed Brakes Plus' assessment, warrantied the front brakes and rotors, and the squeaking disappeared. Sadly, Sean and Hollis were aware that I was dealing with the stress and financial burden of replacing my home A/C at the same time. Sean and Hollis were given several opportunities to correct the issue yet failed in every sense. Instead of being treated with honesty, integrity, good workmanship, and compassion, I received the opposite. Corporate's canned response to any and every review clearly shows that they don't care either. Pathetic. read more

Came in for an Oil change. They did a good job expect they forgot to screw back on the cover. It ended up dragging on the road and splitting in half. It's okay since mistakes happen, but how they followed up was problematic. After asking for them to replace it, they told me they could. When I came back, they told me that they need to order a new cover to replace it and they'll give me a call in a couple days. They haven't reached out to me. I have called the store 3 times to get an update, but every time I call, they just tell me a manager isn't here right now. It has now been over 3 weeks since I got the oil change. Just because I wanted to get an oil change from them, I'm now left with half an oil cover, and now no help from the people who caused it in the first place. This wouldn't be a problem if they just fixed it like they promised, but they show no signs of helping and I will now not be coming back. After reading reviews and ratings I was excited to try this place out! My first interaction with Nick the Assistant Manager was great! And I was excited to experience the service people were posting about. But that quickly went downhill when I pulled in. Technician was a little brash and 100% lied about the services performed on my vehicle via the service checklist. You can't check a sealed battery, you can't check and ok my cabin air filter without opening my glove box, you can't check and ok my air filter without unscrewing 7 bolts and pulling it out, you can't say customer okay'ed wiper blades when I was never asked about them, my washer fluid was not filled because I only ever saw the oil hose go near my engine and no other hose, I know my radiator hose need to be replaced but yet they were marked ok, my tires were not checked so how can they be labeled "next service"? I used to run a oil change shop, I understand what it is like to work in the business, but being honest is what gets you loyal customers! The technician had my reve my engine for less than 5 seconds to check for leaks. I asked him don't I need to run it longer? He said no your fine. He did not check my canister oil filter for leaks while I ran the engine because he was next to my window and it is an upper bay oil filter and the lower bay technician was not even under my vehicle, he was under another one, but yet the verified no leaks. As I was leaving and looking over my printed receipt I saw the service check list and all the inconsistencies. I asked the technician, "Did you guys check my air filters?" He responded "yeah, but I wouldn't change them for another 3,000 miles". One, you lied, you did not check my air filters and two how can you suggest changing an air filter based off mileage without even pulling it out to check it? Then he said I was good to go, but I asked "were my fluids checked?" He responded with a slight head nod. Not once was I spoken to about anything during my service. Yes I know I could done this service myself because I know how, but I need the oil change done today so I came here. Luckily for me I know what I'm looking for and at under the hood of my car, but how many other people, specifically women have been duped?! That is what pisses me off the most. The lies is what makes me upset. Be honest. Do your paper work correctly and with integrity. Take your job seriously. Lying about little things makes people questions bigger things. read more

Had oil change and new battery before my vacation. Oil cap not installed properly or at all. Battery not bolted down. This was discovered 25 miles up a dirt road at a lake. Not sure why I pay for service that is inadequate poor and downright criminal. Not sure what my path forward is but my truck engine has oil spray everywhere. My oil cap was still there and no leaks.The guys were really friendly and no pressure selling. They do use both Mobile1 and Valvoline oil. A decent place for an oil quick oil change. Service is nice but if it takes 2 1/2 hours to replace a tire with a nail in it, that's covered under a $15 warranty per tire, that I paid for out of pocket when I also paid for them to replace all 4 of my tires, you should probably tell your customer it will be a while. Not to mention, I called before hand to make sure they had my correct tire and knew I was coming in. Always have a good experience here, but that amount of time for one tire is crazy. Discount Tire would definitely be the way to go for tire repairs and issues, they do fine oil changes here though read more
